May mummies and rainbows to be :) the wait is nearly over!

My family were supposed to be there on Thursday it's scary yo think about x

Anya has just had her final mw appointment she's now 30g heavier than her birth weight I have the health visitor on Thursday.

It's awful. I don't know how people can do these things, and worse, justify them. How does violence and killing resolve anything?

I think it's a false alarm. Haven't felt pains since, although I have some backache now and occasional BH.

Yeah, the news is awful. It makes me so worried and sad for my baby and his future.

All I know is my fellow mancunian's are strong people we came back stronger than ever after the Arndale bomb and we will do the same again. X take's a lot more than selfish idiocy to break the northern spirit x

I'm also getting the night sweats, how long until those stop?!

Ery my oh has had a cold for the last couple of weeks, we haven't stopped him from touching G and as long as you bf you will pass on the antibodies the babies need to fight the germs. So far we have escaped getting it, fingers crossed it stays that way. Your little one has done well to put weight on already! Also bra wise I'm using one of the Anita nursing bras, they go up to big sizes (I'm a G cup) and they are both supportive and easy to feed with. I'm also using the bamboo breast pads, which I find much better than the disposables. Have you seen the Haakaa breast pump? It can be used to collect the excess milk from the other boob when feeding, I've found it quite handy and it isn't very expensive.

That's good to hear snowbee. I think that's the one Russellmuscle told me about. I've just been putting a bottle under there to catch the drips. I shouldn't complain especially when people find it so hard but it would be nice if bodies made the right amount! I will look st those bras I just need measuring first to find out what size I am now. Should I get measured when full or empty?

I got measured at 36 weeks and my nursing bras are comfortable. I got one from mothercare and two Emma-Jane, one of which is for sleeping. I'm not as big, only a C/D, so not sure how they'd work for those who are bigger.

Me too! I guess the missing people are in hospital somewhere? Not sure if there are people still trapped in the arena?

I hope he's OK Ery. It's just awful that he would target a concert full of young people and children. So sad.

The limbo must be awful. I just hope he's one of the injured as harsh as it sounds hr was last seen in the foyer the other option is too unthinkable.

Rachel - if you are still going and not in established labour yet. First of all it sounds like it's really uncomfortable for you and I hope things start to ramp up soon.
I went into labour after I was losing plug all day, so that's a good sign.
A midwife friend once showed me an article that says paracetamol can slow down labour in the early stages which is leading to more women having extended labours. Probably a bit late to mention it now but you could consider not taking it. (if you have been)

Also, being induced when you are so many days overdue should be easier than an induction on your due date. So if it comes to that tomorrow I hope it doesn't take too long.

It's just awful and has also made me wonder what kind of world I'm bring my child into. I hope he's found soon eryinera, keep us updated.

Dovekie how are you getting on? Any more pains? I had quite a few this morning again but they go as soon as I get out of bed. I had one random quite strong pain today too, did anyone else ever get that? Midwife today said baby is well down and she could feel the shoulders where the head was last week! Sweep on Friday...not sure how I feel about it, trying to focus on the end result of getting baby out asap!!! It feels so huge now, even the midwife commented that it feels like a big baby :/xx

I had my first big strong one on the Thursday. She was born on the Saturday. I hope Rachel is out of pain soon!!
No update on the brother yet each hour that passes it's more worrying makes you glad of what you got. (And that ive got better music taste than Ariana Grande)

So difficult to know what to put on babies in terms heat. I had a winter baby last time it was easy but in nothing she's too cold but gets too hot with a vest/blanket I just keep checking her constantly I hope the temp drops soon!

I updated the front for Vicki x
Hope to add Rachel Betty and dovekie very soon!
