*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

Everything eased off enough for me to get to sleep about half 4. Maybe it was a false start?
Mum has text me to ask if she should b going to work today or coming here. No doubt OH will be asking the same question. Meanwhile I'm lying in bed not knowing what's going on lol.

Oh Podpie and Nik I was really hoping things had happened for you both, hopefully today you'll have your babies :)
Congrats Rachel, I hope you're doing okay and your enjoying your cuddles.
I'm not sure and I think it's just me hoping but I think I've lost tiny bits of my plug but I'm really not sure. Can you lose it a bit at a time instead of all at once? I think it's more wishful thinking more than anything though xx

I think I've been losing mine gradually since my sweep. It doesn't always come away in one lump. I've had more streaky bits of it really and only one sort of 'lump' that I noticed in the bottom of the toilet bowl.

Achiness is ramping up again and I've had a couple of what might be described as contractions but not as strong as they were last night. Have sent OH to work with instructions to make sure Adam (his lift home) has his car keys in his pocket all day lol. Also got my mum on standby ready to drop everything at work and come over, with her little overnight bag safely in the back of her car ready and waiting!

Good luck Podpie, it definitely sounds like good progress and could kick off any moment! :-)

Good luck for your induction today nicknaknoo I'm sure It won't take much for them as your pretty dilated anyway :-)

Can't believe we have rachelb baby! Just give us another two today and we will be happy!

I'm going to look at nurseries in our local area this afternoon! We need to find one closer for my toddler as he is still at his old nursery 12 miles away. And we will ant a place for this baby next year too!

I can't believe that my baby isn't here.....I know baby isn't late but when my first came at 38+2 I was expecting similar this time around and so was everyone else. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed......especially as I was ready this time! Just got to plan lots of things over the next few weeks I reckon then baby might decide to show up! These babies are so unpredictable x

Awww huge congrats Rachel!! X

Come on Podpie and Nik! We want more babies!! :) x

Yes lovely birth story rachel apart from the bleed.she wasnt hanging around long in the end.

Now 2more wee babys to come along. I dont think it will be long for nik and podpie

I'm contemplating calling the hospital because baby's movements have been much less than they normally are. He's been quiet for the past couple of days and after seeing the midwife yesterday she told me to keep an eye and go in for a trace if he didn't perk up, but then of course I started getting pain etc so I kind of put it to the back of my mind. I've still felt movement but not as regularly as he normally would be dancing about, and reading online it says movements shouldn't change regardless of being in labour or not.
I'm just wondering now, should I be calling the labour line to tell them what's going on? Or should I ring the normal day assessment unit?

Podpie hmmm interesting question. You already spoke to labour ward, right? If so, maybe call them? Feels like if you spoke to them recently, you are now under their care more than under day unit?

Probably doesn't metter much anyway, whoever you call will be able to send you in the right direction x

My lo is also not moving as much as previously I don't think... Or maybe I'm getting paranoid. They checked his heartbit yesterday and it was fine. I didn't ask for a trace though. I'm so exhausted with this cold, couldn't think very straight. I guess I should have done...

I think also the problem is that I get many tightenings and sometimes I don't know if it is a BH I'm having or if he is stretching. It kinda feels similar. I definitely don't get many proper kicks now, but this must be because there is not so much space left....

Ring either podpie.. defo get checked out if ur concerned xx

Called labour line, they want me to go to day assessment to be monitored so I'm just waiting for my mum to get here to take me as I can't drive myself.

Hope all ok podpie.
Setting off for hospital in the next hour, signal isn't great there but will try and keep you updated. Wish me luck! Xx

Anyone want a clingy cat? He's driving me up the wall!! He keeps sitting on babys hospital bag almost like he's adamant that he's coming with us when we have to go lol xx

Good luck ladies! X

Lanny no sorry, a clingy dog and a shouty bird is enough for us for the moment :) x

Hi ladies,

Just got home. Was on the ctg for an hour cos baby was sleeping. Movements showed up on the trace but I still don't feel them so they've sent me home and if I don't feel anything by this evening I have to go for another trace tomorrow morning.
Contractions are back but mild, they were showing up on the trace too which is at least proof that they're contractions and I'm not imagining it lol.

Feeling a bit deflated if I'm honest... Thought it was all happening and now it's a bit of an anticlimax.
