*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Keep an eye on that movement Belfa and be sure to phone MAU if you aren't happy. Always trust your instincts on that one.

Ahhh yes nearly fully cooked! How mental is that. Forgot about being full term at 37 weeks!

Haha well if anyone comes up with any exciting batch cooking dinners then please do share :-)

My nursery furniture is finally all finished!! :) just spent an hour sorting all his clothes into colours ready to wash. I have a white wash in now! This baby has far too much!!

My nursery still isn't finished, everything is just shoved in and not organised at all at then moment but I just love it! I'm sat in my rocking chair now feeling excited!!!

Rested all day today and had no Contractions but as soon as I was up and walking round they started.

Yep Belfa Defo ring up to be sure. :) I had days like that and my dr said it was when babies feet were under my ribs. Since he's dropped its like he's trying to kick his way out of there!!

I feel like my baby constantly has hiccups. I can feel it very low behind my pubic bone mainly, very cute :) haha xx

Pismo it's June 21st. It's exciting as v likely bubba will be here by then.

If you like mac n cheese colettypie my recipe is lush and re cooks amazingly.

Try taking things as easy as you can charlie.

I think bump has dropped, hubby noticed its a different shape tonight. And I can breathe... I think I'm gonna call up first thing in morning get checked out as still unsure about movements. Hoping baby in different position if bump now dropped.

Thanks for that Lucy! Let us know how you get on this morning, have the movements gone back to normal yet?

xx

I felt baby a bit last night but I rang and they have sent me up to day assessment again to hook up to monitor anyway. As the midwife said on our antenatal class they would rather see 20 women where baby is ok and be safe.

Hope all goes okay Lucy. I am keeping a watchful eye today too. If I look at my bump I can see it move, it's like he is pressing his hands and feet in to my back and pushing himself out my bump? Felt more movement this morning though than I did yesterday.

Apparently my colleagues are glad I'm stopping at 36weeks as no one thinks I'll make 40weeks going by my size. Well, if bump size dictated when you dropped then I think I'd rather that than be a whale at full term! x

Yep, they'll never turn you away, I went in quite a few times with my first. I put it off this time around though as Ive no-one to look after dd

Well I'm back home now, all is ok although baby's rate started really high at 160 but then settled down, mine was high too for a bit. It was strange as the midwife could see on monitor baby was moving but I couldn't feel it. Apparently head down but not engaged yet and feet are really high even though bump dropped a bit. I guess I'm quite nervous with kicks as my cousin lost a bubba at 38 weeks, he would have been 12 now. So sad.

If you are unsure Belfa always worth getting checked out. Good you can see the movement though.

Aww buggy, if you were worried ever could you not take DD with you? There were a couple of people with their young children.

No way. She wouldn't sit still while I was on a monitor for half an hour or longer!

Baby has been moving more again since late morning so not too worried. I know they have their lazy days. Would have to get OH home from work if it was really bad. I just know if it was my first I'd be in already lol

With this and my first I always got comments on bump size, people couldn't believe how big I was DD and got asked a few times if I was carrying twins! I still went 8 days over

Glad all ok Lucy. I have found baby generally quieter the last few days but more in that I think space is just getting a bit limited in there as the movements are different, lots mroe hiccups and stabbing movements down low. Not too worried though as got another scan tomorrow.

My bump has gone a bit wierd though the last coupel of days. Think baby must be laying quite far back at the bottom as the top is still sticking out and hard but unless I lay down the bottom of my bump is all flabby. Yet on the whole I know bump has started to drop as I can feel a lot more pressure down below when I walk (think I am starting to get a little bit of a waddle. All very wierd when it is your first and you don't really know what is normal for your body to do. X

Just back from 36 week app, midwife wrote in notes that baby is 4/5 in the engaged section, does this mean 4/5 of baby's head is in pelvic area or that she can still feel 4/5 above? Google tells me both!

Next app is at 38+5 to discuss birth plan!! Argh!

Yeah it means they can feel 4/5ths of babies head above your pelvis :)

Ok thanks, so just starting to engage... Gotcha :) thanks xx

Will have a good nosey in my notes when I get home, my midwife didn't comment on LOs position other than to ask me if I thought he/she was head down...

Been bouncing on my birthing ball like crazy so hopefully baby will be well and truly downing there next appointment :Don't

Xx

How big does your ball have to be? My gym ball is small since I'm short but DH thinks it won't be big enough for my hips to be above my knees when it's blown up. Would help if he actually did blow it up to check!

Is anyone struggling to stay awake at work? Granted I'm pretty bored anyway as my projects are coming to an end but I could almost cry at the thought of having to stay here for another 1.5hrs until home time x

I'm noticing what Charlie said now, about the tightenings. Didn't really notice any yesterday and wasn't very active but I've been moving around more today and getting them a lot again! Might crack my ball out later when DD is in bed ;)

My gym ball is 65 cm. I'm quite tall Tho, but find it a good height for me.

Ahhhh last day of work tomorrow. I can't believe where the time has gone! Feeling a bit scared and overwhelmed!! xx
