***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

Glad you got on well button, Fingers crossed she turns for you soon, so your no longer in pain and then hopefully so you can have your home birth! Just think if you do have a c section we could be mummies on the same day if we were both booked in for exactly 36 weeks! I see my midwife next at 31 weeks i think. Ive got to book in the my whooping cough jab and my bloods at my gp so will do that in the morning for next week i think xxx

Thats mad caseusmummy we have the same due date and may have them on the same day haha! Hopefully she does turn though!!

Button I did a lot of research on turning transverse babies with my son and I wouldn't advise it to anyone as it's a lot riskier than moving a baby in any other position., my hospital won't even attempt it.
It's funny how places do things differently, this baby wouldnt be delivered until after 38 weeks BUT i'd be hospitalized at 36 weeks in case of waters going ( it makes for a long and boring stay!) I have heard that other hospitals just do the section at 36 weeks though.
Oh well, maybe they'll both turn x

I REALLY hope they turnits quite scary them being in this position!! Also just how uncomfortable it is too. I wouldn't go for the manual turning I said I wouldn't with my son either don't like the thought at all.

Button, is manual turning really painful?

I've heard it's really painful too. I hope they turn for you both! Xxx

I've no idea not having had it, but googling it seems like it can be very painful and has its risks to baby etc too.

Baths are really not what they used to be!!

I used to love a relaxing bath, but thought I would have one tonight as aching and is the first time in years as normally jump in shower, and did not find it very relaxing or enjoyable!!

Hope everyone one is ok, and babies are all behaving.

Aw that's a real shame, I am really loving baths at the mo!

Mayflower we got our kingsize waterproof cover from Wilkinsons, it was cheap and is a good silent night one. Boyfriend decided we needed it on the bed already 'just in case'

Glad your appointment went well buttonbear.
Here is the sifting link i said about earlier. My pregnancy yoga teacher sent it me. http://spinningbabies.com/techniques/activities-for-fetal-positioning/rebozo-sifting

Hope everyone has a good nights sleep, with little aches or pains xx

Ooo caseysmummy 24th april is a brilliant day to be born (my birthday obviously haha)

I hope baby moves Hun.
I have my midwife appointment next week and will hopefully get to find out how baby is lying. I know he usually lies on my left but he flipped in the car yesterday and now on my right. I think he's head down.

I haven't seen a midwife since 16weeks. So long to go between.

I have my 4d scan on 14th so excited for Ollie to see baby :)

Freckle on the go already this morning. Got woken up several times by him in the night too.

Having a wobble on his name now. We had picked Toby Alexander. I like it but not sure I love it anymore :( would still have Alexander but not sure on Toby

I love the name Toby but have a think....can you find one you like as much?? I wavered on maggie but still haven't found one I like anywhere near as much so am back to loving it.

This little cheeky one is still being active but not quite as much as some days but still getting movement at around the right times so not stressing it at the min, think I'm just greedy and want movement all the time!

Be careful what u wish for Elliott! His movements can be quite painful now as he doesn't have any room anymore!

Haha I know but as I seem to be super paranoid ever since getting pregnant I like signs hehe. Don't worry you can laugh at me if u ever say it's getting too much :)

If I get up for a wee in the night I sometimes feel her having a wriggle, but she's not woken me up with movements yet. I am surprised she hasn't, because I am a very light sleeper. Next door's 11 month old woke me up 4 times the other night!
