No work for over a week now!!

Did my usual swim this evening but my legs are really really aching, very odd as normally I di t feel anything after and its not like I did any more!?!?

Orion, don't panic, if I recall correctly you were the one who was trying to reassure me two weeks ago when I said I was measuring ahead. It's good that they are sending you for a scan. I wasn't offered one.

My MW said that they'd be concerned if the measurement was out by 3 cm.

I don't think fundal height is an accurate way of sizing baby. So measuring on the 90th percentile didn't bother me at all. But being sent for a scan to check baby is growing right is kind of scary - almost like the anomoly scan.

My mind says everything will probably be fine. But it's hard not to let my heart worry about baby.

I am really really scared right now, though it's my 3rd pregnancy I have never felt like this before. I have had cramps like period cramps all day very uncomfortable and make it really hard for me to move,constant backache and what feels like Braxton hicks. Googled all of it and ended up reading about preterm labour. Should I contact the hospital I don't like making a fuss what should I do??

Sephorah ive had this twice this week a bath made it stop for me both times but I would definitely contact your hospital for advice hun. I also had lots of pelvic pressure. Your not making a fuss hun your just looking out for you and your baby. Call for advice hun xxx

I would call for advice my love you arent wasting time etc its better to be safe etc and at least put your mind at rest.

Try having a bath like caseysmummy said see it it helps?

Mayflower can you get OH to just get you some? As i had to get it perscribed even though its the same as over counter!! Although its cheaper getting it on prescription for the pessary and cream duo pack!

Sephorah go and get checked Hun, if nothing else it will stop you worrying if it's nothing. And if it was preterm labour there's lots they can do to stop / delay it xx

We're just going to nip to Tesco now to see if we can get anything. I assume the cream and pessary are safe to use?

Mayflower get natural yoghurt!!! Honestly I know it sounds discussing but jut try it and you'll never look back!! Use it sparingly everywhere that itches or burns and try and push some up, or put some in a tampon applicator. It kills the infection and instantly relieves. Wear a panty liner hough as it's a tad messy x

Yep - yoghurt works brilliantly.

I suffered bad with thrush my last pregnancy so used yoghurt before I managed to get to doctors they dont serve you thrush cream without prescription (I don't know why-because doctors are happy to prescribe it)

Leg pain...my leg started hurting today. I think it's dying down now though but it's just hard to tell. Now usually I wouldn't be worried but my SIL has a blood clot in her leg and I know we're more likely to get them now we're pregnant. I'm pretty sure I'm being a bit extreme though

£12?! Should have waited til the morning and got it free on presciption but I was desperate lol. This is only the second time I've had it, the first time was when I very first came off the pill 5 years ago. I am guessing it's because of the antibiotics I've been on for the uti.

Ladies. Quick questions for those of you who have been to the hospital due to worrying about movements.

How long did they make you wait (for an appointment to get scanned etc) when you got there?

Baby has really calmed down in the last two days. I'm not sure whether they've moved to a different position or something else. When the baby moved last time, I got reduced movement for a couple of days, and then different movement patterns.

So I'm debating whether to call the hospital...

They don't normally scan they put you on the monitor to trace obv if nothing then they would scan etc i was there about 2 ish hours it depends how busy they are but for lack of movement you're in right away you dont wait around etc

Hope all ok Bigbee, I was put on a trace within 15 mins of being there and they ran the trace for about 20 mins. That was all was needed to put my mind at rest so don't put it off if you're worried x

I am wanting to murder OH. Had a terribly emotional day yesterday for absolutely no reason and he even bought me some amazing baby stuff yesterday. Woke me up when he came in last night and that was a mistake!! Been fine hormonal wise throughout until now- hope it goes soon because its not even fun living with myself so god knows how OH and the dog are coping!!
