****July 2018 Mummies - Tri 2****

Thanks GG, and thanks for your common sense rational post the other night too lol. I don't think I will get an answer tbh.

It's just that it was a shock being in 2nd tri (plus the 3rd time) that I honestly thought they'd bring me in for it. I'm trying to start relaxing back into being pregnant without freaking out everytime I go to the bathroom. Also 3 weeks?! Jesus xx

Hope you're all feeling good today xx

Thanks ladies! Xx

Jem glad your bleeding wasn't anything serious. How has OH been? xx

Well i did have another bleed yesterday, but I really am putting it down to being sore and thrush. Bought some canesten cream and pessary today so hopefully that will clear it up.
OH is back to normal again xx

Ahh did you hun sorry I must have missed that. Thrust def can cause bleeding if it irritates your cervix. I had thrush with dd a few times it was a bloody nightmare to get rid of. Fx the cream works. I think I used the pill too in the end? Good to hear he's being better xx

Saying that I'm bleeding again now. I really don't know if it's due to soreness or what :( ahh x

Yeah just like bright red blood when I wipe. But can't work out if it's coming from inside or just around where it's sore x

Maybe phone midwife hun and ask what they think. I can't see it and after my weekend I certainly wouldn't want to advise you to ignore it or say for certain what it is. It's very probably from the thrush though so don't panic. You could have a lot of irritation. Maybe getting them to give you the pessaries might work quicker for you. Especially if you're that sore. Give them a call xx

Well I did on Friday when it first happened and they said nothing they can do and call 111 if it gets worse but basically just wait and see.. Helpful x

That's ridiculous! I don't understand how they've say that for bleeding in 2nd tri.

Actually maybe you should phone 111 because they will prob tell you to go in. Which means you might get a check anyway. If it were me I'd exaggerate the bleeding on the phone and say you've have pain. If I ever bleed again I'm going in they're fucking useless on the phone xx

Yep she even said oh well I have no idea why you'd bleed at 14 weeks.... Okay then check it out thick bitch!!! Haha.
Well I have had most of last week off work so I worry about anymore time off. I will use the cream and pessary tonight and if it keeps happening I will go see doctor tomorrow x

Wow ffs nice of her to reassure you like that :wall2:

Okay hun hopefully the cream works then and just keep an eye out. Xx

Jem, Shan is right to advise calling 111. If they advise you to be seen, they can make sure it happens. I called once ages ago as doctors wouldn't see Dan after he'd put an axe in his knee. He'd been to hospital, they did a crap job, it burst and spilled 1/2 pint fluid over the floor a few days later and it was between Christmas and New Year. No nurses at the GP and no GP would do a re-dressing or check. Walk-in centre had no nurses to do it, didn't want to go to A&E, so called 111 to find out what to do. They said to call Gloucester A&E. I did...immediately after calling and they were great and said to go on down. Got there, went to reception and they had a note on the system to instruct exam and redress.

If you call 111, I am very confident shit will get done!

Really do think it's the thrush as well, but best to get it sorted and I'd honestly want to speak to my midwife before using any pessaries anyway.

Hi ladies

I’m 14 weeks tomorrow so time I moved over here I think! Due 10th July. Sickness is subsiding and now my symptoms are headaches, cramps and being emotional! I cried on Saturday because I was hungry!

Hope everything gets sorted for you Shan and jemrose

morning all, nice to see someone else over here Katy!

how are you this morning Jemrose?

DD and I have been hit with a cold. we went out for a lovely lunch with husband yesterday and DD had a cough but over lunch suddenly was very tired and not hungry so I said on the way back I'd pop to Tesco and get some cough medicine and calpol. by the time I got to Tesco my throat was so sore and my head banging. stocked us up on cough medicine (child and pregnant friendly) and some kids vics rub. fingers crossed we shake it quite quick. last pregnancy when I had a cold it lasted ages and needed antibiotics for the cough after 3 weeks

no rest for the wicked though I've got sheep work today, hopefully the fresh air will help

got my 16 weeks midwife app this week, wish I could just skip the next few weeks and get to my scan

Welcome to Tri 2 Katy! Hopefully soon enough all the annoying symptoms go away x

Shep, colds seem to be never ending with us! I hope you feel better, I know you have to work but try and take it easy x

Jem, the pessary should do the job but if not then don't bother with the midwife and book a GP app x

Welcome to tri 2 katybaby  Good riddance to first trimester! Yay for sickness going away though. I'm throwing up again at almost 15, hoping it subsides soon, do you have a set due date for me? Xx

Shep that's rubbish it actually never ends does it? Pregnancy is a nightmare with a cold. Hope dd gets over it quick for you too. And you, sounds like you never stop! And I can't believe you're at 16 weeks this week! Xx

OH has got a cold today so it's only a matter of time before we all get it. He's just took DD to nursery despite me telling him I'm fine to take her. Though he certainly made a meal out of it, I've never heard so much groaning in my life. I was like I'll just take her. No no it's fine I'd rather you take it easy for a few more days. Okay then. Men I swear lol

KHTW hope you and dd are good xx

Honestly I am counting days down for this winter to end!! I want spring... I want warm sun... I want to be able to go for a walk and enjoy it! I want the colds to be over!!! Only few more months...

Oh Shan I can't believe you are still having sickness, that sucks :( I think you are definitely having a boy lol. Hope DH doesn't share the bacteria! x

I am celebrating a little victory with DD... Last night was 4th time in a row when I was able to leave her in bed after 10min of cuddles, say good night and actually walk away from her room without her crying!! This is such a big thing for me after having to stay with her until she fell asleep and then knowing she would wake up and cry for me after 1.5hr max! I hope this lasts... I still go back to her room at night as she dreams a lot and wakes up looking for me but one step at the time x
