Hi Tasha and welcome (make sure you PM Kitty with your FF link so it can be added to the front page if you havent already)

Its difficult to tell anything from a chart at first, after you ov you will see a clearer pattern, but obviously for the first time charting, after you ov is a bit late if you are ttc so I hope you are getting plenty of BDing in just in case! Do you know how long your cycles are normally?

Well my cycles have been roughly on 32/34

Well me and OH are ttc a boy, well I will be very happy either way but we would like to increase our chances so are bding day before ov, ov day and after.

When I got pg with Oli we didnt hardley bd and I know it was before ov that we did as I used tot rack to prevent pg and was on the pill!

Its taking a risk in the fact we may not catch eggy first time but its a risk we are willing to take.

Sounds really daft doesn't it

No it doesnt sound daft at all- a lot of people do that (try for a specific sex) and it is definately more common with people who are trying for a 2nd or 3rd (or more).

Ovulation: Not Detected Yet (More Info..)
Your chart data does not allow ovulation to be pinpointed to within a 24 hour timeframe.
Your temperature suggests, however, that ovulation may have occured between CD 5 and CD 11.

Whats the stupid thing on about

how odd!
Obviously you had a pretty large temp change between CD6-7 but as you have no fertile CM etc then and no +OPKs then that would not support ov at that time. Im not sure why FF is suggesting that they havent detected ov but that it could have happened between CD5-11 - thats just silly!

I think everything will change over the next few days - particularly if you enter in a +OPK, which is looking likely. Dont pay too much attention to it at the moment, it doesnt have any past cycle data to base anything on so its probably talking rubbish!

Hey all well i think im about close to OV as im getting the normal pre OV pains so im at the ready for some BD'ing hoping though i havent missed it already

Fertility freind doesn't know what shes talking about.

I do feel i am getting close to ov, I have started cramping, so I will be playing close attention to it all.

Thanks ladies Feeling really ill with cramps today.
My OH made me feel better by giving me a big hug and promising that we will try even harder this month. I always advise people to keep BDing even after ovulation, but I never seem to take my own advice! So this month we must continue after I know Ive ovulated. Im not going to tell my OH when Im ovulating, Im hoping we will BD every other day or at least every 3 days early on and after ovulation. Hopefully OH's spermies are getting healthier now too Please let this be my month! Good luck everyone!

Me too! I always seem to stop on the last day of fertile CM then OV 2 days later. Then I wonder why I'm not pg????? Glad your OH is on board. Sorry your feeling so rough. It adds insult to the injury doesn't it? Take some ibuprofen strap a hot water bottle to your tummy/back and have a good mope!

This month we'll both try to BD every other day. I've already failed at the start but I'm back on track now. Poor DH has broken ribs so not ideal but I'm still making him do it!!
