Mayflower, that's what happened to me. It's not enough to be what you think is waters but loads of wetness instead? I had two if those leaks on Thursday when my contractions started. They tested me for waters when I went to the hospital and then offered to break the rest to speed up my labour. Did the trick. Baby was born 6 hours later. Apparently these small amounts are waters behind babys neck or something along those lines.

It's always best to get it checked Mayflower, this happened to me when I was pregnant with Blake, but it was only discharge (I was checked in hospital) fingers crossed things move for you soon, I feel a little guilty leaving my DD bud behind!

My official due date today ... cnt believe im 40 weeks already. Woke up feeling generally awful. Nausea is unreal and have crazy back pain. Have loose bowels but been having those a while.

Little one probably still too comfortable. I hope he/she makes an appearance soon though cos i feel awful ... hormones r crazy as well keep crying like a nut job lol how fun am i to be around eh haha ...

I still feel awful this morning. I feel so sick and my tummy is still off. I couldn't get out of bed. I've never felt this poo at the end of any of my pregnancies. Hubby got home from his night shift and I cried. A lot x

Girls what did ur contractions feel like at the start of labour? Im having tightenings all over my belly and back ache. Also just lost a big blob of white gloopy substance i assume this could be a piece of my plug?

Second time around I didn't do much as it was premature labour. I rested for a while until it stopped then did some housework, as I was nesting really bad. Hoovering lots then it restarted again in the evening so I rested again but it carried on. I found I was loosing plug every time I went to the loo.

First time around I was overdue so I did lots of walking up and down my stairs, a few jumping jacks and nipple stimulation ( hand expressing) as it starts contractions. I also had a really spicy curry and my contraction regulated. Walking around helped the most though. Keep on your feet as much as possible I think. I googled how to regulate contractions and found some good tips on there. My contractions started around 7pm and I had him at 11.45 the next day. Keeping my fingers crossed for you xxx

They r still on n off atm. Havent lost anymore plug though which i hope i do. Ive hospital in the morning too for a a sweep so heres hoping x

Hi everyone, what a wirldwind got home yesterday which was just fab having her home. She is an absolute diamond so so content, breastfeeding like a champ to the point my milks coming in already!!

Mayflower hope its waters as they may just break them fully and boy does labour get going i was 2 hours after mine!!

Cers sounds exactly like how mine got going!!
