Apparently from what I've read it's very common but many women don't even realize they have it. In most cases it doesn't have any long term effects and it's relatively easy to recover with post partum exercise so that's put most of my worries to rest.What causes this to happen ? what is it my lovely? Never heard of this before. X
What it is - basically the top layer of abdominal muscles separates. Mostly due to growing belly but it can happen outside of pregnancy too and even men can get it. Here's more info including how to know if you have it:
