I still have no milk and they are now talking about C section either tonight/tomorrow morning due to reduction in movement (which I think is positional so inaccurate).
All the stuff cot, car seat etc is still in the shop, I am expecting a new car to be delivered within the next 2-3 days (which I need to do paperwork for etc) and we have all the nursery furniture being delivered tomorrow!
I am in serious panic mode, totally not prepared for this today!

Goodness! This little one has caught you unawares!!

If you mean you're not producing milk yet, don't worry. Your milk doesn't come in until a few days after the birth.

Hope you can get things sorted before bubs arrives.

Gesic that sounds like a nightmare. Hopefully you didn't need the section and you have a couple more days to collect everything!

Had a bit of pain this morning but don't think it's anything to get excited over. My son seems to think she'll come today! Not sure why! 4 year old intuition maybe?!

Lol ny son thinks today as well (mainly coz he was born on the 4th dec) my sons not in school today due to the voting day. So he's coming with me to my hopefully final consultant appointment. All my pains from yesterday have gone too. These babies are such teases! I'm worried about how big she is she feels huge today maybe it's just my mind but feels like ive got a 2yr old in there lmao.

I've been looking at the clothes and thinking nah she'll be far too big for that lol

I did some asking around on a fb group for new mums in the area asking if anyone had refused the induction at 41wks and what happened as it seems it is their policy now to not let you go over 41wks.
One lady said she managed to postpone hers to 42wks but she had to stand her ground while they tried to convince her to keep her original appt by quoting risks of stillbirth.
That seemed a bit unfair to me. It's like they are saying would you rather have one extreme of potentially needing an emergency section but you take your baby home, or wait an extra week and risk not taking baby home.
If you put it that way you wouldn't take the risk but I'm such a low risk case, I'm under 35, I don't smoke, I'm normal weight, I haven't had gd etc plus I'm pretty sure I'm one of those that carries longer because my son was induced at 42 wks and had no placenta/cord issues.

Anyway, after a lot of thinking I decided it was really important to me to have a chance at going into labour naturally so I rang the hospital. They checked over my notes and called me back offering to postpone the induction to Sat 13th instead which is 41w+5. They were actually fine about it and didn't even explain the reasons for their change in policy.
I'm much happier with that. Plus I'll see my community mw again next Tuesday and she might be able to perform the sweep then.

So now I'm full on trying to encourage this baby to come before then.
I've got acupuncture booked for this morning.
I'm taking my raspberry leaf tablets.
I'm going for a walk every day.
I have my toddler nursing twice a day.
Been doing a bit of getting jiggy...

And I'm hoping a bit of sods law will come into play and baby will come before Monday so it wouldn't have mattered when the appt was!

Aww that's fab news hun! I guess the nursing is the nipped stimulation we were talking about not long ago. Which is proven to help induce labour! Good luck!

I had a bad pain last night. It was low down in my groin on my right side. A bit like period pain but on one side. Some paracetamol seemed to sort it though, or I fell asleep.

Also, I'm getting a lot of pins and needles and numbness in various places, like my legs :/

They came around at 12 last night and said they could start the process but that had to be monitored first, well little miss went mad! She turned into a ninja and heart rate was too high. Stayed up for over an hour? A doctor came and then it dipped really low, I nearly had a heart attack. All regulated eventually and had the pessary put in at 4am!! Xx

Thanks Ery. Yeah, the nipple stimulation is supposed to mimic the baby nursing so I figure a real child nursing is even better!
