Indeed. You can't get out of bed so they give you a cathater. Mind you I had one to empty my bladder just before they delivered my son via ventous. Was great, lying there legs in stirrups, some doctor man with his head in my vag and sticking a little tube up my pee hole! Lol! Could hear it all trickling out into his little dish. He stuck his finger up my arse afterwards too! Lmao!! Can't wait to do it all again!

My preference is no epidural and to have a water birth with gas and air. I've had a spinal before and that was bad enough- felt it for weeks after. The actual insertion wasn't painful, just pressure, but that feeling just didn't go away. So I'm definitely not keen on an epidural. However, I wouldn't completely rule it out. If I'm advised to get one, I'll ask why, and if necessary, I'll have one.

Arrghh, I'm so sexually frustrated. Still in the spare room. Last night i got in with the boyfriend to watch a film and getting a cuddle was impossible. He has a bad shoulder and said his belly hurt so he couldn't move from his back. He just kept moaning and ended up elbowing me in the nose! This is just for a cuddle! I ended up in tears.

Today I told him I'm sexually frustrated and he said "What do you want to do, shag? You can't just spring that on me. I need a shower, blah blah blah". Since when can you not spring that sort of thing on a man??!

So now he's done all of that stuff and disapppears. I find him writing a work report. He comes over and puts his arms around me (i get hopeful) and says "do you want to clean the kitchen now?"....

I would of said no but you can lol wbat a cheek! Im sexually frustrated too lol we still dtd but oh lasts all of 5 minutes and has turned very selfish in bed so i get left while hes satisfied lol

Id like a water birth with gas and air but as im trying for a vbac we will see what happens. Is pethadine the one that can affect the baby? If rather avoid an epidural if i can ive had spinals with my c sections and it was the worst part!

That must be difficult dovekie, it's not nice to feel rejected in that way and nikki, can't you hint that you would like some 'attention'. It would put me off if my OH only thought of himself (not that I care about sex really) xx

I think you probably need to have a proper conversation about what's going on for both of you. Some guys are totally freaked out by the thought of having sex when there's a baby there so maybe that's why he's avoiding it? My husband wasn't keen at all in my first pregnancy and I ended up getting upset because I didn't know why he was rejecting me. We had a convo about it and it was all fine. I could understand why he didn't want it and tbh I didn't particularly want it either but I wanted to feel close to him so we just had more cuddles etc. X

Thats true, my OH doesn't want to as he would feel weird, he misses it but said he doesn't want to have sex whilst I am pregnant. I wasn't offended and completely understand. The thoughts of it makes me feel a bit weird too xx

Lol I'm horny all the time but we have the issue that it's hard finding a time when we are both alone and awake lol
I'm lucky hubby i's very generous in bed I actually had a multiple orgasm last night.... my body never really let's me do that lol.


On a decorating note... we have fully painted and wallpapered the front room it looks so good. Can't wait until the floor is down. I was o my hands and knees using Henry to clear up the mess.... but I. Don't think she's moved anywhere lol

I'm horny too, our main issue is me falling asleep as soon as I get in bed! We are still fitting it in though Dovekie and nikki I would def have a word about how you are feeling and see why they aren't as interested. My oh says he doesn't find pregnant women in general attractive but he does find me attractive pregnant or not. He also doesn't have issues about there being a baby in there, he is quite practical and knows it doesn't hurt them and they don't know what is going on. Some of my friends had loads of issues with their ohs refusing to 'put it in' in case the baby could see it!

Good news about the decorating Ery! Our heating is being started a week on Monday, so fingers crossed it all goes well. That is this week sorted anyway, mass packing session and sort out!

30 weeks for me today! Had my midwife appointment, all fine. Blood pressure slightly higher than usual but I had to go to the hospital and my bp is always higher there, I think it is something subconscious about being there. This is the first time my oh has been with me when they have listened to the heartbeat and he thought he sounded angry lol.

We haven't really had sex more than once or twice this time around but we will def have it on eviction day haha! Put me into labour last time almost instantly so no matter how strange DH finds it we will do it then x

I need to start picking up bits for my hospital bag. Going to take straws this time as it makes it easier for hubby to help me drink and a flannel as I got so hot pushing last time and just had a rubbish bit of paper towel across my head!

Im 30 weeks tomorrow and having a panic cos I need to pack up my whole house and move before baby comes and im reluctant to wash any bits before we go in case they just end up needing washed again. Arghhh! Feel so unprepared. X

I have a few bits for hospital bag, the pads that are HUGE!! nappies for bubs (not me lol) and also got some mats to put on bed to protect mattress from waters breaking or any blood after. Glamorous!
