May mummies and rainbows to be :) the wait is nearly over!

im still on buccal tablets have been all the way through - but seem to be relying on them more and more this last week.

not sure if im hungry and its my body telling me to eat, doesnt help that i have heartburn too. im gunna try a bowl of soup for my dinner see if it makes me feel any better

Hope all goes well nikki!

Leigh I've had increased nausea recently and stomach pains and stuff and I actually think most of it has been my body wanting me to eat. Ive lost a few kg in the last month as my heartburn has been so horrendous I couldn't eat, and then feeling sick obviously doesn't inspire eating but on the days I have managed to eat more I have felt loads better. Hopefully you feel better soon too!! X

im thinking mine is just hunger making me feel sick!

im not the best eater at times and im having to force food into me for the baby. i seem to feel sick, or the need to poop all the time i think the baby is laying funny

I'm eating a little bit more than I was. Try your best to eat, Leigh!

More explosive diarrhoea for me. Seems to be a regular thing. Hope it doesn't happen during labour :/

If you continue to have diarrhoea then give hospital a call. I had it badly when pregnant with son and had to go in as they said it could bring on labour.

Don't worry about during birth, you usually need to go before so should be out of your system xx

it can bring on labour and cause really bad dehydration so be careful. it can also be a sign of labour as ive heard your body "clears out" when labour is due!

ive managed my tomato soup and i feel a bit better :)

Had my scan everything is fine she weighs about 4.5lbs already just waiting to see the consultant now. Got a well clear look at her face aswell :) hope my consultant is nicer than last time!

oh thats fab news Nikki, do you not see the same one all the time? i do and shes lovely. xx

Ive only seen him once and he laughed at me for wanting to try for a natural birth after 2 c sections so i havent been looking forward to seeing him.again!

oh god! id have gone mad if he had done that to me! hopefully you will see a different one xx

Thats so rude of him. You are entitled to have a preference xx

Well i ended up seeing another different doctor who was no more supportive than my actual consultant. Said scan was fine and asked if i was having another c section i said i wanted to try for a natural birth he said they wouldnt normally do that and that they would normally just book me in for a c section at 39 weeks he asked if id ever gone into labour which i havent. So he just said well you will have to discuss it with your consultant at 36 weeks. Waste of time!

It is a woman's right to choose how she births and the hospital have the duty to give you all the information to make an informed decision and then support you with whatever you decide. They can't force you to have a section if you don't want one but they should tell you the risks involved in not having one and then you can decide knowing all the facts.

I agree, you should be able to say what you want for your birth. Like Emily says, so long as they tell you all the risks and you agree etc, then it is your choice.

I have been told I can't use the birth centre due to haemorrhage with son and after ERPC but I am not too fussed as wasn't set on water birth or anything xx

My c section with my youngest was awful i lost so much blood was really ill and couldnt move or drive for 6 weeks. With 2 children already at home it would be awful if i had another one :(

I had an assisted delivery with Cam (ventous) and am really hoping for a waterbirth this time round and to be able to push her out myself and lift her through the water to my chest. I'd quite like a mirror so I can see what's going on down there too. But, best laid plans and all that! Lol! As long as she gets here safe and sound then that's all that really matters!

Yeah ive said to them if anything happens before now and then ill have a c section but at the moment while everythings ok i want my plan to be for a normal birth

Glad baby is ok Nikki!

I've been exhausted today. I think it might be getting to that point of no return. I'm going to Wales tomorrow for a few days. I wonder what I'll be able to do...
