May mummies and rainbows to be :) the wait is nearly over!

Can you ask for a telephone consultation kabuk?

Time is still going mega fast for me too. I'm in the same situation as snowbee my house is upside down and left to right! The time is wizzing by I think as I still have so much to do!

Thanks, Ery. I'll have to check on that. I only recently registered with my GP because of the move, so I haven't even had an appointment yet. It can take a couple of weeks to get an appt. The adjustments I've made are really helping- eating dinner on my way home and lots of pillows.

Leigh, how did you're 4d scan go? How'd OH enjoy it?

I literally didnt get any sleep last night my arm is so sore from the whooping cough jab can hardly move my arm lol

morning Ladies!

little man is weighing 2lb 9 he is on the low scale of the centile chart but between the two lines, i have another one in 4 weeks!

and the 4d was a nightmare! he didnt want to play ball at all, he is laid transverse so they couldnt get any pictures! i walked up and downstairs drank coke nothing was moving the little monkey. he was curled up right under my ribs! so i have been told to go back in 3 weeks, where he will have hopefully moved head down!

as soon as i got in the car and was travelling back i felt him move down! he deffo had enough at the growth scan! little monkey! xx

Is he measuring on the 10th centile? Glad all went well :) i had a 4d scan with my first and he was breech and didnt get any decent photos of him naughty babies lol

yea he is just on the line - i may just carry small babies - the lady said everything looked fine, fluid levels etc were fine.

he was a right little monkey! couldnt move him for love no money! he hasnt stopped wriggling today! he curled up that much he had his knees right up to his face covering it

luckily we get another one free as they couldnt get any pictures of him

Naughty little one! At my earlier scans mine was curled up in a ball and refused to budge. Recently he has been much more cooperative so hopefully yours will be by your next scan!

Sooo we have been invited to a wedding, 4 weeks after my official due date. It is a very good friend of my oh (he was my ohs best man). The invite states no babies or children. I've been told they will try to get me to 39 weeks (although I am unsure of the reasons they seem to think I'll be early, I was told they will discuss this with me at my next appointment in three weeks). So if I get to 39 weeks baby will be 5 weeks old. If I end up going overdue they could potentially only be 2-3 weeks old and either way I may not be able to drive. Wedding is 45 mins away. So what do I do? If I can drive I can take my oh and he can go without me. If I can't drive he can still go without me and either drive himself and not drink or get a lift as there will be lots going from nearby. Or do I go all optimistic and say I'll be feeling fine, baby will take a bottle and ask my mum (who would have to come over specially) or my SIL to babysit? Would I even want to leave a small baby? Or take him with us and take it in turns to wait outside with him in/near the car? It is a church and marquee job.

I just don't know what to do as I have no idea how I'll be feeling, how baby will be, how long we will have been out of hospital, if all is ok etc etc. We have already declined one wedding invite from one of my friends 3 weeks later as that one is 3 hrs away, an evening invite and no children too but this guy is one of my ohs best friends and it is going to be a huge wedding with all his mates there and I don't want him to miss it.

i also have a wedding 4/5 weeks after little man is due. no children stated! my mum says she will look after him over night but im unsure how ill feel with him being my first!

the wedding is an hour n half drive away so we would be staying over night and its one of my best friends wedding - im in two minds

I went to a wedding when Cam was 3-5 weeks old. Luckily we were able to bring him with us but if we couldn't have then I wouldn't have gone. It was my cousin's wedding but if it had been on Hubby's side I would have been fine with him going along and I'd have stayed at home with the baby.

XX

Can you say maybe? They have to understand you will of just had a baby and let them know nearer the time? Either way one of you or both of you will go its a hard one

If I couldn't take baby then I wouldn't want to go. I would just tell OH to go. It's hard enough leaving them for an hour or so early on, nevermind for a wedding when only a month or so old.
These are cheeky baby's at the scans. Hope the next 4d one is better and you get lots of lovely pics xx

I've chipped most of the tiles off our ensuite walls today :) Made quite a mess haha but it will be worth it in the long run! Got a few to go at later but most are now out of my reach so will require assistance. Builders back on Monday so as long as I'm finished by then we are good to go.

Little one seems to have enjoyed hammering and has bounded about inside. I think he must be sleeping now.

Aww, Leigh. At least all is well with him. Hope the next 4d one goes well for you. My little monkey has had his hands in front of his face every time. My previous hospital tried to give me a 4d image, but no amount of movement or poking and prodding would get my little man to move his hands.

Anyone with large breasts had any joy finding a nursing bra yet? I've already rejected one as far too small in the cup (so I do have a new mumba bra in large if anyone is interested) and another arrived today that claimed to fit up to a H cup and is also far too small. I need something with structure and more support, they all seem to be in this soft fabric that does nothing for my boobs and certainly doesn't contain them. Nowhere local stocks nursing bras so I'm having to do online trial and error.

Aww shame about the scan hun my Lil. Monster has been a trouble too at the scans my next one is on the 23rd. I personally couldn't have left my Lil boy at 1month old. But he wouldn't take a bottle for months and months.

Well we finished painting the walls in my ons room today. We need to do the ceiling then carpet then furniture.

I have so much trouble with nursing bras u hate how flimsy they are. The only good thing was when my milk came in they generally were full enough to support themselves lol.

Snowbee there is a company called hot milk who might be worth a try? They're fairly pricey from what I remember but they specialise is nursing/maternity bras so possibly have a range for larger sizes? I wouldn't know though haha.

Im so ill today it's horrible. Feeling really fluey and last night was shivering and sweating and obviously running a fever. Threw up all my dinner too. DH stayed off work today to look after kids (and me) but don't think he can tomorrow so dreading it already. My daughter's poorly too with similar symptoms :( x
