I feel like I am too lol. I can't believe I've got another 7.5-9.5 weeks to go! I can't really get offended by the "is it twins" question anymore lol. I'm starting to doubt myself now!!

How pregnancy brain progresses throughout the trimesters....

1st trimester
You spend 20 mind looking in the fridge for a fork to eat your lunch with.

2nd trimester
You spend 20 mind looking in the fridge for a fork to eat your lunch with..... and are pleasently surprised when you find one in there!

3rd trimester
You spend 20 minutes looking for the fork in the fridge find one then realise you haven't even made your lunch yet you go back to fridge and empty the contents onto a large tray and proceed to eat it all with your fingers as you've forgotten you put the fork on your hair like chopsticks for safe keeping and now you've realised your mistake you really want a Chinese as you've thought about chopsticks...... if only this damned heartburn would go away...... lol

Wow Ery that is one impressive bump.

I have discovered that I clearly usually wear clothes that are too big for me. I'm still in most of my usual tops and they fit fine! No chance on the bottom half though, I defo need mat jeans and skirts. We were out last night and people seemed surprised I was wearing my usual coat. I'm certainly quite large now!

I look the same Ery, I look like I am due so I am no longer offended by the comments!
I have gotten stuck a few times when laying down and when trying the get out of the car the other day lol

My sleep is terrible at the moment, I wake with horrendous pain in my legs, mostly my knees and alot of pain in hips. I try every position, extra pillows etc. It is making me feel a right grump as I am just not getting enough sleep at all xx

Im in so much pain literally feels like the baby is going to fall out and ive got a bowling ball down there lol ive done so much walking today and been in tesco for 2 hours because were doing lunch tomorrow for all the parents as theyve never met and the 3 kids never again online shopping is the way forward for the next 8 weeks!

Lol I've been online shopping for years I just can't be arsed with slow people walking round with their trollys. Admittedly at the moment I'd be that slow person lol. I pay for that delivery saver thing it's about £3 a month but free delivery tues-Thurs and free named day delivery from tesco direct snd f&f too.

Hope the meal goes well for you x x

I've had really low down movements today that have been quite uncomfortable. Hopefully she's head down and getting ready to come out on time!

It was my last day at work today. I got yet more lovely gifts and a handmade Beatrix Potter themed cake! I'm so overwhelmed by how generous everyone has been, really wasn't expecting so much!

MW appt on Monday, so we'll see how bump is measuring and if she's still ickle!

Awwww congratulations on the last day!!! Make sure you take a bit of time to relax x x x

I'm going to try and get all my jobs done and organised in the next couple of weeks and then I'll be able to put my feet up and relax before she makes her arrival! Can't believe it's all getting so close now!

Yey for mat leave. I have 2 weeks. Can't wait.
It's amazing that it is getting so close. I have midwife on Tuesday. Apparently we are discussing birth preferences but if she is still transverse (which I think she is) I will have to have a c-section. Unless she does some swift shifting. I am just not convinced she will have enough space to turn in the next couple of weeks xx

I'm having a feeding chat on Monday apparently and then I think the birth chat is at around 36 weeks. My MW came to visit me at home for that last time.

I think it's appointments every two weeks from now, unless I'm mistaken, which makes it all seem really close too!!

Hi everyone X

Sorry to hear everyone is struggling with sleeping and getting out of chairs! I am just the same, my legs just ache on a night and I constantly Toss and turn! If I do too much my back really kills and I get more braxton hicks! MW says it can be a sign u r overdoing it. I am in full nesting mode but I need to rest too, the thing is I can't sit for long periods because my legs and back hurt and I get jumpy legs!

I am sorry about your OH's being badly behaved :( men are a different species!! My OH is glued to his phone too but he will put it down if I moan at him about it! I find going out for a meal gets us talking and gets us away from our phones!

Leigh glad everything was ok with your scan, are u having anymore?

Emily enjoy the start of your maternity leave :)

Sorry I can't catch up on everything, work has been really full on and I have so much to get done in my last week next week!

Anyone who has animals are u starting to put things downstairs to help get them used to baby bits and pieces? Anyone worried about their cat climbing into the Moses basket? I have put mine downstairs to get them used to it and the cat is straight in it! He sleeps on our bed at night too and I am starting to try and shut him out now but then he cries and scratches at the door then manages to push it open! I just don't feel comfortable about him sleeping in the same room as Leora.

I have started hospital bags this weekend too.

I've got three dogs but they are all pretty easy going(ish)and two of them have been through the arrival of a baby before.

I've varied their walk lengths and times, feeding times and they'll all settle behind a stair gate away from me. They all know the cue to go to away and lie down and all three have walked with a buggy before.

They've seen all the baby bits and pieces around the house and had a good sniff. I'm going to stuff and freeze some bones for them so they can have something nice when baby first comes home to help build good associations and I'll get hubby to bring home a muslin or something that baby has worn from the hospital so they can smell her.

We do normally do it online but my mum had a voucher never again lol

Aw happy maternity leave Emily!

Noone has mentioned feeding or birth plans to me at all yet, I assume someone will at some point. I've signed up for the online antenatal classes and so have have done 3 of the modules. The first two I'm really pleased I didn't bother going to an actual class for as they were pretty rubbish. Getting to the labour one next so looking forward to that one as it will hopefully be more useful.

We don't have any house animals but I will be getting a net to put over the pram for when we are at the farm as we have cats there and I know they would be straight in something comfortable. Going to have to keep an eye on the young dog too as he is very boisterous.

I've managed to injure myself at work this afternoon, I shut a gate bolt on my finger and have cut right through my thumb nail. Ouchy and blood everywhere. It has finally stopped bleeding but typically it is the one time I'm wearing nail varnish so I can't see how bad the damage is yet and I'm dreading taking it off as I know it is going to sting like hell. I think it is going to be pretty bruised both sides and I strongly suspect the nail will fall off at some point. Just what I need!

Ouch Snowbee, that sounds painful.

I've got my 34wk midwife appt on Tuesday. I want to find out which way baby is lying now. It was presenting feet first at the last two. I've been trying to figure it out for myself but it's really difficult. I don't think it's breech because I can't feel a lump for the head at the top, but I think it might be transverse because I can feel baby just above my belly button and if I trace what I think is the outline of their back it goes across my tummy, not down. And I can't feel much baby wise lower down. I occasionally get kicks/punches in my...lady parts...but I think that's consistent with transverse baby facing downwards.
Midwife says it doesn't matter until you get to 36wks but I would prefer baby to be facing the right way so I don't have to worry about an inversion or a section. My son was head down from 31wks.
