**February Babies 2012**

Change for car park, camera and charger, phone charger, headphones if ur waiting round for a bit, change of pants and I'm gonna pack a travel size body wash incase he wants a shower :)

Oh I've squeezed camera and chargers in my bag, and will use credit card for car park (sooo expensive!!!). Didn't think of the other things!! Lol xx

Verity thanks I will take a nosey at it now :)
My OH needs to still pack his hospital bag but hes just having snacks, I have a small suitcase and weekend bag and they are fit to burst and not got everything in :s
They say not to take loads, but knowing my luck the things I leave out will be what I need.

As for the snow here, its all gone to slush, just bits left but guessing its going to freeze and go to ice, Lovely!! I also had a feeling LO would want to come when it snowed bad or when I'm on my own, we avoided the snow so going to try and keep people with me from now on :)
Hope your all well ladies. xx

I was wondering what you guys were packing for your other halves. I'm planing on adding snacks to my labour bag - got some crisps for both of us in there already, and a spare t-shirt for him - but thats about it.

still to add camera and batteries - def not putting in his phone charger - as he only has a work fone - so if it dies its a blessing. lol

I've not got much for hubby at all - he can't stay the night even if I have too - so really shouldn't need much. Just got our snacks together in my bag and his toothbrush and a spare t-shirt. He says he doesn't need anything else. Taking loads of stuff for me and baby - won't be able to carry extra things for hubby too!!

My hospital allow other halves to stay in the mlu, and when we had our tour they said they r now allowed to stay in the labour/delivery wards if u r in overnight.

It's better in the mlu as there is a double bed for both of us to stay in :D

ooooh very nice. WE never thought to ask. oops. but then our MLU is not attatched to a hospital - its about 30miles away - so i think they dont expect you to be in active labour long there - if it goes on for too long they start thinking about shipping you out to one of the hospitals. xxx

That sounds amazing! Other halves are allowed to stay too in our mlu if we're in labour overnight but I think that's on a sofa! LOL DH will want us to change if he finds out other places have double beds!

Wow! That's good! Wish our hospital let OHs stay too... And a double bed too! There's a private ward at our hospital where OHs can stay but it is an absolutely ridiculous amount of money.

It's really good. The bed is for after the birth, some people couldn't believe there was a double bed - but seriously, when u have just had a baby what's the worst that can happen???

Yeah i think the double bed is a fab idea so we can snuggle up as a family after. Love the Birth place trying to not get to set on it just in case though.

I really need to get my hospital bag sorted have bits and pieces but not sorted it properly. Stuff for babies bag is all laid out on changer and just needs to be put in bag. x

My OH is just packed snacks as he can't stay over either, if I'm in active labour then my birthing partners can stay as obviously it could happen at any point but if not then they have to go home :(
xx

Same here - that's why I want to get out as soon as possible after the birth.

Another Feb Mummy just updated. Getting a little jealous of people popping now! Keep getting niggles that go NOWHERE! And because cub is now very engaged I'm walking like I have a bowling ball between my legs...

Congrats to Louise though and her baby girl!

Can't wait for my weeky pic tonight as I feel like I have dropped loads!

Getting very jealous about the babies arriving - cant wait for Pip to arrive now! I'm all set for him! Just need to each his bedding which I can't do today cos I've run out of fabric conditioner :( not out now till Wednesday so he has to stay out till the end of the week at least! Don't want him arriving until after 8th as its my brothers birthday then and I want Pip to have his own day!

Yes, huge congrats to Lou!! :) Who will be next?!?

Congrats to Louise and Baby Harlow!

How is everyone else doing? I am getting impatient haha... I keep getting cramps in the middle of the night that stick around until I get up, then they dissappear! I can't wait to meet my LO!

I'm getting impatient too! Have also had cramps on and off in the night, but they don't last long.
Have had such a lazy day today... Done nothing but laze around on the sofa... Feel so guilty... But feeling so nice and relaxed now! Should probably try up a bit now before hubby gets home from work - the place is a bit of a tip!

I think it's hitting the 39 week mark that really starts you feeling impatient lol. For some reason I was convinced I would go early! Not so sure any more haha. I am having a lazy day too... Still in pajamas, might stay that way all day :)

Hehehe... I was in my pjs until after lunchtime!! Still haven't bothered to put my make up on - but I'm not going out anywhere, so just won't bother today!
Yes, I think 39 weeks makes you think... ' Gulp!! It really is just round the corner now... Last few days before due date!!!'. Keep thinking of all the things I don't have, but don't really need but think I probably should have 'just in case'... Too much time to worry now, which is why I think I just want to get my baby here now so we can get on with things!

Hahaha I agree about the 39 week thing! I thought I would go early too, and now DD really is looming! Trying to not worry about it but I'm doing the same as you Nic and keep thinking of loads of little things that maybe, perhaps, I might just need - I am literally bankrupting myself with what I know are pretty frivolous things!
