*** June 2015 Mummies ***

Have you felt baby shift back? Where are you kicks happening? Your tummy will look funny if baby is transverse still.

Yup think you have it all covered. You are doing all you can. Is really rubbish for you to have such uncertainty. Chin up here's hoping - all that hard work is bound to pay off. Your baby hasn't been transverse before so odds are on that they were having a naughty moment and have switched to another position already.

Are you girls feeling huge yet? I feel like I have ballooned the past week or so. Lots of people have commented to remind me as well... So kind of them :-/

Anyone got or thinking of a baby carrier? I seem to be the full Stokke mum - with pram, car seat and high chair. But didn't wanna just get the carrier for the sake of it! Is pretty expensive and wondered if more cost effective ones are just as good? xx

Baby was transverse before at previous scans, 34wks was first it was head down which i was so pleased about. I havent felt any moves back yet, kicks have been low, got the little jab sticking out of my right side again which must be a foot stretching. Hate the uncertainty but will try keep positive it'll work out in the end x

I've bought a babybjorn carrier, I'm going on holiday in Wales end of July so mainly because of that but think it'll be handy going for little walks too :) xx

Yep its me who has a transverse one! But Im only 33 weeks so it isnt a huge issue yet.

Look at spinning babies website Hereshoping and try the inversions. Plus lots of ball bouncing and all fours. Ive been doing all of it for weeks and no luck but I don't know that mine has ever been head down, am sure yours will shift back soon. I would call again if you don't feel safe - I can't advise as not sure what my hospital policy is if transverse at 36 weeks but I have done some reading and can see that lots of places would admit you to be on the safe side. The little jabs coming out one side does sound like it might be transverse though, that is what i have had all along. I get a pushing sensation on one side (maybe the head?) then a solid middle of my tummy, with kicks/squirming movements on the other side.

Collettey I have the close caboo and it is lovely! Was on offer on nct the other day too.

My cousin is due two weeks before me has been admitted to hospital with high bp, headaches and swelling. She'll be there until baby is born. Feel so sorry for her, I couldn't cope big stuck in hospital!

Also finished my last day at work! So happy I can sleep for the next month haha!

I got a babasling, I think it looks easier to use and comfortable for you both. We had a carrier from Mothercare with DD but it had several clips on it and was a pain getting her in and out of on your own, it was a bit of a two man job! This time I wanted something a bit more simple.

Your boss sounds like an arse Buggy.

Hereshoping I'm exactly the same, sofa so uncomfortable now. I'm living on my ball.

People keep commenting how neat my bump is. Some even say I'm small but I'm bang on... My mum came round today and all she could see was my bump, haha.

I feel huge, have taken to waddling everywhere and often need to slow down/stop :)

Have been looking at carriers for a while - Will probably go for a close caboo/close caboo DX but will wait until little one is here before purchasing.

Have been having regular Braxton hicks all day, two and hour or so and more if I am walking around or being active in some other way. There not painful, wouldn't even say they are uncomfortable as such, they are just very noticeable.

What are every ones plans for the weekend?

x

I like the stokke one too Coletteypie, I am basing that on no experience of course but found a few review blogs which recommended it too. I think I like it because it looks quite unisex for both DH and me to use.

Here's hoping id be the same in your shoes. I can't stand up for myself so would have probably walked away not questioning anything then go wild on google when I got home! Maybe if you feel any changes in movement you should call triage and they might take it more seriously?x

I'm loving waddling, it's so much quicker to get around than trying to walk properly .

Tomorrow we are picking out pram up so I'm excited about that though I know it will make me want to have my baby here to put in it! I also want to get my wall stickers sorted and probably my hospital bag started x

I have started to get a waddle going on too. Lots of fanny daggers too. Baby seems to be quite low down already from the scan today.

Still measuring just over 10th percentile so going to have a nice dinky baby by the looks of things. X

All I do is waddle with fanny daggers and BH. Feel like I'm walking with a ball between my thighs sometimes too.

Random comment of the day: I saw some handy fold away bags in paperchase the other day. They have quite big clips on them so looked good for keeping clipped on your pram for days when you need a bit more storage.

I am going to get one due to the plastic bag charge in Scotland so had been looking at them and then I thought the clip was good for a pram as it's quite sturdy.

They look good belfa. Have you ever seen the mummy clips you can buy too for the pushchair? I have one of them.

Thanks girls. Im going to see how it goes, if i feel unwell at all or have any pains im going to ring the hosp and land myself over there. I'll just be a major pain in the butt! Pregnancy is so nerve wracking and unpredictable, i will be glad when babys here safe and sound. My friend pointed out tonight if i need another section baby could be here in two weeks...scarey!

Seems like the May thread is getting busy, i feel a baby boom coming on. That will be this thread soon enough, does that make any one else feel a bit nervous?? x

I feel a bit nervous about it but only because last time I went through labour our baby was born early/not alive so it was an unpleasant experience to say the least. Like you say it's nerve wracking, I feel more aware of what can go wrong this time around, where as it never occurred to me really that anything bad would happen with DD.

I'm still excited to meet baby though, and have them here safe. Also looking forward to the pregnancy being over, I've not enjoyed it. With DD I cried when I thought about her being outside of my body and having to share her with people, but I don't feel the same this time around.

I feel sooo far away from labour! I'm due 2nd June but had no Beaton hicks, no tightening a, no fanny daggers, no nothing! Feels like I have months to go rather than 3 and half weeks!! X

Aw Buggy thats totally understandable you'd feel that way, what an awful experience for yous. I dont have good pregnancies either so i wont be missing it either. Think having a big bump when running after a toddler as well is too much hard work!

Karen im 2nd june too but i feel so uncomfortable and get cramps/pains randomly. Would love to have the energy to get everything finished off and organised. Im having a real lazy phase at the moment x

I feel like the odd cramp or pain may reassure me my body is at least getting ready Lol! Bet I'll be complaining soon that I'm getting them :) first time pregnancy I just don't know what to expect I guess x
