Well this is it babe - second labours are rarely hard! But this LO was just too big for me - Lily was 5lb 10 this baby almost 2lb heavier with HC of 2cm bigger! haha!
They are gorgeous and I am enjoying them both so incredibly much. Plus my friend visited today as said " wow it looks as though you have been popped with a pin!" as in - my swelling is repidly decreasing! yay! xx

Ive had my baby!!!
Noah was born on friday 14th at 12.15 weighing 8lb 4oz and i have to say it was amazing once it got started after being in hospital since the wed because my waters had broken i spent 2 days on induction ward but they wouldnt give me anything because i had started contrating on my own and they said there was no beds on deliver. i complained after 48hrs as i felt the baby was at risk i was then rushed to deliver and put on the drip had a lovely epidural and spent thursday night laughing with the midwifes. at 11am friday i was told i was 10cm and ready to push Noah came into the world in the most calm and relaxed way. Have now spent 3 days on cloud 9 with the most relaxed baby ever who has the worst smelling wind!

Ladies who are still waiting for their babies good luck and enjoy your last few days its over so fast xx

Congratulations alilou on the safe arrival of baby Noah! Another December baby has arrived - yay - they're coming thick and fast now!

Dani darling sorry you're feeling down.. Your body has been through major surgery not to mention getting through labour to 10cm prior to that! I'll give you a ring tmrw for a catch up chat babe! I bet lily is over the moon being a big sister and I can't wait to meet little grace in the new year!

Isla Mae Dixon was born Sunday 16th at 18:16 via water birth..
I'm sorry I didn't update sophs closer to her being born but it was a blurr.
As most of you know I went in to be induced on Saturday.. Had 2 sets of gels and not much happened but they could break my waters at about 4 so they did that and then asked me to walk around for an hour.. Well I could only manage half an hour and I kept saying to my oh these best be bloody real.. Went back to my room and had some painkillers and was examined again at 5, I was 4cm and they said I could get in the pool.. I was over the moon- no drip! Yay! And a water birth.. Just what I wanted.. I started on the gas and air and literally my contractions didn't have any breaks inbetween..
At just after 6 i asked the MW for a "fucking epidural" and I said "I need a poo" she examined me and said to push..
3 pushes after and Isla Mae was born.. wahoo!
The hospital and MWs only class I was in labour for an hour
The contractions were horrendous but pushing felt so natural and calming
I had 3 stitches inside and that's it..
Was allowed home Monday morning at 10am
Isla is an angel and I can't honestly begin to tell you how much I love her..

Btw a word of warning when they say it stings when you wee they bloody mean it and the induction gel burns but it is so worth it x

Sosie she is lovely you must be so proud just getting ready for my midwife appointment. Eeeeek. Please baby be engaged and sweep is successful!

This is gonna sound a little weird but oh and I dtd yesterday and he said it felt different down there.... He said it was a lot softer and said like a peach.... Could that mean that my cervix is ripe and favourable and getting ready for labour??? I never thought they would be words I'd type.......

Could well be hun! Sounds promising. I'm waiting for my community triage to open. Baby movements have got less and less and def not had 10 sets in the last 24 hours hb ok on Doppler though. Also I have excruciating pain under my right rib but I don't think it's baby as she's in the middle. Will let you know what they say x
