**February Babies 2012**

Thanks ladies!
Lol carly u have so much energy verity ur DH is so excited how cute! Ankle massages I never heard of that either my DH will defo think I made that up if I ask him lol xx

Haha we were told by a massage therapist. Apparently they aren't allowed to give ankle massages to pregnant women! Either way, it didn't work... I think LO will come when she is ready. It doesn't hurt to try though! And you get a massage out of it!

Ooooooooh I am definitely gonna tell DH about this - I've already been getting lots of back rubs so an ankle massage would be great too!

In reflexology think the womb/uterus area is related to the ankle. My reflexologist lady said it's best not to do too much in that area til you're full term just in case! I'm going for one on thursday, see if that helps get things moving! xx

Had pineapple, curry, ankle massage (thanks Mrs KM!) and it's officially the full moon! I think DH will not be a happy bunny as there seems to be no signs of imminent action...

Anyone getting anything?

Haha excellent! My fingers are crossed for you! I have had a little bit of crampjng the last hour but nothing I can time :( not really expecting anything to happen for me for a while! I am really hoping there are some labour watches tomorrow!

Well I've not long got home from work! It there at half 1 and left at half 9!! Talk about lending a helping hand! Lol!

Not getting any niggles or anything :( plenty of BH's and a very active baby though :)

Well ive had tightenings that are quite uncomfortable all day, had a long walk to gp earlier too which made them stronger but nothing id think is "it"

Fingers crossed some of us pop soon there really will be a boom over next few weeks and loads of fab baby pics to coo over! xx

Hopefully it turns into something for you! We have been going through a little bit of a labour drought here!

Yes, we definitely need some labour watches soon!! :)

Im a bit like that as well - it really doesnt feel like anythings gonna be happening soon iykwim. BH's are a bit worse, and defintely got a wriggly baby - especially tongiht.

But no change to bowels (sorry TMI), not got an increased appetite (unless its choc), no surge of energy for the nesting stuff. Last mw appointment lil madam wasnt even engaged.

xxx

I've had looser bowels the whole pregnancy so there isn't goin to be a change there for me! I've definatley had an increase in appetite since Sunday. If its food I'll eat it! Been so hungry today as I've been helping at work so no access to food :( am really hungry now and considering havin rice pudding but I know I'm gonna pay for it when I go to bed of I do :(

Is increased appetite a sign of labour being soon then?
Never knew that one, not that my appetite has changed. Hope all you Feb mummies are ok. I can't even see the moon tonight but know there was a full moon last night instead :(
LO will come when he is ready I guess, but its true being on Mat leave makes you inpatient. Tomorrow I will be spending a few hours on my own which I haven't done since being on Mat leave. Going to be very weird...
Hoping we have a baby boom soon as there has been a lack of watches lately. xx

Oh god I can see us all going into labour all at once!! There are so many of us. I have a feeling I'm going to go over my due date of 23rd. I've been getting mild period pains much more frequently and feeling quite nauseous like I did during my first three months. Also I've been constipated throughout my whole pregnancy and this past week or so I've been able to pass with ease which for me is such a relief.

Chip is still 'free' and no sign of her moving down as I'm still having trouble breathing as she pushes everything up and the kicks are still high, also my acid reflux is getting worse especially on an empty stomach.

Think I have a few more weeks left yet??

So... Not looking like the Full Moon did it for any of us?! :(. Booooo!!

I have been spending quite a lot of time alone too, which is not nice... Especially the last few days 'cos I haven't been out much with the pavements round here being so icey I've been afraid of slipping over!

This afternoon I am going to do all my cooking so I can stock up my freezer with yummy things...! Going to start with making a fish pie, veggie sausage casserole and veggie lasagne... Should tide us over for at least a few days when LO arrives! :)

Pip isn't allowed to arrive today. Any day from tomorrow is good tho!

Goin out shoppin with my nan today which was postponed from yesterday as I went in to work to lend a helping hand (ended up doin 8 and a half hours tho!!) was much nicer cos I knew I didn't have to be ther and I could go any time I wanted.

Can't wait till Wednesday when I get paid so I can buy and order the last couple of bits I need for the little dude. Feeling a lot more at ease now. Washing sheets and blankets this afternoon and cleaning widows too :D

What has everyone else got planned for the day?

Full moon did nothing for me. Ended up at Bluewater yesterday, got Mum to leave off early and take me up there for a wander. Did loads of walking but didn't get things moving!

Also bought some bits in Matalan - good deal on sheets and blankets, pram size are 6 quid each for blankets, or 2 for a fiver! Gonna get those all washed and fresh today. They have cheap nursing bras too - 2 for a tenner, rather than the 2 for £30 you get in M&S or Mothercare. Pretty plain and ugly but its not really going to be an attractive time with leakage etc! Wasn't sure on size but just guessed as they were so cheap.

Going for a walk in the park with Grandparents today and lunch at theirs, then out at a pub quiz this evening. Just trying to keep busy.

Nothing from the full moon here either! I thought I would pop early - shows how much I know! It's my due date today, so clearly cub is going for fashionably late (and I pride myself on punctuality!)

On the plus side some of the last bits and pieces for the nursery and the flat are coming today so I can sort all that out and my friend's popping over to see me for a little bit too. And with OBEM tonight, hopefully I should be distracted today!

I'm also beginning to think we will have a boom, hopefully soon, and a lot of us will all go at once, been quiet for a while now.
Going to try and keep busy, keep thinking of taking the dogs on a long walk but its too cold to consider leaving the house, :(
Happy due Date Verity :) xxx

Have u got any names sorted yet?

DH said to me last night the more people ask him what Pip will be called and the more he says Henry, the more he falls in love with it  I have to say I'm the same! Sounding more and more like our little man will definately be Henry :cloud9:
