In my file GG but she said I'm on the green pathway. So angry with them. I hate feeling helpless. Found a scan they have reassurance scans and dating scans. But only a dating scan available do you think I'm okay to book that one and just pretend it's for dating? Can get it for Sunday xx

I'd go for anything. Just make sure baby is OK in there x

Scan booked for 12 Sunday. Spotting now. I have a bad feeling I can't shake. Going to be a long weekend to find out if baby is okay or not.

Jem tell them you've had cramps and bleeding or just go straight round so they can't fob you off on the phone xxx

oh Shanivy and Jemrose I'm so sorry you're having a tough time I can't imagine the stress of being told to wait and see.

Oh Shan I really hope it's nothing and you get reassurance at your scan.

I haven't bled since but if I do I'll go to A&E although tbh i don't have much trust in the system at the moment x

Everything I eat today tastes of salt and it's disgusting. We just had a pub dinner, I had a chicken burger and thought Ew it tastes like I'm drinking from the sea, OH had a bite and said it doesn't taste salty at all. I've just had some ice cream and even that tasted salty! What is going on? I've heard the old wives tale about craving salt means boy and craving sweet means girl, but never heard anything about tasting salt all the time (doesn't taste nice either)

Ladies, I couldn't have the tests done at my scan cos obviously the baby was in a ridiculous position so they told me to have the blood tests done at my 16 week appointment for downs, does this include the other tests aswell? X

I couldn't have mine done either yesterday. They said at 16 weeks I can have blood test for downs but they can't check the other two. I can pay private for the harmony test they've said which is £350 which will check all 3 plus the sex but it's just alot of money that we don't have

For the past couple of days I've thought I can feel the off flutter but ibwasnt sure if it was the baby or just in my head.

Shan, if it gets worse, go straight to A&E. The E being for emergency...I'm pretty sure the threat of miscarriage is an bloody emergency. Fingers crossed it's just a random breakthrough bleed. Xx

morning Ladies! I hope both jemrose and shanivy have managed to get some sleep. how are you both this morning?

I'm getting so excited to find out the gender. I've got my scan on 5th Feb. a friend of mine casually mentioned I could get a scan next week for £40 which ignited a twinkle in my eye but I'm not going to, saving my money for the beautiful handmade cot mobile I've got my eye on

I must be starting to feel better, after a few weeks with zero motivation I managed a 2 mile walk yesterday with DD and 45 mins digging in the garden. also suddenly planned loads of activities for this weekend and next week. it's put me in a good mood as until yesterday I barely looked 6hours ahead. off for a day out with husband and DD today, I'm also caving and going to go to the pizza shop tonight for the cheap ham and pineapple pizza I've been craving for weeks

Hope both Shan and Jem are fine! At this stage of pregnancy, after good dating scan the risk is so low... I hope it is just a random bleed x

Shep that's fantastic! Use your energy as much as possible, I bet you were sick and tired with the lack of motivation... I know i am!!!

I would be so tempted to spend the money on gender scan and get it earlier lol but that's me! I have to pay anyway so we are getting one on 3rd Feb for £39 so not too bad.

Lol jem, I use the 'fun and games' comparisons to. I like the hand and foot. The foot thing is fairly new, only came in when I was like 30 weeks with dd x
