***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

Hope your hands are better soon Caseysmummy.

We use non bio anyway as both suffer with eczema and find it much better than bio to use. This weekend have washed 3 big sacks full of clothes from my sister (They were immaculate, but just to freshen them), there's loads of sizes newborn, 0-3 months and 3-6 months, so they should keep us going.

Also sorted out my own clothes drawers, and got rid of anything that's now a bit tatty.

Cleaned the bathroom from top to bottom as well, so maybe I have been nesting a bit this weekend.

Just baked some whole wheat pumpkin muffins, so have some quick breakfasts to grab to take to work, will whiz up a fruit and coconut milk smoothie each morning to have with it.

OH and I have snapped at each other this afternoon, so it's quiet in here at the moment. I'm sure we'll kiss and make up soon, but I'm still too annoyed to make the first move.

Hope everyone's ok xx

Those of you that have been suffering with thrush, how long did the canesten take to work? I used the pessary on Thursday night and I am using the cream twice a day, it seemed to help at first but I am still really itchy!

I haven't had thrush for a while so I can't tell you how long it takes. Hopefully not too long! I used to put cream on whenever I needed it (i never looked at the instructions - which I never even thought about, quite bad really)

Ladies you can buy next years winter stuff in the sale too! I do the same for Ollie :) makes it so much cheaper when it comes to the weather change :)

Awake at 4...had milk and a cuddle with the dog downstairs. Tired but can't sleep :(

Morning ladies

Mayflower- my thrush took a week after using the pessary to finally clear up, I was using the cream several times a day too.

Sorry you couldn't sleep Orion, I was up at 5am with Blake, but managed to get back into bed for an hour afterwards. You'll probably find sleep just gets harder and harder as you get further along.

30 weeks today! 75% complete or 3/4 of the way through :yay: the end really is in sight now, but it still feels like it's gone far too fast.

Ugh I'm in such a bad mood today for absolutely no reason! Really annoying as my hubby has a rare day off and we'd planned to have a nice day together but I just can't lift this mood!

32 weeks! Hope everyone's ok- Jessie I had that a lot last week. For no reason was just in a horrible mood even when nice things happened!! Hoping for a better week...!!!!

Morning ladies, I think I've got a poorly little boy, he came home from grandads with s tickle type cough that developed into a barking cough within a couple of hours so gave him some tixylix at bedtime and he slept right through until 10 this morning and he's not himself. His cough sounds awful though so thinking I might take him to see the gp aswell!

Jessie I had a day like that Saturday, my mood eventually shifted around 3pm but hadntya clue why I was so grumpy and snappy!

Sorry to hear you've had a bad night orion, hopefully you can grab a nap at some point today!

Yay 30 weeks Durham! The last stretch til you meet baby now.

Xxx

Bad night for me too, my tummy is really achey and I couldn't get comfy.

30 weeks for me today! 6 weeks left at work!

I've got a naughty toddler who is pushing every single button today :wall2: I've ended up shutting myself in the kitchen with a cup of tea for a few minutes peace!

Mheh. Shitty night for me too. Absolutely exhausted today.

Tasha, I've bought some winter stuff in the sales...problem is, we are team yellow, so it's a bit tough to choose unisex stuff :(

Caseysmummy hope your little boy feels better soon.

Mayflower, so advice as haven't suffered with it luckily, but hope it clears up soon.

Sounds like a few of us had bad nights last night. I am so tired, couldn't get to sleep and then finally nodded of around 2 am ish only to wake for the bathroom at 4 ish. So tired at work today, and going straight from work to meet friends for dinner. It will be lovely to see them, but I'm tired all ready, and got until 5pm at work to get through yet. They've said they don't want a late night, so hoping i'll be home by 9:30 ish.

Just worked out with bank holidays, last years holiday to use up before maternity and the 2 weeks of this years holiday I am using at the start of my maternity - I have 29 days left physically in the office :-) :-)

My fat has got sooooo fat, how can you put weight on your face? Finally stopped coughing, so back to gyming and swimming tomorrow - although I get out of puff quickly now, but guess that's to be expected at 30+3.

Hope everyone's day is going well xx

Has anyone else had their blood results back showing no immunity to rubella? I know I have had MMR jab but now quite worried.

You need 2 MMR jabs to be immune. We all have one as kids, but not everyone follows up with the 2nd one. I had it before I went to uni.

Don't know about the Mmr thing flosi sorry :s I was expecting to hear about my blood result for iron levels but still haven't, which they said if I didn't to assume levels were ok, being veggie that would especially shock me but maybe the multi vits I'm taking are keeping me right.

Just found in tk maxx a changing bag Id been liking online but couldn't get over the price (£50-60 ish generally). They had it for £30 which I felt was a good price!! It's a hop skip one and reviews are mostly good yay! (OH friendly too)

My fat has got sooooo fat, how can you put weight on your face?

I haven't put on much weight but my face has definitely got fatter! And I've now got stretch marks on my tummy :(

You've made my go back and count the days, and with Easter etc I've got 26 days left!

Flosi I had the same result with rubella, just been told to have it done within 6 weeks of bay being born x

Sometimes having both jabs of MMR doesn't make you completely immune (it's possible you have had both and just the rubella strain wasn't as successful) i wouldn't worry too much.

Finally have my 28 week appointment tomorrow. So looking forward to it.

My boobs are so sore. I've found hand expressing has been helping but just not enough.

Ok, so general thoughts are not to worry. Thanks guys. I think I am just over tired and in pain, thus taking everything to heart a bit!

I also have put weight on my face, mostly around my nose and have also had lots of spider veins appear over the course of the last couple of months, I've read it's water retention. I don't want to weigh myself lol. Last time I weighed myself id put on 10kgs in around 10 weeks! So decided not to weigh myself again lol. Im having an afternoon of crocheting. I've done around 25 squares so far (not today lol) still got 15 to go then going to boarder them and sew them together and wash it ready. Hoping to finally finish it this week. I've also made some cute head bands will finally take some pictures later now tapa talk is letting me upload again. Xxx
