*** march 2015 mummys to be ***

Got really bad low pain again in my coccyx area. Cant get comfy even on the ball :(

Good luck Sarah!!! Hope it all goes smoothly for you! So exciting! Xx

My bouncy ball has broke :( it got too close to a heater and burst :( not sure what to do now - is it worth buying a new one at this stage? Considering my bubba is back to back...

I'm so excited I keep checking back lol... hope Sarah is coping OK or that by now baby might even be here!!!

I've been having more Braxton hicks today. I can't wait til it's my turn... :)

Flipping heck.. I havent had a good catchup on here few days as been flat out with work.. and I see sarah is in labour.. BEST OF LUCK :)

Went up to triage as baby hadnt been moving much all day....what does she do as soon as she is attached to the machine....go beserk lol. Got to go back Monday for a scan as this is the 2nd time I have had reduced movements!!!

Rachel oh these babies love making us worry over nothing don't they :) Well done for having things checked though - it was the right thing to do!

Glad all ok rach. They always do that! Perhaps they sense the change in environment?

Hope everything ok with Sarah.

Nothing going on here. I'm feeling really good to be honest. Been feeling well for nearly three weeks now! Which is a record as I spent weeks 6-35 feeling sick, stomach pains, fatigue and awful reflux meaning I wasn't sleeping or eating properly. Can't believe my last few weeks of pregnancy I feel completely 'normal' well pregnant obviously but actually feeling well :-)

Im so glad I went. I didnt feel silly at all when she moved about like mad.

Totally worth getting checked out Rachel. Glad baby is well.

Hope everything is going okay for Sarah xx

I'm glad everything is ok Rachel. Good that you went down! Little monkeys they are!

Hope all is with Sarah!xx

My left ribs are aching every evening. My bra hurts me I just be glad to whip it off.. starting to get uncomfortable now.. thank god friday will be my last day at work. I had a huge delivery this week and it was tough getting through it.. im off to a spa day tomoro so looking forward to it. Relax and get pampered and then me and my mum wil go for lunch after.

Hey ladies!
Sorry for the long wait. Little baby Jake decided to enter the world today! Born at 7.10pm, weighing 7.8oz. He is gorgeous! Natural labour, nice and torn below but all stitched up now - 2nd degree tear. He is currently sleeping next to me whilst OH has popped out to get some form of dinner/sandwich as I packed crisps and chocolate lol! It's all so surreal. I will update more tomorrow but my waters went at 7am. No gush or anything I just knew the period pains were strong when I woke up, went and sat on the toilet, my bowels emptied and then water just kept coming out of me lol. Phoned delivery they said come in for an assessment. Waiting for OH to come home and we went up the hospital about an hour later. She told me I was 1cm dilated and to go for a walk. Like hell was I going anywhere at 1cm my contractions were every 2 minutes! Was planning a water birth do moved to a nice room. Had a shot of pethadine an hour later at only 2cm dilated!! 2 hours after that I was practically on full on pushing labour. Everyone was rushing around me but I had the good old urge to push! They wheeled me straight downstairs and that was it, 3 hours later little baby Jake was born. I tried breastfeeding as I had planned to bottle feed but thought i would give it a go. Glad I did but felt it really wasn't for me and as I had my doubts on if I wanted to do it but I'm glad I tried. He has now had a bottle and snoozing like a trooper. Will get back to your posts tomorrow as im going to have a well deserved munch up. Couldn't be more prouder, pethadine was all I had, and a few mouthfuls of gas and air which just made me feel sick. No other pain relief. Even the injections for sowing up my tears was pretty pain free compared to the head crowning lol! You can all do it girls :) xxx (excuse the spelling mistakes I really can't be bothered to proof read all my auto correct mistakes lol at this time of night) xx

Aww well done Sarah! You trooper. I bet it's all such a hazy bliss at the moment.
Enjoy every second! Congratulations xx

Xx

Congrats beautiful! Xxx I know exactly what you mean about the head crowning, but it's a pain easily forgotten isn't it? For what my 2 cents is worth- ur stitches will almost certainly be sore but keep up with pain relief, keep your bum cushioned & don't over do it- I'm 4 days PP and I feel great despite having a major 2nd degree tear xxx

It is indeed GF. Well worth it all. OH has been so good as I've been finding it awkward to move around as far as sitting then getting up goes. They given me paracetamol this morning. Think I've had one and a half hours sleep lol. Can't wait for us to all get home xx

Congratulations Sarah. Well done on your birth of your son Jake! I hope you can get home soon. I remember that surreal feeling well. Xxxx
