*****December Babies*****

Try not to worry Hun your going to feel less as bubs has less room. I have this every couple of days he is really active then a couple of quiet days. OH has to remind me that we go through this every week lol

We had date night last night, just went out for dinner which was nice but we came home after a couple of hours as I felt so rubbish I had the worst heartburn and just couldn't get comfortable. Poor OH. I feel for him because he just wants to get some us time in but I feel so shattered.

After nearly 36 weeks he finally got over his bump phobia and had a good old feel last night. He couldn't believe how it felt lol he still hasn't felt him kick but I didn't wanna push it!

Bubs is being really quiet lately, had my 10 movements yesterday... But not been big ones.. Come on LO move for mummy:)
Lauging picturing Sophs OH with his stand up mic ;) Doob im pretty sure my OH will be in a state of shock too.. i wont be surprised if we have a fainter on our hands.. anyone having anyonelse with them like their mum.. my OH wants it be just me and him and so do i but deep down i want my mum there too.. think she might be of some use.. :) xx

Movements will calm down now. Don't worry at all :) I have such a calm about labour all of a sudden???? Hope it lasts, km seeing a consultant about my joint problems next week. At my 12 appointment she said I may be better having a section :/ x

I'm having my husband and my sister with me on the big day. But as some of you already know my sister is a midwife in the hospital I'm giving birth in, and she's allowed to deliver me!! I'll feel in safe hands if she's there too as she'll have her finger on the pulse the whole time!

Oh my days Newbie.. 30 days eek :) Ahh that's so good, at least you know she will have yours and bubs best intrests at the front of her mind. Xx

Ferrin that' s amazing she gets to do that!! Make the whole thing more relaxed.

Woo hoo newbie!! X

Awww that's really nice that your sister will deliver your baby. My best friend is my midwife but she won't be delivering my baby. Still it's great to have her to ask her about everything!

That's lovely newbie, I bet it's nice having your best friend give you proper advice or reassurance :) xx

Yeah it's quite reassuring that any questions I have I can just ask her! Plus I've roped her into doing a stretch and sweep.. I will not go overdue!!!

Posted re the reduced movements earlier, I went back to sleep but have felt her since, I seem to be gradually having a large bowel clearout, sorry tmi! Have been at 11pm last night, 3am this morning, 6am this morning and just again! Would be nice if this was the start of things to come!

Hey ladies
Just trying to catch up after a hectic couple of days!
Hubby is on his brother's stag do in Manchester and it was pretty stressful on Friday night when he was due to fly up as he was poorly and then ended up missing the flight (long story - don't ask!!) so had to drive up in the end.
Ella and I were staying at my mum and dads so that I'm not on my own and she was up at 4am being sick. Poor thing was then poorly all day yesterday, sick on and off and even bringing water back at one point. Thankfully she slept better last night (up a couple of times for some calpol and some water to re-hydrate) and is a lot happier today and is now managing to keep some food down so think she's coming out of the worst of it.
This morning seems to be the day for quiet babies - I was a little concerned as I hadn't felt much and he's usually a little wriggler but I am definitely getting movements albeit they are smaller and less noticeable. My mum and dad think my bump looks like its dropped today so perhaps he's just moved down and/or getting too big to do much moving. Sure all is fine as had a cold drink and some chocolate and that elicited some kicks and now that I've been concentrating on it I am definitely having some movements.
Had my flu and whooping cough injections yesterday and at the moment fingers crossed don't seem to be suffering with them!
Anyway just thought I'd update whilst Ella has a nap! I've got two weeks left at work so sounds like there are a few of us finishing at the end of the month. It really is all getting close now! Exciting - plus I'm really pleased I've got to 34 weeks at least (bit of a milestone) and when hubby gets back today there are no plans for him to be away so he shouldn't be at risk of missing it if I do go early (with Ella he was on a stag do in Bath and only got back with an hour to spare!)
Hope all the ladies suffering with sleeping or itching don't feel too bad and hope the baby showers go well xx

Wow what a hectic few days Jodied!! Glad he's wriggling a little bit to reassure you.

I woke up feeling very energised this morning so decided to go Xmas shopping and spent a small fortune. I did manage to get my bouncer and playmat at mothercare too. Theyve got a great sale on plus 20% extra off today if anyone needs anything xx

Woohoo yay to 34 weeks, can't believe I've got here too! Just thought with all the stories I hear about twins I would have had them by now. Definitely don't think i'll go into labour myself now, think i'll panic if I do as I'm just working towards the 36 week induction.

So glad your bubs is still cooking though, hopefully they'll hang on a little longer :)

Wow I am so exhausted!!!! Had my baby shower today we got so spoilt!!! Pretty much got everything else I needed! Ill take some photos later but basically got:

Lovely waffle Moses basket from
John Lewis
Fisher price rainforest gym (so happy about this it rocks!!!)
Fisher price rainforest bouncer (equally rocks!)
Baby bath (really cool foldable one)
First 12 months photo frame
Teddy bear
Snow suit
Clothes
Baby converse
Blankets
Handprint cast set for baby
Knitted stuff
Lots of other stuff I can't remember!!

Totally spoilt I feel so grateful everyone came :)

Also my midwife friend did some checks when everyone went, I'm measuring 35 weeks so hopefully on Wednesday he may measure 36 weeks so he would have caught up, and he has flipped into the left hand side into LOA position so all he needs to do now is rotate and engage! Hopefully he doesn't decide to flip back because he is exactly where he should be right now! Hope he doesn't keep me waiting 4 more weeks.

Also learnt that I'm probably going to be one of the last people to have my baby in the hospital I am as they are closing down end of the month, this means I get my own room all the way through and no pre labour ward! Woohoo!!!!

Hope everyone had a lovely day. Can't believe it's Monday again tomorrow.

Wow sounds like you had an amazing day! Lucky girl with all those gifts!
Such good news that baby is in the right position too... I have an awful feeling my bubs will be back to back!
Just think with every Monday that comes round it's another week closer to meeting bubs!! Xx
