May mummies and rainbows to be :) the wait is nearly over!

Good luck for the scans x and ouch for the ear drum. I ruptured mine several years ago and I've still not regained full hearing in it. But I did go completely deaf in the ear there was just nothing to bensure heard for nearly a year!

Everything was fine at today's scan. Fluid levels are slightly below average but within normal limits so nothing to worry about. Doppler scan was all ok, although most of the cord was bundled up behind bubs so she could only check one bit! So, all good and no need to see me again unless MW has any concerns from next visit at 36 weeks.

Glad bubs is moving again Leigh and well done for going in and getting checked out.

MissY that sounds nasty! Hope you're OK and on the mend soon.

Snowbee big hugs. Sounds like your hormones ate causing havoc! Mind you, sometimes a good cry is just what you need! Hope the builders don't take too long.

Nikki, good luck for your scan tomorrow.

To anyone I've missed, sorry!

Eh, so I read that these tight feelings I get over my belly are actually BH contractions - practice for the real thing. I thought it was the baby moving. Or is it the baby moving that causes them?

Yep Braxton Hicks are practice contractions, nothing to do with baby.

My whole bump goes tight and then it eases off. Doesn't hurt at all, maybe a bit uncomfortable and often makes me need to pee!!

When i get bh they are quite painful! My belly goes so tight and it hurts in my back aswell i mainly get them in the evening when im in bed relaxing

I've been blaming the baby moving! Usually a hard lump appears on my right side so I thought it was the babies head moving around. Mine aren't painful but are uncomfortable if I'm walking or doing something.

I've had a few painful bh''s but most are just tightening my app says they should be getting longer and more intense from now until the real things! Scary!

Glad the scan went well Emily.

Glad your little man's ok leigh and hope all is well at your scan.

I had a complete breakdown after I posted earlier. I went to docs as started feeling pretty ill. I walked as was feeling dizzy. He gave me painkillers and when I went to leave my wee boy wouldn't put his shoes on or walk or anything and I just lost it. Carried him to my mums where no one was in and phoned DH in floods of tears. Think he thought someone had died or something. Luckily my mum appeared back, looked after the kids and sent me to bed. Feeling much better now. Think a combination of hormones and ear stuff sent me loopy! DH has taken tomorrow off so I can rest so fingers crossed I will feel better asap! Xx

Missyeovil, that sounds awful. Thats lovely that he has taken the day off so you can rest up tomorrow. Hopefully it will do you the world of good xx

Hope you're alright! It must be difficult looking after a kid whilst pregnant.

Sounds awful MissY, hope you are feeling better now. I agree Dovekie, looking after a child and being pregnant must be tough, you guys are all doing so well.

I don't think I've had any bh. My bump does go hard now and again but I can clearly feel that it is baby doing it. Do some people not get them? Maybe I'm just slow on the uptake lol.

I don't know much about them snowbee. I had quite a few last night, right up until I went to sleep. I was getting a little worried!

For packing hospital bags, there are videos on YouTube for guidance, like this one. I think I might get some of those water wipes, instead of cotton wool balls.

Thanks everyone. The first thing my DH said to me this morning was he doesn't know how I've been doing it haha. Our son is being very trying just now!

Snowbee I don't get many BH that I notice. If I orgasm its very obvious and every now and then I get one but I only notice through touching my bump and realising its gone solid, not through actually feeling it as a tightening. X

i think i had BH at the weekend - tightening of the tummy, and a pain, it wasnt painful as such just uncomfortable. got wrong off the midwife yesterday for not ringing them up about it

Hope your feeling better missy xx
