Chart Stalkers March 2008

I meant 26th 27th feb & 1st & 2nd March.

The more recent ones seem fine I just meant that as the earlier ones are higher then FF might take a while to decide that you have ov'd.
If it doesnt give you lines in a few days you might have to manually enter the lines or discard the earlier temps from those days Ive mentioned. Dont panic over it yet tho as it might sort itself out

The first month is always the hardest

Flossy were you poorly the week before - I think choklatemunky is right FF is not recognising ovulation because of the high temps during your AF and just after - if that was when you had a cold I would mark them as fever and disregard them as it certainly looks like you ov'd over the weekend. :D Sometimes we just have to cheat a little......

Hey ladies just checked back on my posts and i had that awful tummy upset on the 28th/29th then i got a bloody cold but that had all but cleared up by the 2nd/3rd. So what should i do to change it on FF again?
Sorry for being a righht prat here as i am :(

Flossy, the 28th and 29th temps are not as high so will I would not worry about changing those but on those days you could mark them as illness in the specific symptoms tab on FF just for reference.

I think just leave the others for a few days to see if it sorts itself out and then as Ive said you might have to disregard the temps from 26th 27th 1st and 2nd for FF to recognise ov.

So did you only have the cold for 1 day, the 1st March?? :?

Dont be daft - we are started somewhere - if I was you I would go into 1st and 2nd and disregard those temps - you can click the disregard box - that was when you had your cold and a temperature so they are false highs I would think - if you do that you may well find you get your lines :D

Thanks ladies. Choklatemunky i seemd to have picked up the cold at the same time i got the tummy upset sorry i forgot to say

Flossy  its the 1st and 2nd I would disregard - when you had your cold :D it will take out the 2 really high temps and then you should get the cross hairs......

Morning all,

Just a quick howdy doody before I go to work this morning

My temp has dropped a bit but nothing to report really. I am now in the 1WW :cheer: And of course my test date is the day I fly to Providencia... I don't have much luck with dates :( but I certaintly have good luck with holidays! :cheer:

Loola - your hair looks lovely. True, it's not so katie holmes, but it suits you.

Chill - I loved Cuba too. We were there for one month, with 3 weeks in Havana. We stayed with a Cuban woman there and did Spanish classes with her. It was really crazy. She was completely nuts. It's a very long story. But it was certainly highly entertaining. We had lots of long conversations in the streets with Cubans about the situation there. It was the most fascinating holiday I have ever had. Then we did the touristy thing and stayed a week in Varadero, which was divine.

Tasha - I meant to say that my ferning micro doesn't seem to work either. I get ferning at the wrong time, not before Ov. Mind you my cycles are stupid so it could just be me, as I imagine that my hormones are messed up :(

ROM - I hope AF stays away  But even if she doesn't you must be feeling very good to be getting back to normal.

Choklatemunky - I probably missed this, but are the blood tests for hormones?

Hi to everyone else.

OK. Should really get ready. Bye

Just like magic!! :cheer: :cheer:

Just spoken to my GP about my results - apparently my prolactin level is fine - anything below 300 they wouldnt worry about - phewwwww I am so glad :D I asked him about my hcg level and whether it would be a write off this month - he said at 9 dpo it would be inconclusive - definately not a write off - he also said not to test until I am atleast a day late (funny man!!!). Anyway he was lovely and just kept telling me not to underestimate what I went through and to ring him as soon as I get a + test - I have his home number as he is my sons football coach!! I told him about it being difficult to get through the receptionists and he said ring him at home - bless...... Now I just have to wait for AF to come and onto the next cycle - I have awful cramps this morning but still no sign.... suspect she will arrive this afternoon right in the middle of my meeting....

Hi Sookie - yep they were my 7dpo (or more usually referred to as CD21 tests - altho mine werent on CD21 if you see what I mean)

BTW I didnt bother with my microscope this month, it did give me ferning at the right time last month but I also got partial ferning a lot of the time and soon as OPKs were telling me the same day as the full ferning on teh microscope anyway I decided to just stick to them.

ROM - thats great about the prolactin levels....and the Dr sounds really nice too, although the not-testing-until-you-are-a-day-late comment almost put him in the bad books :rotfl:
Hope she doesnt turn up in the meeting, in fact hope she doesnt turn up at all

Rom, I know the Dr said your levels of prolactin were fine.....but I found this when I was looking up vit B6 online....

Vitamin B6 is helpful to a luteal phase defect, as it will boost progesterone levels, and lower elevated prolactin levels.
