I'm getting a lot more discomfort on the cervix today than I have done. Feels like baby is lower. I felt it as soon as I got up. Did this happen close to labour for anyone?

I wasn't dilated at all when induced with son and started working straight away. Try not to worry betty xx

Fantastic nikki! Anya started crying when a rap song came on and settled when metal came on. That's my girl!

Within minutes of her bring born she had already found her middle finger to stick up at daddy lol.

haha yeah aria falls asleep when its on and as soon as we turn it off she wakes up! i need one rocker child my other two are lost causes lol

BTW. Does anyone else still have their heartburn/reflux now baby us here I really thought it would go after birth. Also Lil Anya just choked on my milk so scary!!!!

Ah betty so sorry to hear this is happening. Try to remember to stay calm as being tense and anxious may slow progression. I know it's easier said than done but deep breathing and picture a happy place/thing. Good luck xxx

Ery mine went instantly after I got fatso's feet out of my stomach haha! Maybe theres a wee bit of damage after you were so sick and heartburny that will take longer to repair? I read that if your heartburn made you cough it was important to see a Dr as otherwise you could be left with permanent damage. I started to cough hence I went to Dr bit its all fine now x

Oh good. Well I hope it means it won't be long. I've now got my Mam scaring me into thinking the baby might die if I don't accept an induction soon :/

So I'm back at home. After the midwife told me she didn't think I should leave and that I was going to be induced I had a lovely consultant come and chat to me and she said she was happy for me to go home and see if labour came on naturally because my bleeding stopped after a couple of hours. She couldn't see an ectropian so she thinks it was a marginal placenta bleed so I just have to go back in if it happens again to be induced. They don't want me to have a home birth now as I'm slightly more at risk for placental abruption so we had a tour of the birth suite and if I go into labour naturally I'll have it there. They said because of everything that's happened today I can go in at any time and request to be induced even if I don't have another bleed which is amazing to have that option.

So then when I went to the toilet before leaving the hospital I felt like I was having a mild contraction. Then in the hallway I was definitely having another one, then in the car on the way home I had 5 more and I've had another three since being home. Not sure if this will keep going but i can only hope! I'm so excited that this might be it. How do you keep it going?! I'm a bit worried this is only happening because I had three vaginal examinations two of which were with speculums today so it might just be irritation. If I talk to baby and tell it things like how much I love it it seems to help!

does anyone miss their bump? lol even though i was in so much pain and im so in love with aria i do miss her being just mine inside me instead of having to share her lol i havent left her yet im a bit over protective!
