*****December Babies*****

Ok so.she couldn't reach my cervix and do the sweep. I felt like a cow lol thought her whole hand was up there. Didn't even find it uncomfortable!

Do you think its possible she disturbed my plug. I have been loosing what looks like snotty discharge (yuk sorry)?? Xx

Ive been told my plug is loosing gradually and mine looked snottery as if my good girl has a cold lol xxxx

I think it looks more snottery on the loo roll if that makes sense? Because its against the white.

Hope that MW managed to disturb something anyway and that's what good girl is looking a bit under the weather lol. Just keep thinking, it's for a good cause.

Xxxxx

Hahaha me too...
I just wanted someone else to say it first so I didn't sound crazy :D xxx

I've just started getting myself into a right flap about oh drinking over Xmas.
I had no problem with it till its just hit me what if things start and he can't drive?!
Am I just being crazy neurotic?! Xxxxxxc

not at all!! My OH doesn't want to drink at all over xmas and he isn't even driving xx

Not at all. My oh has been on an alcohol ban since 2 weeks ago. I may make a slight exception for Xmas day.

See we're going to my mums on Christmas Day which is an hours drive away.....
I don't mind driving back if I'm not in labour but if I am that's unrealistic right?!
Xxxxxxx

Can't imagine you would want to drive and have a contraction :/ XX

I've got foof snot and have done for a few weeks - nice!

Newbie you look lovely Hun but I can completely understand you feeling fed up! I am too and you deserve to be more than me!

Christy I wouldn't be so sure Hun I have a feeling I might be in for the long haul!

Soph really sorry it didn't work but glad it wasn't too uncomfy anyway

I had a mw appointment this afternoon. Baby still 3/5ths engaged but she thinks he's lying on my right so wants me to try and encourage him onto the left side - any tips other than sleeping on my left which I do most of the time anyway? Blood pressure was fine and baby's hb fine. Was apparently some protein in my urine but she didn't seem overly concerned and said that she thought it was because of the increased discharge. She did say that she thought the baby was sizeable (I'm measuring 39 and I'm 38+5 so sounds alright?!) and might need a bit more pushing out than Ella did (she was 5lbs9 and has been here for three weeks by now!) and then proceeded to explain what might happen if his shoulders get stuck - eeek!

hi ladies how is everyone???? i hope your all ok xxx i had my little man weighed today he is now ten days old......flew by...he has put on 7ozs!!!! so he is now 8lb 8oz xx then health visitor turned up after mw. anyways everything went well and she left.i looked out of window half hour later and she was walking down nxt door neighbours path??? am paranoid now thinking shes spying on us. my house is mega tidy and were a brilliant couple snd coping well with little man. why would she be at my neighbours????? x

Ooh and no not sure I'd be letting hubby drink I'm afraid. I couldn't have driven when my contractions started with Ella. My hubby has the prospect of Xmas and his bros wedding without drinking!!

I'm also a right hand side baby but nothing seems to be shifting him!

Lo was on the right but today she is on my left. never got told to shift her though? why do they need to be on the left? x

I can't remember why but I do remember reading somewhere that on the left is the best place to go into labour from x
