Hi Hun, I am all fours as we speak! it's shocking for heartburn, esp after a curry lol. I can definitely talk, but the low pains are taking my breath away a bit. I am v uncomfortable, are you? I'm sure there was a thread about contractions recently but can't find it.

Yeah I'm quite uncomfortable too. The pains seem to be worse when I'm walking about! Maybe I should walk about more

Oh the heartburn......I can't wait to not have it! I bet I'll have this for the next week or even more Keep us updated nanc!

My pains are worse when walking about too, and lying down. Just sitting is ok. If this is considered quite bad pain then I will be great at labour, but if this is considered sod all pain I am screwed!!

I will keep you posted, and you do too.... you never know it could be tonight! xxx

Are the pains sometimes going into your groin as well? I can handle this pain thankfully. I'm getting a bit excited so I need to stop getting excited!

Yeah they are... they are the sharpest ones. Have just read another forum on what contractions feel like.... oh dear! This all sounds v familiar!

Will go read in a minute. I just had a pain that defo felt like it peaked and then went away. Think I'll try and sleep soon just incase something is starting! Probably isn't though!
I need something dramatic like a bloody show or my waters to break!

Well the pain is still there and but it hasn't progressed to anything. I was getting excited too! Took ages to get to sleep, ended up having a shower at 1am. How about you nanc?

Sorry girls, I'm still here. I wonder about Pinky. I Did what the midwife said and slept on my left side all night to try and move baby from posterior to anterior. Now my neck is cricked badly and I can hardly turn my head! Feeling v sorry for myself today! Labour type pains have gone, which is good as I don't fancy giving birth whist feeling crap. Got my scan today after limited movements yesterday, but not worried as she has wriggled all night! x

Yep hun, I'm still here too! Posted just above you. I'm still sore, but just a dull pain as if I'm away to start my period which also goes into my back, bump is still going tight as well. I got really. Excited when I got that pain which I thought was like a contraction haha. I don't want to be this uncomfortable for days or a week. Have hardly slept again
What time is your scan? I'm constipated maybe that's what the pain is

Sorry you're still here Pinky, but hopefully your big day will be after a good night's sleep. I think our bodies are getting ready. I am meant to ring the hospital at 8.30am and I can choose what time to go, anytime till 5pm. So will be going after lunch when my OH can come too. Although now I'm happier she's ok, it will be nice to see her. They said they had to check there is still enough amniotic fluid for her, otherwise she will need to induce me straight away. I doubt it though, I think she was just being awkward yesterday

I'm really hoping to get at least one decent nights sleep before she arrives! It's good that they are checking hun, mine was quiet during the day yesterday but she was very active last night!!!! Let us know how the scan goes! If I had the choice I'd rather go into labour naturally.

Ohh pinky mum and Nanc things are looking good for both of you If lil ones still quiet today i might go up hospital and get checked.. he was active last night but only after the clary sage. I dont know how i can get up the hospital though :S

As my mums cars not working a friend offered to drive us to pick my husband up from the airport tonight but now shes refusing to take me incase I go into labour or my waters break in her car. The airport is only bloody 45 mins from home and if i trust my own body that should bec enough. So im really peed off with her now and gotta try and find a way to get airport, he my husband and I wanna meet him there not my mum and some random woman hes never met grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Hi Beth. Hope you get the airport sorted... That's really crap that someone has offered to take you then refused! You could put towels on the seat! Bet you can't wait to see him though! Maybe baby has just been waiting for dad to arrive

im worried about my waters breaking in the hire car we have at the min and our new minibus has been delayed yet again till the end of may so i dont know if we will have the new minibus or the hire car when i go into labour i dont fancy paying 500 pound if i ruin there seats haha
