*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

It's funny I'm again in a 'please not just yet' stage. Just to be different :) we are all full of viruses, I am knackered as it is, and am not even sure they would let my husband on the ward in this condition in case he gives this to other women or babies... Which is fair enough, I would hate to pass this to someone else, but at the same time I do need to have him with me :( anyone knows what happens in such circumstances? X

Tiggy don't you know your baby's position?.. I wouldn't think it means much anyway - they say that all pregnancies and labours are different. Just your bubba is still too snugly there x

Well all I know is last midwife appt at 38 weeks he was head down and 3/5 engaged, but no idea if he is facing the right way. She didn't say anything?! I know they can turn anyway so maybe it doesn't matter and yes your prob right different pregnancy different labours!

As far as I know it's only diarrohea and sickness where hospitals will get a bit funny about visitors having. is it a coldy fluey virus your husband has? If so as long as he doesn't cough over newborns etc they won't bat an eyelid.

Sorry to hear about your poorly boy. Is he any better this evening?

Hope you all feel better soon Olya, honey and lemon always helps me if I feel full of cold.
I keep getting back pains that last a good ten minutes or so that come in waves every few seconds, definitely not comfortable but I'm not sure if it means much :/
Hoping either Tiggy or Demaris that you're next, I love waking up to read that there's a baby been born. Every time I tell OH he says "but it's not OUR baby" lol bless him xxx

Quick question how much do they say baby puts on in thw last few weeks

Had my sweep today mw says im 1cm and favourable, think I lost some of my plug instantly as was some orangy discharge on the towel I was laid on, she also said baby is very low and she felt his head which freaked me out abit lol! Been having a few cramps and back is starting to ache a little so hopefully ill be a mummy soon :-D congratulations to all the march mummies so far! X

I.love you poor thing, it's been one thing after another for you :( I swear by garlic tea, that's soaking garlic chopped into big chunks into hot water, then drinking it down when it's Luke warm. The garlic really helps kick in your immune system. I hope you all bounce back soon xx

Charlotte sounds like things are moving for you too :) it's funny we had a lull here in March babies now things are happening lol.

Tiggy, rest is probably a good thing, it's the not knowing when isn't it! I am exhausted today and only walked up the park, tomorrow I intend to try to do little and hopefull get an early night. The tightenings for me are really low down right now not sure why they feel lower down now. Gonna go and watch a dvd in bed shortly. I.love we did DTD this morning not sure if it helped but OH was happy! :D

Tiggy yes we all just have normal colds/viruses/flus. That's good to know. and we would of course try to stay away from other people...

Difficult to say if my boy is better yet - we are giving him calpol, otherwise I think he would have a fever again. He is now on antibiotics for his ear infection, hope this will help him.

Lanny we do lots of lemon and honey :) I love it.

Demaris wow that sounds like a strong brew! Is it horrible to taste?.. I'm thinking of giving it a go, but I think my husband might avoid me for a week afterwards :) :)

Strangely it doesn't taste strongly of garlic. I took some when I started to feel a bit yucky when my son got poorly last week and nothing come of it, it stopped it in its tracks :)

We just got home. Will try and catch up on posts when I'm feeling a bit more human. Haven't slept since Thursday night and that was only 2 hours!

Demaris that's awesome! I have shopping delivery coming today and I managed to add garlic last night to the list. So will give it a go! Thank you!

Podpie aww welcome home! Xx

Happy Mother's Day to all March mummies and mummies-to-be! Xxx

Happy mothers day everyone! Hope you have a wonderful day with your bumps babies and significant others.

Nothing for me to report other than an amazing sleep 10pm-7am! (Sorry if your sleep deprived)

Anyway, I think I'll hand the next labour /baby to come to demaris and nonabean!

Morning ladies! Contracting on and off regularly all day yesterday and got woken up by several last night but although they get fairly regular for a few hours they never get stronger.
I'm worried baby has moved - he had a HUGE wriggle the other day and things just have not felt right since. These cramps could be my body's way of turning him I guess. Don't see a midwife till next week to check :(
Finding it hard to stay positive today. Full of cold and my throat is in agony - again. Still having to pee 4 or 5 x a night so just can't seem to rest. LO is at nans tonight so I could rest but I was still awake at 7. Husband is blissfully asleep. I want to kick him

Ooh spin sugar!contractions sounds exciting! Hope you can rest today. I had the same Friday and Friday night, contractions regular but not getting stronger, from what I've read it can be quite common with subsequent babies due to a sensitivity to oxytocin surges in the body. And a longer latent phase is supposed to mean a shorter active phase. On spinning babies website it suggests that with long latent phases it can be a sign that baby isn't engaged or rotated in the right position but that it's normally first babies not subsequent babies! But it advises rest and eating well and usually when we'll rested and nourished labour will kick off. X

Thanks Tiggy :)
I've managed to get in to see a MW at clinic tomorrow to check baby's positioning. I've been having those tightenings for 10 days now :/
I just wish they would stop teasing me !!

Morning ladies and happy mother's day to everyone. .

I did have a good sleep up till the point of 6. But cudnt get back sleep now I feel wrecked.. cud do wth a wee snooze. .

Demaris not long for u now to have little one in ur arms..:)

Oh girlys I'm so stupidly emotional today. Keep bursting into tears. It's ridculous but I feel like my mind and body have failed me as baby isn't here and I really thought baby would be here by now, how ridculous as I'm not overdue! I just don't trust my instincts anymore :-( and feel like labour is most probably gonna be horrific after having a good first birth. Very negative and glum! Grrrr! Just had a good cry with my mum but still feel like I could just burst out again any moment! Xxx

Oh tiggy sweetie huge hugs xxx right with you there I've been crying all morning which is most unlike me. Try and get outside - I always find that helps xx
