***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

Analyst with police, was a murder last night so it's to help with that. Can be interesting but also stressful!

Wow, that's a pretty cool job!

I can imagine it can be rather stressful and full on though.

Aw bigbee- people buy stuff don't feel awkward about it. :) I love buying for people. :)

Such a shock reading about caseysmummy! I hope you and Lily are doing well and so very sorry on the loss of your little angel. She will forever be apart of you and Lily.

How you all getting on ladies?

Bigbee I can relate to not wanting to be bought gifts I didn't want my family arranging a baby shower for that very reason, I know people like to buy but I hated the idea of an event where it was expected.

Wiiiiiide awake.
35 weeks today though yay! Baby still transverse though!

Morning ladies

Doing ok here, woke up in the night for a wee and was so desparate I couldn't do more than hobble to get there, thank goodness we have an en-suite! Woke up just before 6am with my naughty cat tapping me on he head with his paw

Also forgot to put my ball away last night and the toddler thinks it's his birthday again. How long until something gets broken?

Morning may mummies- beautiful day here so am going to finish my breakfast and take the dog for a lovely long walk. Baby is 3/5 engaged now apparently though so I may not be too speedy on the route round!! Hope everyone's OK. Hope you and lily are doing well caseysmummy x

These babies will be here in no time!

I woke up feeling hungry for the first time in months, so baby must have moved away from my stomach! I wondered if she'd dropped a bit but my bump doesn't look any different.

I've made £60 on eBay this week, so I've just treated myself to some nursing tops.

Morning! I hope it will be another nice day here, although I am trying very hard to get the house sorted completely, however it is proving a slow and painful experience in more ways than one!!

Really struggling with what to do with the baby room, we have gone for a light green colour, as this means the walls can stay neutral and I can jazz it in other ways.

We just have such a mish mash of furniture as all been given from people so none of it matches, however the wardrobe which is dark wood cannot be re painted or anything (mainly because it is beautiful) but is MIL and don't think it would be fair to mess that much with nice stuff. Sorry that sounds really stupid but I know what I mean.

Happy day to all, and I hope you and lily are doing well caseysmummy.

Hope everyone is ok?

I'm booked in for an induction Next Friday (17th)! I cant believe it's nearly time to meet our little chunk!

I hope you're doing ok caseyesmummy, thinking of you and Lily xx

Jessie its crazy isn't it?! Eeek indeed! That is exactly how I feel in some moments, although I'm reaaaallly looking forward to getting it over and done with now. If I can get to Monday I'll be super happy for it to happen anytime as long as its all straightforward for him! :)
Jen can't believe you're booked for induction- bet you are excited now!
Really enjoyed my walk-pelvis suffered a little when I got back and sat down then tried to get up again though!

Ahhhh jen NEXT week!!! How exciting!!

Caseysmummy hope you and lilly are doing okay my love xx

I still have zero energy whatsoever, i dread standing up! Little one has has a major growth spurt too i feel huge and heavy now. She also has this new trick where she pushes her feet on my ribs and pushes herself right down where it stings! Had such bad BH the other night I thought she was coming!!

Hello ladies, I've cone to see my dad for a little bit of time away and to spend some time with my family as was having quite a bad day emotionally today. Feeling quite blocked up with it all but can't seem to let it out at all and my heads buzzing so needed a little bit of normality to try to get my head together. Lily is doing very well. Shes now in a cot rather than an incubator and wearing clothes. She's holding her temperature and as of tomorrow she can have her saturation monitor off as she would be 34 weeks. They say she doesn't need it as it has been stable since she's been on it. It's more of a protocol now. Her jaundice levels are stable too so no more blue lamp and have been able to care for her myself a bit more and have changed a few nappies and clothes as well as more feed by breast rather than tube. It's down to her now weaning fully onto breast milk as to when she's discharged but im no rush as I know she's in the safest place right now so however long it takes is okay with me but personally I don't think she will be too long as she's already breastfeeding successfully. She's much calmer now too although she doesn't like to be touched unnecessarily and gets very annoyed if disturbed. They've given us a lovely little room to stay in so I can go and see her as much as I like and actually managed to sleep for longer than 2 hours last night. I was up at 6 though.

Glad everyone else seems to be doing well! Xxx

Caseysmummy, good to hear from you and thanks for keeping us updated as you're constantly in our thoughts.
Lily is a little trooper isn't she with her own little personality, it made me smile top read she doesn't like being touched unnecessarily! So cute that she already has likes and dislikes.
I hope spending time with your family helps I imagine you still feel quite numb and cloudy at the minute. Just keep taking it a day at a time and take in all the love around you xxx

Ladies can I ask where you feel hiccups in terms of where baby is? i can put my hand on a lump in my tummy and feel that's where the hiccups are coming from but I think that's his head, I thought hiccups would be strongest in his tummy if that makes sense? Unless it is his tummy and he's moved round?
So those of you who know for definate where baby is lying, which part of the body do you feel hiccups from?
