I'm booked in for a sweep a few days before due date due to going for vbac as well. Hubby and I are planning on putting crib together and getting our bedroom ready for baby. All becoming very real now!

I'd not even really thought about sweeps with baby spinning into all positions. I'm seeing my midwife on Friday at 38+4, but I'm not sure I want to have one? (If she'd do it?)

On another note- I had a lovely dream! I wasn't pregnant, there was no toddler in sight and me & OH were having a dirty weekend away! The lack of sex must be getting to me lol!

Ooh possible progress is always exciting!

Silly question. Isofix base...when did you get it set up in the car? Ours has just been sat in the box but was thinking we should get it fitted and make sure we're happy with it, but once put in figured there's no point taking it out but feeling a bit paranoid about having it in the car pre baby?!? I'm usual do rational!!

Our base has been in for a few weeks. The car seat is in the house. Will be grabbing it on the way out

My car seat has been in the car since week 36. It's not an isofix so I wanted to practice putting it in securely and adjusting the tilt and straps etc. it's not something I want to be working out tired on the way home from hospital.

We put our base in but took it back out again as it was rattling a bit without the weight on the top and its easy to fit so OH can do it last minute!
Well...its our due date!! After all this waiting its here...and I feel fine!
We'd like our baby now please!
Walked, had rlt, pineapple, DTD this morning and nothing so far! Hoped something would be happening by now!! Hope everyone's OK and hope something is happening at your end Rebecca x

I have been havinf mild contractions since yesterday evening but they are not getting unbearable, and I've sent hubby off to work at lunch time. I have just realised though that baby has hardly moved at all. I think I'm going to have to go and get him checked out later when I've put the kids to bed.

still about 10 mins apart but more painful!! ouch! max (my 18 month old) was taken to a birthday party by some friends to give us a break to get things going and hes on his way back soon so will be fun to sort him through contractions!! im so scared they will just stop after all this, seems so slow! xxx

Well, first day of maternity leave today. I've cleaned the kitchen, ironed, hoovered, watched Netflix...but I am so f@cking bored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not sure how I'm going to cope.

Urg i need advice ladies, since thursday I just haven't felt right, can't explain it other than that really. Just off, unsettled, rough... also LO still isnt that active, now she is moving but just nothing to right home about. What do I do, as when I go to hospital they are happy she has heart accelerations and whatnot so i go home because she does move?!

Buttonbear - if baby isn't moving as much as they usually would, then go get checked. However, if baby has always been a bit quiet, then that's okay. Some move more than others. But go with your gut. If you don't feel right then go get a check up. That's what's the nurses and midwives are there for.
