***** May 2015 Mummies to be *****

I was addicted to milk last time Orion :) I was drinking it straight from the bottle lol

Lol - Im not at that stage yet. But I can down two glasses before shutting the fridge!

Also drinking it if I wake in the night with heartburn. Funny I don't get it during the day (yet?).

Orion you will be doing well with your calcium intake!! I know durham- seems to be getting very close now! Hope everyone is OK today. :)

I'm the same with the milk cannot get enough of it! Yum!!

Hi All.

Jessiecat, I'm a lot better than I was thanks. Still coughing like and old goat, but not like an old dieing goat any more!! I've come back into work today, and everyone's saying how awful I sound, but I really am a lot better, I felt soooo bad before.

I haven't had the milk craving yet, but wish I could as my consultant said to make sure I get plenty of calcium as it's even more important with the vitamin D deficiency.

Sorry to hear you have another cold Durham, hope you feel better soon.

We've got builders in our house as of today for the next 3 weeks, so who knows what mess I'll get home too xx

im definitely resting this afternoon popped out this morning to get babies drawers for there clothes as never got round to it over the weekend with this, that and the other and also popped to kfc for a naughty lunch but was super tasty, haven't had one in so long. My braxton hicks started up again but when ive came home and sat down for 20 mins they've eased off again thankfully so maybe its my bodys way of telling me to slow down a bit the only thing is i think my nesting's kicking in as all i want to do is clean and organise, my sister popped in to see me and hoovered up and mopped for me bless her as i was struggling with it and i cleaned my cooker but really want to clean all my cupboards in the kitchen out properly so i can organise some space for babies bits such as steraliser as our kitchen is tiny and have hardly any work space to store it. feels like i have so little time left now to get these bits done but in reality ive got a few weeks so theres no rush at all. So ive forced myself to sit on the sofa with my crochet watching horrid henry with my little man.Got a scan and consultant app tomorrow afternoon and havve to get my bloods done aswell while im there. So going to write down some questions for my consultant as have a fair bit i want to ask her. Is anyone else feeling well in there selves but occasionally seeing like stars/lights around there eyes?

Glad your feeling better blueeyes!

Im also obsessed with milk atm although it has to be blue milk as green has seemed far too watery. xxx

Nesting? No idea what you're on about!

I've only cleared out, wiped and reorganised all the kitchen cupboards this afternoon to make space for a 'baby cupboard' for bottles, formula etc.

:)

Evening girls. Hope everyone os as ok as we can with the extras on board.

So I had my 28 week appointment today, and all well with baby measuring right on target, and head down currently.

But I have got ringworm!!!! So itchy, looks awful and is across my chest, not only that but have a ball to go to on sat and now going to not only feel horrible, fat and out of place but look it too!! I know I shouldn't moan but was really looking forward to it.

Oh no flosi that doesn't sound nice!! Do you have anything to wear that will cover it so you feel a bit better?

Have my 28week mw appt tomorrow looking forward to it 1.to get things in motion for homebirth and 2. See what's the plans for little one being transverse!! Lol

I definitely feel the nesting but my skin is hurting so much at the sides of bump with the way shes lying i just cannot move great right now.

We had a little pushing war earlier baby girl and I, she kept pushing her hand out so i tapped it back and she kept doing it hehe was lovely :)

I only have one dress that fits and it is strapless. Think I will have to try cover up make up. Really getting me down this evening.

Hey ladies :) we pick up the keys to our new house on Friday! Can't wait! So lovely knowing we're gonna be all settled & unpacked before freckle arrives :)

Hope everyone is ok xx

Sorry to hear about the ringworm flosi, id have a practice with make up before ha and see what you can do hun.

My tummy is really tight too button, I did think on Sunday morning one baby or both could be transverse again but my kicks are still up top and down low si not sure if it's just tight because there's no room in there now but it's killing me just to walk around. My bump has also dropped a little lower again so much so when im standing I can feel the weight on my pubic bone digging in and leggings are tucked under bump and leaving marks. Im thinking I may need a bump support definitely now just to help with the weight as my back feels sore too.

Glad everything's falling into place now larly will be lovely to be settled ready for when freckles here! Xxx

Its a horrible feeling you can see my ribs on my back as its pulling all my skin round for bump at the sides!! OUCH She has her head on my top right and back accross vertical then bum on my left and legs are going down to feet at my bits/bladder!!

Can literally see her head pushing out when she gets going, surreal!

Yay so chuffed for you larly :)

It sounds really painful button :( hopefully she will move head down again soon for you so you can get a bit of relief from the tightness. Im hoping to find out what position mine are in for definite this afternoon at my scan as this morning my tummy went wild! I felt movement all the way round my bump between the pair of them.

Im fuming this morning, when I got paid this month it was only half as my supervisor forgot to tell payroll id come back to work but she rang up payroll Friday and they said they would pay me the rest yesterday, I checked a couple of times yesterday but wasn't sure what sort of time it would be, checked this morning and still nothing so going to have to ring up work to try and sort it out again. It's like 400 pound so can't do without it really as ive got bills due. Fingers crossed they sort it today!
Xxx

Update on the pay situation, I've rang payroll and the lady sorting it has gone on annual leave so they need to resend the info to the other lady so they can put it through, surely the lady who spoke to my supervisor on Friday knew she was going on annual leave this week so could have told her to send it to her colleague. I hope it gets sorted today. Xxx

Casey, that's annoying. Hope the money money situation gets sorted soon.

Flosi, what's ringworm? I'm scared of googling it....

Just realised that I'll have a little baby in roughly 10 weeks. That makes me feel ill with worry :( so scary!!!!

Button, hope the baba moves!!! Are you using the bouncy ball to try and turn baby??

Good luck button, transverse babies are notoriously painful to carry :( xx

Do you find the 30 week milestone terrifying?
24 weeks was great because it meant baby was well developed should labour happen, 28 weeks is also a good one and then 30 weeks is like SHEEEET baby is coming!!

Its beginning to sink in that I am soon going to be responsible for a human being! I really cannot wait but it's also a bit daunting.
