*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Lucky you coletteypie, I wish I was finishing now. Got to go in Fridays to handover now as for some reason I've got to fit in around my replacement and not the other way around! In which case I won't be able to make my mw appointment next week, she only does 2.5 days and it's hard enough to catch her as it is!

How is everyone today? Interesting election results. It's not my ideal outcome but it could have been a lot worse!

I'm feeling really tired today, also feeling light-headed and quite sick, generally not right. Got to be in the office all day too :(

I have full on morning sickness again! It was awful at the start, faded by about 20 weeks and now I'm back to full flow - it's awful! X x

I'm not being sick, thank goodness, I can't stand it but I feel really queasy!

My gym ball is 65 cm. I'm quite tall Tho, but find it a good height for me.

Ahhhh last day of work tomorrow. I can't believe where the time has gone! Feeling a bit scared and overwhelmed!! xx

Have a great last day at work!! :) x

Belfa - I'm 5ft1 (and a half) but got the 65cm ball (pro fitness one from argos) as I'm fairly sturdy (now weighing in at 12st 3lbs!!!) :) and have found that it keeps my hips above my knees - Not sure the smaller one would.

Feeling ok today. But definitely noticed I am now full on waddling and getting more uncomfortable by the day.

x

How strange! I've been up most of the night being sick and feeling awful!! I've had to come with my sister to hospital as she's having a minor op today. I cannot wait and get home to bed, my hands and feet are swollen up bad today too :( my carpal tunnel is getting worse and worse by the day too!
Really not feeling too good :( xx

Oh dear ladies! Sorry you're not feeling well, can't be nice to have sickness returning. Buggy, that's how I feel sometimes and I put it down to my blood pressure so maybe keep an eye on it?

Thanks Pismo, think I'll get a bigger ball then so I can get a good bounce going ;).

Enjoy your last day Coletteypie. They hired a graduate trainee as my replacement who is super keen which is good but towards the end of the day I get a bit bored of being asked what else he can do. He's also doing all my work without me asking which I know sounds like a godsend but it's fired out without me getting to look at it first either and it's my credibility it affects if it's wrong.

The elections were good for me, primarily because one of my good clients won a (very important) seat meaning I get to recruit their replacement x

I still have two weeks to go :/ I'm feeling fine though so shouldn't complain!

Belfa I know what you mean about having someone shadow you. My replacement is only working three days a week until I leave, so she's off today. She's a really nice girl but I must admit it's nice to have my little office to myself again! Xx

Has anyone's discharge changed colour? Granted I've had discharge all the way through and have to wear a panty liner constantly so I know not everyone will but when I went to the loo there it was orange! x

I've had brown Belfa, maybe even a bit yellow but not orange! Not sure what that's all about!

Bubba back to normal today, compared to how things were the past few days. They are back to their wacky movements which I love.

Belfa I always feel sleepy by the afternoon at work but they have been really good lately, I told them I am feeling it now so will let me go if I am knackered. It's good the old witch isn't in our office any more, she wouldn't ever let us go even when everything done even though she wasn't even in charge. Also I can't say I've had discharge like that although it's got thicker and have to wear a liner too now.

I've been bouncing loads on my ball too, plus the sofa isn't as comfy as my ball..lol I've got the waddle too..

That's not good buggy, it's annoying as surely your work should be more accommodating with antenatal/midwife appointments.

Colettypie enjoy your maternity leave, I'm almost there...

Charlie hope you feel better soon. Don't overdo it.

Just thought would check in with yous all. Had my mw appt yest, babys unstable lie transverse. Even though other ladies including may mummys on here have been admitted at 36weeks with transverse lie due to the risks, my mw didnt say much and made an appointment for two weeks (38weeks). Due to the risks which im now aware of if i went into labour or waters broke, im feeling rather worried. Rung hosp who have brought my next appt forward from due date to 38wks. Doesnt provide much comfort, so just have to hope baby turns head down soon or that nothing happens till im next seen. So much for a stress free pregnancy and on track for a vbac. Hope the rest of yous are keeping well and babies are all getting head down x

Sorry to hear that Heres Hoping. I though baby was head down? Did they move or have I got mixed up? Hopefully they will turn for you, did they say anything about turning manually?

My boss has just suddenly said that I can't work Saturdays, I've been doing it so I can have Wednesdays off. He's been such a dick to me lately!!

Scan time again. Getting slightly sick of seeing the inside of my hospital the last couple of weeks and the parking cost is extortionate. Better than being at work on a friday afternoon tho I suppose as get to see my little bubs again. Lets just hope he/she has had a little bit of a growth spurt.

Sorry to hear some of you girls suffering symptoms wise and at work. My work are amazing so cant complain but cant wait for the 27th when I finish as getting tired now. Got a little bit of a waddle going on too now which has made some of the girls at work giggle. X

Baby was head down at 34wk scan but its since moved. I had a feeling cos was getting little limbs sticking out to my right side which was confirmed to be its feet. It was com mw so nothing was said about what will happen next, just she'll see me in 2 weeks and if still same then she'd refer me over to hosp which i feel is a bit laxadaisey. I did have a section last time cos of breech so now my mind is in overdrive wondering if its me, my pelvis too small or something. Im really worried about going myself before then cos of the associated risks. Feeling really shit about it now tbh x

Ahhhhh last day done. I am officially on mat leave! And now I'm scared lol!

Work shadowing is not fun at all!! I've not enjoyed it... So can totally sympathise with a few of you saying you aren't having too much fun! My cover is really nice as well - so can't imagine how much harder it is if they are difficult!

Here's hoping - I saw your thread. I think jessie and Durham have given you really good info, but please don't let any of it panic you. Different health boards must have different approaches. But I would agree that you need to make sure you are comfortable with what they have recommended. So you are seeing them again in 2 weeks? Are you using your ball (if you have one) at all? That will be best thing to get baby out of transverse. My baby has been transverse once - and I managed to get them to move by the next day. I think we have a mum on this thread who has had a transverse baby the whole time (Racheyroo maybe?), and that is a very different situation - that's a stubborn wee baby. But your baby isn't adverse to sitting head down - so you can do it!! And try to keep calm about it. If they were really worried then you would have been taken in.

Sorry so many of you not feeling great. This last stretch is hard work isn't it? I had a headache last night (didn't tell my hubby) and swelling. So am keeping an eye on it cos my BP might be up again. However when this happened before it disappeared after a day or so, so will just take it easy.

Xx

Heres Hoping, apparently kneeling on all fours makes more room for baby so they're likely to move around then. Could always give that a try,

Thanks, just been worrying a lot today, feel in foul mood. Hormones prob arent helping! Ive been using my ball any way as find its more comfortable than sitting on sofa so will keep that up and hope for best. Have been bouncing, rocking, doing circles and figures of 8, dont think theres any other exercises ive missed? Will try the kneeling as well buggy, good thinking.

Was feeling upset earlier about it all but think thats what happens when your at home all day and no one to vent to. Fingers crossed baby doesnt get too comfy and I'll get them shifted soon x
