****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

Keep getting pain near my hip bones then spreads around to my sides and shoots up abdo, more lainful when I wee.. Normal or no? X

Think so I get the same. As well as getting in and out the car or moving too quickly x

Mines constant now :/ standing up makes it worse might just be round ligament tho unsure if it's more painful second time round x

Yeah I guessed mine was the ligament thing. It's started happening for no reason too lol x

I'm sure I can feel baby moving sometimes! I thought being bigger I wouldn't feel anything for ages. Felt like some fluttering so I pressed where I felt it and then felt it again?! Is it baby? No idea! I told a friend and she said no way I'd feel anything now x

Jem this is not meant to sound in anyway patronising but if you think you can feel baby then go with it. it could be it might not be but I'm sure it lovely and comforting for you to feel your baby.

it's something that actually bugs me a bit people saying you can't possibly feel baby at X weeks. I couldn't feelmy DD until 21 weeks, this time I got my first quickenings at 13 weeks and I was told it was impossible. I diddidn't feel it loads but as a second time mum I know what I felt and actually the opinion of my SIL didn't matter. I'm quite slim and suffer bad with IBS and feel I certainly know when my digestive system is making gas bubbles. I'm 15 weeks now and feel baby most days, just for a few minutes at lunchtime and again when in get into bed. haven't felt anything for a day or two atm but baby will just be the other way

sorry if that turned into a rant haha. you take comfort from feeling your baby and enjoy it

Good luck shan, fx. X

Had a dream I has triplets! 2 girls and a boy oh my goodness I was getting stressed aha. X

Can't stop thinking about Shan....really hope the scan today has been able to reassure that everything is okay. Xxx

Ladies I tried coming on 3 times earlier when I was out but my data wouldn't work properly and then my stupid stupid phone went dead. Thanks so much for the replies advice and reassurances the other day when I was going out of my mind with worry.

Saw the babies heartbeat today. Baby seems fine. I was so relieved to see that heartbeat honestly. This pregnancy is going to take years off me.

I bled like I told you all, then spotted until about 3am. Then turned brown and stopped the next morning. I hate that nobody would examine me so I have no explanation for it. Had shooting pains today that feel like they're going up near my cervix. I'm sure I had this before with DD but just so paranoid. Think I'm a bit sore from the scan too  Going to phone midwife tomorrow and see if I can get an exam. If not, just get the doctor instead. For my peace of mind at least that nothings going on with my cervix. I'm so paranoid and I hate it!! Think I've lost faith with the midwives tbh, fair of me to say or not.

Anyway! Went in for the Babybond scan & it turned out to be the same woman who scanned me for my 1st NHS dating scan at the hospital. She remembered me being Irish and the baby being stubborn. Very stubborn again, kept turning on it's tummy, facing down. She was brilliant though, which just shows you, because I didn't think much of her scanning the 1st time.

Couldn't get a good pic but she did get to show me the heartbeat, hands, fingers, legs on the big screen. And it yawned, stretched, kicked and turned over in the screen. Can't stop thinking about it. I'm not a big crier and I've never cried at scan before, but I did today. Didn't really see much of anything in the other scans tbh. I'm all over the place today. She said baby looked fine though. Measuring 14+4

It was supposed to be a 10 min scan but she gave us about 30 mins. Tried everything to get to see a decent profile.

In the end she gave me a free 3D scan so I could see the baby's face. Tbh it was clearer on the screen in colour lol.

So anyway, here's my little awkward, stubborn, picture shy baby in 3D. Hand in front of its face as usual

So glad everything is fine!!! Definitely talk to your midwife there must be an explanation for this bleeding and pains! x

Thanks hun me too. It's been so different than my last one and it's thrown me. Thought I'd be a pro at this. Phoning in the morning. Can only get an appointment with the midwife on Fridays so may just go with doctor xx

Oh and JemRose glad yours turned out to be nothing xx

I'm so glad baby is okay shanivy! that's a cute scan picture. I hope they are able to find something when pure examined to put your mind at rest

Thanks Shep. I'm probably paranoid but hey ho. Was very strange seeing such an early 3d lol xx

Oh Shan, what a huge relief for you and gorgeous scan picture.

Do prepare yourself for never getting an answer for the bleeding. My midwife had a mum bleed heavily for 3 weeks, loads of examinations and scans, baby fine, never found the cause of the bleeding.
