Had my 38 week appt today. Found out all the info for the midwifery led unit. Am sooo hoping we can use it as it only opened 2 weeks ago!!!
Baby is still 2/5 engaged. But midwife reckons she pops her head further down at night time which is why I get a lot of pain and pressure.
When she felt my tummy she also reckoned it wouldnt be a big baby...fingers crossed lol
Hope its not too long now. My next appt has been booked for day after my due date. If not delievered by then we will discuss sweep and induction etc!!!

So exciting for all of you who are getting close I have my 36 week appt tomorrow and I'm hoping I get told that he's engaged, lots of people at work have said my bump has dropped, which is impressive when I was low anyway lol.
I've also had some weird pains and pressure, last night in the car they were so bad I was expecting to go into labour! But now I only have 3 more shifts at work to worry about xxx

Phwooooar my pains are being a right bugger tonight! Worst they've been so far. It's more constant than on and off though, so I think this May be baby moving downwards rather than practise contractions. OH keeps asking me if he should worry lol, I can't help but giggle at him! He's so adorable.

I have an unreal pressure tonight in my coccyx (tailbone) area. Its unreal. Doesnt matter if im sat on sofa or bouncing like tigger on my ball!!

I wish I could stop being wide awake in the middle of the night, still wake up when oh goes to work and then feel tired all day until the evening when I'm magically wide awake again!! I need to reset my body clock somehow and get more sleep...god knows I may be needing it any day now!!
Ah gosh my pains are getting worse! I've been wearing a pad the last 2 days because of losing my plug - glamorous! This morning I got up and like practically ran to the loo, I think all my plug has pretty much gone now lol! I had the worst period pains ever. Going to keep an eye on things today. LO is moving around in there this morning keeping me from going back to sleep, as well as the nice pain in my lady bits lol xx

Was wide awake when hubby got back from work last night at 00.45. I knew I wouldnt get to sleep in a hurry so....I worked my magic a bit....and well....i seriously hope it helps bring on labour...haha....enough said...but omg after no "ahem" for weeks it felt bloody amazing!!!!

Haha Rachel, I tried that last weekend with no joy yet! Will be trying some more this weekend too when my mum goes home for a couple of nights.
So midwife appointment yesterday she said there isn't much space left, there was no comment on size but I presume that means he is big! Also measuring 41 weeks apparently

Well ladies it's looking like my little man might arrive sooner than I thought! Waters have broken, awaiting OH to come back from work and up to the assessment unit I go. Having contractions about every 8 minutes. Think babys position is giving me the really bad back ache. Oh god I am running around like a headless chicken now but not getting very far! Phone charger is packed! X

Ah it didn't post all my post again!!
Had a bit of a panic as took midwife aaaaages to find heartbeat and normally find it straight away, was a different lady though and we got it eventually (phew!) so I'll let her off.
Today is a popular day for baby to arrive on the sweepstake we did! Hope it's right but no sign yet.

Good luck Sarah! My goodness these March babies are coming thick and fast and it's not March yet!! Will be thinking of you today
Well last night I had the worst nights sleep ever. I started to get stronger Brixton hicks, no pain just the tightening and it stopped me from sleeping. They went on till 3am, wasn't anything to be alarmed about but coupled with the back ache it was pretty uncomfortable. Then just as I was drifting off to sleep a car alarm went off, and this being a small village it was enough to wake the dead. Then I convinced myself a burglar was going to get in the house and so I had to switch the lights on-good job I'm sleeping on the couch downstairs right now lol. Finally fell asleep at 5ish and then my daughter woke me up at 5:30 to see if it was ok for her to use the shower!
I have my friend coming round for lunch and have just scoffed a massive chocolate truffle (home made in the shop the size of a golf ball) in the hopes it will keep me alert. That's me not testing my sugar this dinner time! Xx
