Had my midwife this morning had a sweep turns out I'm 4cm dilated! Having little niggles now so things are starting to kick off. Was able to see baby again too which was lovely. Bp was high so had to stay in for a few hours to be monitored but it went back down so just a waiting game now!

Mrs B - that's good news your cerivx is anterior.. mine was still slightly posterior when i had my sweep on tuesday.. i was 1cm that could be stretched to 2... i've got another sweep next Weds then induction 31st May!

Elishnbean... 4CM - WOW!!! OOh sounds like it won't be long for you now! Is that your first sweep or did you have one last week too? i'll be interested to see what changes there have been with me by weds when i have my next one...

my midwife said if you're already starting to dilate you might not need to have pessarys if it did come to induction... they can just break your waters or get the drip going straight away... I'm very pleased about that as with my first pregnancy it to til the 3rd day of pessarys and internals just to get to 1cm... at least i've got to that already!

Yep first sweep so I'm really pleased- also wasnt as bad as I though it would be all I can say is relax lol. I think theres gonna be a few babies this weekend x

I had a newly qualified midwife do my sweep!! As much as I relaxed and did a bit of breathing it still hurt! I'm clearly a wuss, lol! I really thought I had a crackin pain threshold! Can I book an epidural for my next sweep? Lol :S

Hi Ladies, feeling bad for not being on here in a week. Can't believe a tiny baby can take over your life so much... So worth it though. I am watching excitedly as you all gear up for the big day. I went 8 days over, but think the sweep worked as it was only two days before. How are you doing PP and Catty? Hope there's news on Pinky soon. All your babies will be here soon girls.. Come on May babies! X

Hello may mummies, missing you all! Still in hospital, hemoglobin was 79 yesterday. They did another blood test this morning and if its not gone up I'll need a transfusion. Can't wait to get home and settled with Emily she's a wee star!

Aww congratulations on baby Emily Pinky!!! I know how you feel I hated being in hospital, but you'll soon be home with her. Can't believe you, PP, catty and me all have our babies after being so desperate to meet them just over a week ago!

Thanks Cherelle & Riotfox, we are doing great now after tricky birth. Really miss coming on here but just have no time anymore... Wonder why not that I'm complaining... Totally loving it. You two will be v soon now. XXx
