Hello everyone

We survived the first night at home. Wasn't easy - I'm getting only short naps and J seems to be windy and uncomfortable. And breastfeeding bloody hurts! Makes me cry out in pain and bite my lip. I am pretty sure I'm doing everything right and it's just because I have sensitive nipples, so hope this will get better in a few days.

Where is my gas and air?? Lol

Congratulations ladies on the new arrivals! Absolutely gorgeous!

Reuben is still doing well. He lost a fair bit of weight at his 5 day weigh in, so I'm hoping he'll have put a good amount back on at our 10 day check tomorrow. His breastfeeding has really improved so fingers crossed he'll be putting on weight soon!
We're struggling a little bit with trapped wind at the moment, feels like I'm trying anything to get him to burp/fart but it just seems to take its time and come out when it's ready. Unfortunately I have a grumpy baby to handle in the mean time.

Yes things gettn so quiet now but hard to keep top of it when babies are here. No baby toddler group made yet but be nice for that and to also join the april mummys.
Nona do u think its a back ache cud lead to something eventuality. . Be great if u went on ur own before wed.. well my texts with relation has baba arrived yet has begun.. same person 2days in a row... any sign or any niggles lol... I guess im not only one excited but il give it a week they it probably piss me off lol

Podpie lovely to hear from u. Have u tried burping by holdn baby and moving in a cicle. It always worked for us ..Well most the times.. u can see video of it on youtube.

Hey ladies,
I can honestly say I have no idea who has had their babies and who hasn't now lol. Jake is certainly keeping us occupied for sure! The second I put him down to sleep I am either sleeping myself or running around like a mad woman. The health visitor was over this morning just to do a weigh in, Jake was 7lb 8 when born and 3 weeks 3 days on he is 9lb 5. What a little porka lol but he does drink for England! Midwife had advised us to give him Infacol for his trapped wind as he seemed quite bad and touch wood it has worked wonders! Took a good few days to start working but he is so much better now. One night he slept for 7 hours!!! Average is 3-4. I hope all of you are enjoying your babies. I will try and catch up when I can xxxx

I went shopping today.. ended up getting a new phone..

Nonabean I had a heavy painful back in the 24 hrs before my labour started. Hope it means something for you would be lovely to not have to be induced. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

We're home now, had to stay in last night as Oscar was struggling to feed but obviously no real problems as we got asked if we would like to go home today. He's much better at feeding though he does seem to go a few hours in between. The midwives said i have a lot of colostrum so that might be why I guess. Breastfeeding is pretty hard work but it's so rewarding when I know he's all sleepy and full xxx

I'm grand.. nothing much happening unfortunately. Watch revenge here so going to get the ball out and start bouncing on it as haven't went on it on few days.

I've arranged a play date for tomorrow afternoon, seeing as it looks like this wee monkey just isn't ready at all!

And in 36 hours I'll be getting induced! I am actually very excited about this, as it means hopefully it won't be too long after that that my wee baby is here. Xxx

Ur little monkey is being a naughty rascal nonabean.. I'm hoping Wednesday when they go give me my sweep it's helps. Hope they don't tell me cervix not favourable I will be bit disappointed but I know it cud happen

Wow ladies you are still waiting for your little ones. It feels very strange as my boy is now 5 weeks. In fact this time 5 weeks ago I was chugging away happily on my gas and air lol. Hope you do t have much longer to wait.

I'm only due tomorrow so I knew that I would go the whole 40 weeks now just gotta see how far I go over. I've it n my head maybe 1st April. But all depends how tomorrow goes and if cervix is favourable at all.
I didn't sleep well lastnite at all. Think I've been awake this 4.30am finally gave in and got up came down to watch telly.

I actually managed to get some sleep last night so feel human today, for the first time in about a week.

Good luck ladies, hope things move soon, Oliver is 5 weeks today, can't believe it, he is very poorly with this awful cold, had it 3 weeks now, I tried everything I can to try and help him but nothing is working, seems to be getting worse I finally managed to get a Dr appointment for later today, starting to think it might be on his chest now as he seems to have a bit of a cough now too . No one had a cold around him, don't know how he got it
