Pp - yep I'd rather not have these pains because I get all excited and then it comes to nothing - baby is being cheeky and teasing me! Yeah I'm seeing mw next friday (due date) and she said she will give me a sweep if baby isn't here. I know its going to get alot worse but I'm not looking forward to her giving me an internal and sweep I hope the consultant will be willing to get things going if baby hasn't arrived by Wednesday!!!

Midwife said she'd do a sweep on Tuesday at my house if I want her to. Don't think it will be v nice, but it may work and maybe better than having to be induced

Right for anyone who's been in labour before, do you remember if the pains felt like the pains you get when constipated? Or am I just constipated? I did go this morning. Just back from my walk to the shop. Felt like I was climbing a mountain!!!!!

I'm still here. No signs yet.

Tomorrow I am planning operation 'get this baby out'. I am going for a long walk round the zoo in the morning followed by a whole pineapple, a hot bath and a ridiculously hot curry. If that dosn't work I'm going to get my gymnastics club to open up on sunday just for me and I will spend all day bouncing on the trampoline.

I've been feeling like pain down there and in my bum when baby pushes down...is this what you've been feeling? Kinda feels like I need to poo? But I don't! Or maybe I do...who knows! x

Kinda like that but more the pain (how do I explain this) ok if you've ever taken laxatives, it can be quite painful as they make your bowel contract, so its a pain that peaks and then dies down, like waves But they're not regular.......

Catty Ive tried all of that in one day and nothing! We have some stubborn may babies!! I have given up on my lil man making a natural appearance and am feeling a bit better. Ive got some sore ribs and back ache when sitting but other than that im feeling pretty good

The most annoying thing is people constantly asking, as if they wouldnt notice that I now had a baby and not a huge bump... and every shopp I go into people ask 'ohh when you due' and when i say im over they alllll make the same joke about getting out of there shop before I pop in there.. think people think im going to have an alien baby and just explode. Grrr.. I know im huge andd overude but im not a bloody idiot if i thought i had any chance of going into labout id go home!

Beth.......a woman said that to me in her shop the other day. And when I went up to the docs on Wednesday all the staff were saying "haven't you had that baby yet" erm obviously not!!!! Should have said "yeah I've just left her at home alone, she's fine and I'm still HUGE"

I used my doppler earlier and found her heartbeat at bikini line! I'm thinking she must be really low down now

Nope nothing happening although I have a major sore pubic bone. I don't know how much longer I'm going to cope with him sitting right there on it.

The weather is supposed to be torrential rain today here. When I had DD2 we had flooding because it rained that hard. Maybe my boy is waiting for the nice weather to go and the rain to come like his sister lol.

How is everyone else and what are you all up to this weekend?

Its raining here in Cardiff now too - hasnt rained for such a long time its weird to see rain! I might just sod the rain and get out walking today anyway. Cant handle a day indoors waiting for something to happen! x
