***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

She's head down and her bottom is below my boobs. I feel hiccups very low down, around my pubic line and feels like it's very internal. I've never felt them with my hands.

Thanks mayflower, that makes sense. I was sure baby was still transverse and I was sure baby's head was on left which is 100% where baby's hiccups come from as I feel them so strong with my hand though in my head baby should be hiccuping from tummy so it confused me. So at least know I know I'm right and baby still transverse, il stop getting my hopes up for natural delivery lol x

Ahh lovely to hear from you caseysmummy :) glad lily is doing fabulous and like jessie says how cute she has her own little personality already hehe xx

Re hiccups i feel them low down in my pelvis but i can feel them up higher from her back etc when shes pushing out her bum etc lol. She's head down currently.

Sorry for the long post, but tried to catch up on everyone's posts

Caseysmummy glad to hear that Lily is doing well, and feeding well now too. Also glad physically you are doing well too. I can't even begin to imagine what you are going through and I am so sorry for your loss. I hope your family and little Lily will give you strength. Sending lots of love and prayers your way.

Durhamchance glad to hear your your appointment went well. Did you manage to get your exercise ball back from your little boy?

Bigbee sorry to hear work is a nightmare, mine is too at the moment (well has been since Christmas time), but not long for us now.

Elliott that does sound like a stressful job.

Jessiecat if baby stays transverse i presume you have to have a c-section? Re hiccups my baby is head down and low already and I think i have felt hiccups down low, which doesn't make sense to me as it seems to be where her head is (so maybe not hiccups!)

Willowburn did you have a nice walk this morning? The weather has been lovely here. Really not long for you now!!

Mayflower I've been waking up in the early hour hungry, I didn't know if its because baby is low so more space for my stomach, or just me needing more food ha ha :-)

Flosi i know what you mean about nursery, ours is all furniture we have been given and nothing matches, I felt quite :-( about it, but OH said baby really wont care that the furniture doesn't match and everything we have been given is lovely, so it would be a shame not to use/keep it.

Jen the 17th!! This next week is going to fly by for you!

Buttonbear hope you are a bit more comfortable this evening and baby isn't stretching and causing you discomfort.

Hope everyone is ok. I am really suffering with swollen feet/ankles and legs, they are swollen within minutes of getting up in the morning xx

Jen-cannot believe you're being induced next week! So exciting.

Caseysmummy-it's so lovely to hear from you. So glad that Lily is thriving and feeding well.

Our nursery is still a spare room. I'm really hoping to move before baby goes into his own room so I don't need it sorting yet. :)

Baby is everywhere (still not head down) just keeps doing flips and changing sides. Too much room for him.

As soon as I get on my ball, my LO comes running over to sit on it too. :)

I hope everyone got out to enjoy the sun today. It's been lovely (definitely got my vitamin d in)

Those that are still working not long until maternity leave! :)

Hmm well my little lady is rather quiet, not sure if its because ive been busy/on my feet or a lazy day? Hoping when i go lie in bed she does her usual kickathon etc :/

Re nursery, we have been given furniture etc too so bit mixy matchy but its all lovely so can't complain. Painted one of the chest of drawers as it needed a good sand etc and looks fab!

Buttonbear - hope you're kickathon went well :)

Flosi - I quite like muc and match if anything ours is a bit too matchy furniture wise as apart from chair was a set. I'm sure it all looks lovely :) ours still feels a bit bare although excited that mobile has been sent out now so should be here soon!

Casey - lively to hear from you and that lily is doing so well, you're bound to have highs and lows just make sure you get all the help you need, whatever that may be xx

Horribly busy day yesterday but mw app this morning so work will have to wait (ive delegated in my absence so progress still being made).

My little madam has been quiet all week, I am still feeling her regularly but nothing like she was. I am seeing the consultant today so will discuss it with them. As due date gets closer I seem to be getting more anxious about getting her here safely.

Morning folks hope all is well, think it is set to be another lovely day.

I am going for GTT this morning but feel horribly light headed and weak, as not allowed to eat before hand, and breakfast has become quite an important meal of the day for me.

Morning ladies.

As I'm planning a home birth and live in a different county to my gp surgery/community midwife I have had to transfer over to a different hospital (as that's where the home birth team who cover my area are based from) I will still see my mw for my appointments but yesterday I had to have a complete booking appointment again and get a new set of notes etc at the new hospital- it took forever! And I had to have repeat bloods again!
They were really really nice though and talked me through everything. Baby has been transverse throughout and was head down at the appointment (relief) then as I was walking back to the car he moved transverse again! Woke up this morning and he has moved again (hopefully back to head down but his unstable lie is making me a bit nervous! I don't want to birth a breech baby at home thankyou!!)
I've got the home birth team coming out to visit in 2 weeks (when I'm 36 weeks) it's all very real now! It also seems baby has had a growing spurt as I've always measured slightly under but yesterday I measured 36 weeks!

Speaking from experience- take a snack/sandwich with you to eat straight after the test x

Morning ladies

Caseysmummy: So pleased to hear Lily is doing well, and you are doing so well yourself. It's great that you are able to change her and feed her now too x

Jessie: I feel hiccups against my pelvis/ pubic bone and baby is currently head down. I've not felt them with my hand either.

Blueyes: We played together with the ball to start with, then I hid it in the downstairs toilet while he was napping! Sorry you're suffering with swelling, not much advice to offer with that one?

Button: I hope your little lady gave you a good kicking! In the nicest possible way of course!

Mayflower: I hope your consultant appointment goes well, not long left at work now either x

Flosi: I second what Monkeynut says, take a snack with you to eat straight after the second blood test x

Monkeynut: That sounds like a right faff with your notes, hopefully baby will stop changing positions soon for you!

I'm a week into my cough/cold now, it's really getting on my nerves. My MW suggested I get a gp appointment for it, so I booked it yesterday but it's not until Thursday next week  I'll probably be better by then anyway! Not much planned for today, I'm at work this evening. Blake is desparate for a haircut, so we might wander into town this morning and try and get it done (wish me luck!)

Had a lovely walk blue eyes and again this morning, although must admit despite the sunshine I've been a right misery past couple of days! I also feeling very 'inflated'!! Feet, hands, legs arrrrgghhh!! Hope the little last got a wiggle on button! Friday again so hope everyone gets a lovely sunny day for the end of the week x

OMG did all those that have had this test feel sick and become very hot and sweaty after the drink?? Baby has started going mental moving which is not helping the totally crap feeling x
