*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

Im really not sure. I bottle things up. Thinks its knowing just how clkse we are to becoming parents and reality hit!!! Im like a pressure cooker....i build things up and then blow all of a sudden lol.

Rachel I feel exactly the same today! I've cried and cried- I'm blaming hormones and a full moon xx

I also get moments when it just feels too much... Too close, too real.

Good morning everyone. My toddler is coughing again, so we are all awake at 3.40 am... Great :-/

Hope you girls are having a better sleep than us! X

Oh dear Olya :( hope your little boy feels better soon.
Obviously my sleep isn't much better, I've had the most horrendous indigestion most of the night. Hope you other ladies have had more sleep xx

Sympathising with the lack of sleep. I lay awake most of the night unable to sleep, not helped by OH grunting every time he exhaled which was really getting on my nerves! I kept moving about noisily to try and wake him and eventually gave up and kicked him. He stopped... For five minutes!!
My hips are agony too and are cracking every time I move in bed. Hopefully it's a sign they're loosening up ready for baby's arrival!

Luckily I have no plans for today so soon as OH is off to work I'll be back to sleep with any luck. Feel like I need a catch up!

Podpie my oh has decided to sleep in our spare room due to my irrational emotional breakdown caused by his snoring the other night!

Got midwife at 11, hoping she will do a sweep and things kick off...3 days overdue now

Again with the not posting all of my post!

I have tickets for baby and toddler show tomorrow so think I'll hold onto my waters and let them go at that and hopefully get lots of freebies??!!

morning ladies.. 2nd last day at work for me.. so unreal that I finish up tomoro. ive been thinkin of that day for long time now its here. went for lunch with some of the girl's yesterday amd they gave me loads of wee presents, was awful good of them..
sleep, I keep wakening around 4am then my sinus keeps me wakened for ages but I manage to finally drift off again thank god.

niknaknoo hope she gives u ur sweep.. we are lackn march babies at the minute lol..

Awww sorry for you guys not sleeping, hope you can catch up on naps today. I'm sure it's body preparing you for night feeds.

Today is the gestation that my first boy was born 38+2...... I'm not feeling it's gonna be today or this week tbh! Maybe next week!

Good luck for your midwive nicknaknoo.

I'm having a lazy day today, yesterday I think the walking did me in as by the end of the day I was having awful groin pain and having to hold my bump to walk or stand!
We need someone to go into labour soon! X

Morning ladies :) I'm lying in bed listening to the birds singing outside after a 2 hour nap, I'm gonna get up soon because I'm starving! Sleep was somewhat evasive for me too, no particular reason just oddly waking up every hour or so. Hope all you ladies get some sleep at some point and I.love I hope your little boy feels better soon bless him.

Nothing extraordinary to report except that I really am getting fed up with being pregnant now, I want to lie on my front and have a glass of wine in the sun with a rare steak and be able to walk more than 100 yards without feeling my hips are going to break in half lol. I want to be able to DTD with the husband and actually move instead of lying like a beached wale in once position.....it's all selfish thoughts I know!!

I was thinking about contraception just now (at nearly 42 and having a surprise pregnancy my first thought is a pair of bricks for hubby!!). He won't consider a vasectomy and there is no way I am being sterilised, unless they can tie tubes if I end up having a c section. I was on the coil last year, but had to have it removed. I developed polyps and as they act as a natural contraception we never used anything until I had the operation, not knowing that conception can occur a few days before the op and hence that's what happened to me. So....I don't like taking hormones so I guess it's the coil again :/

I've been discussing contraception with my OH too. I'm only 25 and we'd like another baby one day just not yet lol so I'm looking for something easy and non-permanent.
This little man was a surprise as I was taking the pill at the time so now my partner has lost all trust in the pill so I don't think I'll be going back on it. The thought of the implant terrifies me and injections are a no no as well. I think I may go for the coil as my mum had one for years with no problems. Will be talking about it with my gp though!

I'm so uncomfortable all the time, I really can't wait to get baby out. I can't wait to sleep on my front, and just sit comfortably and be able to move and get up without groaning haha.
Obviously looking forward to all the baby cuddles too :)

Contraception......will def have to think about this. Came off the pill in 2012 after being on it for 10 years. I really noticed how much more relaxed and happy i was off the hormones. So relucant to go back onto any hormones. Thinking about copper coil but worried about them making my periods heavier as already normally have heavy ones. Anyone has the copper coil and them not make your periods heavier?

Hope your boy gets better iLove.xxx

I was also thinking about the coil when we go back to contraception. The only thing is that I said to my OH is that I will probably go back to the pill because when we try for number 2, I'll be so impatient and want to try then and there, if I have to wait to have a coil removed ill go mad. I definitely feel better off the pill though, and I've noticed I've actually lost weight.
Podpie I can understand why you wouldn't want the implant but if you want to know more then I had it for about 18 months so I can tell you how I got on with it :) xxx

Thanks! I'm a total wimp with needles so the thought of having a piece of rice shoved under my skin makes me cringe hahaha. Also one of my closest friends had it and her periods became so irregular and she'd bleed for weeks on end. Then when she went to have it removed they couldn't get it out! Aargh! The thought just gives me the willies lol!

Definitely a discussion I want to have with GP. I don't really want to go back on the pill, great as it was not having periods I just don't fancy it again!

Midwife was OK, she did a mini a sweep, said cervix wasn't too far back but still long and thick. Got one finger in and was able to feel baby's head but doesn't sound like labour is imminent. Hospital appointment Monday with Dr to discuss induction and another sweep...fingers crossed we won't make it to that though!

Fingers crossed nik, hope you're not waiting too long!

I've just had a text from my MIL "any sign of out grandson yet??" gonna have this every day now til he's here lol. I've already told her we'll call when there's news but they're so excited :)

Il prob just go on the pill again... or I may look into the coil as another option. I mind last time when I was bf my gp wouldnt give me mini pill as he said bf acts as contraception... I cudnt believe it. The amount people I knw who fell again whilst feeding . I had hv coming see us around then and I told her she was shocked too.. so I may app with doc when I knw my normal gp wasnt workn and got mini pill till I quit feeding and went on the combined one.
