Hope your appointments go well the next two days Jazzy! I know, I'm just so dizzy tonight. Keeping getting a jolt/shock type sensation in my head that makes me jump and affects my dizziness in a bad way! Hopefully I'll wake up feeling 'ok' again tomorrow. I can't go back to my old dizziness where I couldn't hold my body upright. I have to be well to have this baby! X

Thanks jazzy, you're right! I've been very productive then. Sorry to hear the dizzyness is back Vic :( Hope you're feeling a bit more normal tomorrow. It's all getting a bit real now we have so many appointments!! X

I have lots of appointments next week, scan, consultant and the health visitor is coming out. I think the nausea is coming back I'm waking up feeling very sick :( feel like I'm falling apart at the minute xxx

Just put my first baby wash in the washer :) all the vests and baby grows and bibs , going to out them on the airer in my room and iron them maybe later or tomoro and out them away ready and tomoro think il do the towels, blankets, sheets etc , went and got a mamas n papas changing unit yesterday from a girl on selling site for 10 quid has a few marks on it but for 10 quid can't moan just need a few whicker baskets to go on it , feeling more organised now aswel with hospital bag almost packed aswel 30 weeks Saturday almost in single figures! I remember beeing excited going into double figures in tri 1 not I'm excited about single figures again lol xx

Wow Jojo, you are so organised! I am planning on starting washing when on mat leave, give me something to do! Though I'll probably be unable to do it by then, spd and back pain is making me feel like an arthritic 90 year old!
At the moment I'm too obsessed with washing my own bedding! Doing it weekly at the mo, just love the fresh bedding feeling!
Not even started on the hospital bag stuff yet! Xx

Just had my 28 week apt with a trainee midwife who was very nice. Measured bump at 27 cm for 28 weeks, is this ok? She didn't seem bothered by it. Also she said to get a whooping cough vaccine for baby's sake, anyone else getting one? I thought I was already covered for that. Listened to baby's heartbeat and it was around 150 and baby was happy, I asked her about the gender and heartbeat theory but she said as this stage it doesn't apply anymore. Was sneakily trying to find out lol!

I'm part of a big group on FB from baby centre due in may around 200 of us and already there has been 10 babies born in the last 6 weeks all doing brilliantly :) and also a fair few having false alarms and others on bed rest due to early labour so yer I'm panicking a bit cos u just don't know when it's gonna happen plus with me having a low, lying placenta I'm worried about that , got scan in 2 weeks or so to check where it's at but I just want to be prepared for everything and if my placenta does now move then I'm looking at a section at 37-38 weeks which isn't long after the 32 week scan and with the severe round ligament pain I get and realy bad foof pain which is just getting worse and worse I want to be organised soon as possible :) plus I love washing baby clothes here is them all on the airer

Yer they say 4 either side of measurements is fine I was measuring 3 more than my weeks but baby is average size no bigger than normal, and yer I've just had my whooping cought jab 2 days ago it's fir the baby as they say it passes over the placenta to help, protect the baby when it's born till it gets it's own vaccine xx

Aww Jojo!!!!!! Look at the little things! So cute! I can't wait to do this. First time I've looked forward to washing! xx

You sneaky thing ;)

Well last week I had my 28 wk appt and I'm also measuring 27cm and midwife said this was fine. Like Jojo says - 2cm either way. Baby was lying across so not even sure how accurate this is! X

I was measuring 26.5 at 28 kauto and midwife said it was fine. On my personal growth chart it actually puts me above the 50th centile so think it depends how big u are to start with. Its not necessarily 28 at 28 weeks. I got my wooping cough a few weeks back, think they are pushing it again as there has been a bit of a surge in cases in the last few years.

Sorry to hear your getting dizzyness Vic, that cannot make it easy to do things.

Impressed with your organisation JoJo, I need to pop to shops to get some nighties and things so I can do hospital bag.

I have been getting quite a few uncomfortable kicks and things the last few days, think it's because baby is still breech and can get in to some funny positions! Started my lazy daisy anti natal classes yestersya that include yoga and birth positions so hopefully the movements will help persuade her to turn! Nothing seems to work so far though and I do aqua natal and things like that. Xx

Oh good that's a relief then! Thanks, it was good to know what your measurements are all like.

Aww for baby clothes all washed, we need a new washing line and looking at the forecast for this weekend, I think we might wash some of our baby things and hang them outside for once :)

I had my jab today kauto, was expecting a sore arm but nothing as yet :) Mind you it was only 2 hours ago ;) At my 28w appt yesterday I measured 29cm; I expected it to be less as my bump is still quite small compared to others I've seen at28w.
Sorry to hear your dizziness is back Vic, hope it doesn't get any worse. I had one dizzy spell on Sunday and that was horrible, can't imagine suffering with it like you have. Xxx

Thanks Rachel, very dizzy today but I'm so used to it that I still managed to meet a friend for coffee and I popped into town and bought some over the bump jeans from new look - they don't half make my legs look thin! So that cheered me up lol. I'm exhausted now and the room is spinning, but hey, I've done something! Haha x

Hope that tinker baby gets turning! :) x

Thanks Lucy, it's really tiring, it affects my whole body as if it's a blood pressure issue but I know it's not as I've had it for so long. Must be whatever is going on in later pregnancy that's causing it to be worse at the moment. My sinus area is painful and puffy so hopefully it'll calm down and the dizziness will just go bank to feeling light headed - that's much better and easier to cope with. Also hoping it's the low iron so these tablets will help. It could also be as my husband says, that I'm just a knacker! Haha! X

Oh my days I'm growing a monster!
Still don't like my community midwife - she keeps calling me Janine, and yawned throughout my appointment, told me I've already missed the nct antenatal appointments, I think she would of killed me if I said no when she asked if I was gonna breast feed!

Measuring half a week ahead. I know these are guesstimates but I've gonna from like 800g at 25 weeks to 1600g at 28 (that's 3.5lbs already!) "good size baby" she said! My cross has gone from under the 10th centile to now above the 90th centile! Has he had some crazy mammoth growing spree!?
She had a feel after I asked her baby is head down with his back along my right side, baby has bloody active fists!!
Next appointment is in 3 weeks, I need to decide whether I want to go to the two nhs antenatal classes on offer, one on labour and the other on breast feeding! Anyone else going to them?

Aww Jojo! All those little bits and pieces! Soooo cute!
X

Well, she sounds like a right charmer Janine ;) bless you. That is a growth spurt! All positive though I'm guessing! I don't like these measurements - I'd love to know how much baby weighs! Our Nhs antenatal appt is a one 3 and a half session on a Sunday morning starting at 9:30am! Hmmm! We're booked in for the 13th of April x

I wanted to go on the NHS course, but was told that there's no point as we're doing NCT. I am permitted on a breastfeeding session though on another day, so that should be useful. Trying to do everything I can really.

At mine JazzyFizzle the baby had their back on my left side, head down and limbs on my right which is where all the kicks are :)

I my mw apt yesterday. Not diabetic Yay and although my iron has dropped by 3 which would make most anaemic my levels before were 15 and they are now 12.3 which is the average for most. I'm measuring big, apparently hes 4lb but I'm taking it with a massive pinch of salt as they said my daughter was going to be huge and she ended up at 8lb 1oz.

Ooooh I love all the bump measuring and finding out where baby is laying! My mw does the appointment at 29w so mine is next Tuesday. People keep saying how massive I am (thanks) so expecting to get a big ol number!! Sorry to hear your mw was a bit of a dragon jazzy! I'm scared what they'll say when I say about combination feeding.. My mw is quite pleasant although not very sympathetic! I'm so exhausted today I don't feel like me at all :( xxx
