Wedding ring off for me - but think it might just be where I've put on weight rather than fluid!

Last couple of days I have felt really hormonal - just like when I have bad PMT. I've been a ratty cow, had tension headaches and have got all spotty. Also felt really sick in the night (think it was because of the horrific heartburn) but fought off throwing up and ended up not very well from the other end - and again this morning.

I'd love to think these are all signs that he might be making an appearance soon, but midwife appt yesterday and he is still 3/5 palpable so only 2/5 engaged.

Just want to meet him now. Counting on this full moon thing to get things going!

Pip wasn't engaged at all at my last apt last Monday. Got another on this Monday coming so hopefully he will be engaged a bit by then.

His movements are getting so strong and where there is less fluid it bloody hurts! Especially when it is near enough constant movement!

Bot - apparently - baby can go from 1/5 engaged (4/5 palpable) to fully engaged in a matter of hours...so dnt worry too much or see it as a sign of nearing labour. It could happen any time xx

I spose being engaged is only an indication? Can't some babies be engaged for aged and others engage just for labour? Planning in some walks for this week. Going a bit stir crazy.

I have been out walkin every day sice my mat leave started and bouncing in the hope it will help!

Cleared my dumping corner in the dining room this morning. Just about to get dressed and then go buy some more fabric conditioner so I can wash his sheets and blankets and buy the ends for his curtian pole and fit them Gonna give the windows a scrub too!

Gonna save the kitchen cupboard clearout for tomorrow.

I wish I had left some stuff to do this week - I've cleaned and scrubbed every inch of this house in the last few weeks.

I only started mat leave on 27th jan. DH was off work so couldn't do a lot then. It's only been yesterday and today I can actually do things! Although I have washed, dried, ironed and put away all of Pip's nb, 0-3 and 3-6 month clothes! Lol!

Im like obsessed with ensuring my lamintae floor is super clean...lol....sweeping n swiffing constantly. Didnt sleep a wink last night n had promised myself I would rest today n nap but feel the need to get everything sorted..cleaned...scrubbed...in place..washed...wiped n sanitised. The annoying thing is...we couild be another weeks guys...so cleaning the bathroom may need doing AGAIN IN A WEEK OR SO..GRRRRRR!!!! xx

You've been busy! I started maternity leave on 1 Feb - but was in nesting mode before so couldn't help but crack on with cleaning etc! Wanted it all done in case he was early - bet I go over now.

You guys are making me feel guilty. I've done all bubs washing, apart from a couple of hand knitted shawls, but I want a friends advice on them and she's on holiday. But apart from that not really done the nesting bit. Lol.

Just catching up on these - boy you all sound so busy whilst im sat on my fat arse!! I have only just got dressed and that is only as need to pop into morrisons as have very little food and need to get some conditioner to wash the clothes we were given at baby shower on Sunday.

As for wedding rings mine has been off since about 32/33 weeks. Does feel very odd but not much longer now and hopefully it can go back on.

Think i might have a good ole bounce this afternoon and getting bored now and still have 2 n bit weeks till DD. x

Well I'm off to save the day! Lol!

Was speaking to the woman who has taken over from me at work. There r supposed to be 3 admin ladies. Since Thursday's she has been by herself! I said last night I would go in and help out for a bit if they wanted me to. Got a call from my boss about an hour ago and said if I could go in this afternoon it would be a huge help. They r gonna give me an extra days annual leave to tag onto the end of my mat leave a whole day for about 4 hours work!

Jus had my KFC for lunch as a well done, now I'm gonna go in

Awwwww young mummy - I hope it's the start of something for you!

I really hope the full moon thing turns out to be true and we all start popping tonight! DH is trying everything to get the LO out - making me eat pineapple, buying me curries (it may only be an old wives tae but I love take out and I never get it because he doesn't eat take out) and DTD!

That's awesome! So we have over 30 of us who could go any time! . I was really hoping to wake up to see some labour watches...hopefully by tonight!

Verity, we tried the curries, dtd etc on Sunday haha. Also have been trying ankle massages as that is supposed to set things off too.
