***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

Glad all is well bigbee! I've just spent 2 and a half hours and 3 bags of rubbish later declutter in the bedroom ready for when babies are here! Cleaned and dusted all too. Just got to finish off by changing the bed and putting the washing away! Xxx

All sounds good bigbee, so pleased :)

I just spoke to /facetimed OH in China. First time we've spoken since Sunday and little one was going crazy moving and kicking!! I know it's probably just coincidence but was still nice :)

Thanks girls. I feel like a fool! No movements before hospital, nonstop jabbing in the ribs after! Haha

Caseysmummy, you are gonna sleep well tonight :)

Ahhhh, Elliott! That's lovely. You must miss him a lot :)

Bigbee that's similar to when I went to the hospital haha they just like playing games !

Really missing him, at least this should be his last trip a way for a good while ! He normally only goes for seven days so this one being ten seems to be really dragging!

Hello all!

Just trying to catch up. Glad all went well big bee.
Regarding wee/poo- ollie came out weeing (I got soaked haha) then he pooped later on that day.

I'm so looking forward to my midwife appointment on Tuesday. It feels like forever since over seen anyone! (which it has as I haven't seen a midwife since 16 weeks-although I did have a scan-but not quite the same)

Baby has been having some big movements recently but I'm still certain he is head down. My LO actually saw him move and thought it was so funny. He is still yet to feel him though (too impatient)

Tasha I really looked forward to my mw last week and Id had one at 20wks so I'm not surprised you're looking forward to it! I already can't wait until my next one which is three weeks away now!

Any exciting weekend plans? I've for a couple of friends coming over and we're going for a walk to have lunch. I'm hoping I'm ok with the walking as ive found if I go a bit quick it up big hills recently I do get done pulling/aches on one side. I think just ligament type pain/discomfort. I've warned them I might use the odd bench along the way if needs be haha

Well I've missed a lot lol! Will try n catch up.

Had Henry's 3rd birthday yesterday, pic attached :) Got his party today so anither crazy day! Also picked up keys to new house yesterday so the move can begin :) just can't wait to get in there & settled.

Hope everyone has a lovely day xx

We're going for our 4D scan this morning, two of our friends are coming along too. Excited but also a bit nervous for some reason!

Ooh mayflower that's exciting!! (But can understand nerves too). I really want another scan, but even necessarily a 4d one I just want a little nosey to see what she's up to!

Enjoy and look forward to hearing all about it (and bring s little jealous too hehe)

Glad all is well bigbee

I have mine next Saturday! Cannot wait! :)

I have a party to go to today (my cousins little boy) and a few of family members going don't even know I'm pregnant yet so this should be a surprise! I can't really hide it anymore.
I didn't want them knowing because they haven't shown any interest in being a part of our lives or of us being apart of theirs.

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekends so far.

I'm making use of the sun and washing all the baby clothes ready to put away. Hubby has been working hard getting the nursery done and i've been prettying it up after he's done the manual stuff and it's looking realy cute! I'll post pictures when finally done. I think we've actually bought everything that we need as well and it's all slowly being put away so i'm feeling ni a really good place with all things baby :)

Today I'm baking at MILs for a birthday they're going to tonight while she gets on with the shabby chic'ing of the nursery furniture. Excited!!

Thankyou Mayflower buttonbear, Jessiecat and casseysmummy11, I am alot better now I think I am over exerting myself had a good long bath and got some good rest. Spoke to triage and was told to keep an eye as I have a bad preeclampsia history. Hope all of you are doing well and enjoy the weekend.

Arg so looking at ordering our crib(for our room) mattress and I am shocked its literally the same cost we paid for the crib!!! £40 incl delivery and the crib was £44 in the Jan sales!! Pfffft

:)

Am sure you can get it cheaper, depending on what brand your crib is and mainly the size of the mattress needed you can get them from many different websites-

Mamas & Papas Foam Crib Mattress

Yea I'm getting one from tesco its like £10 for the mattress.

So the last 30min of the party my cousins asked if I was pregnant which I obviously said yes. But the cousins that I didn't want to know didn't ask me directly they asked my other cousin who we all get on with :)

Its hard as I don't want to "scrimp" on mattresses either Ive seen more which are cheaper but then are just plain foam nothing else?! Decisions!

Mamas and Papas usually have good mattresses, but ofcourse look around and see what you like :)

Would you scrimp on your beds mattress? Think of the value of a comfy bed, a good nights sleep, proper support when lying down...it's one of those things where I'd buy the best I could afford.
