Loola - as ROM has said I think prolactin seems to be measured in diff ways - some of the websites had it in ng/ml and some in m/UI so I presume its all different levels depending on what it gets measured in? Think I saw 600 and 1500 somethign or others as 'normal' so its really not very clear at all - Hope you get some answers on Monday from the Dr ROM!

Oh and loola I think that hairstyle will really suit your face shape - I bet it'll look gorgeous!

Well I took my temp between 730 and 830, only moved my arm to get the themometer.

Also my cervix is low, very closed and very creamy, there is no way that any spemies would get it, I have never felt my cervix this closed before, and I have tracked my cervical position for over 6 months ( was trying to avoid pg then.)

I have had more neg opks, So I do think I ov'd, and after alot of reasearch it seems its just a slow rise.

Annoying as I wanted one of those big temp jumps

Tasha - If you did ov, hope you caught the egg! Do keep BDing though until you can see a clear change in the range of your temps. Sometimes your body gears up for ov but then gears back down and you ov a little later.

Kitty - Sorry about OH's op, that is so not on. Grrrrrr. Hope you get a high on your gadget soon !

Loola - like the hairstyle, think it will look fab. Good luck with the sunbeds. I'm not that keen on the them, but some of the moisturing tanners are quite good now, if I could be bothered to put them on every day !

ROM - Sounds like you are really going through it, hope you feel better soon

I'm in 2ww limbo. Had a really small bit of spotting yesterday, more of a tinge really, and a wee bit of darker today on 8dpo.
Have had sore BBs since 4dpo (tops and side, not nips at all). Mild cramps. And a few other things that are a bit
subjective and so prob in my head. That said I have had all of these things before, so hey ho, we'll see.
Fingers are crossed so hard they hurt

Hi everyone,

Well I have been busy this week with work, but wanted to pop in to say hi (though not sure if any of you missed me!)

I finally seem to have Oved (thanks for the cheer Claire ) on CD30. Which is ok as we bedded that day, but I am a bit worried that we may have been too late. We were away for the weekend and couldn't do any BDing as we were sharing a room with friends. I also forgot to do an OPK so not sure if I ever would have gotten a + pr not. I certainly didn't have ferns then. It's so annoying having all these gadgets and none of them work for me. Thank goodness for temping, otherwise I would be sure that I never ovulated.

If I don't get a BFP this month I will be trying some fertility drugs from my gyno. Of course though he wants me in on CD1 which will be the day we fly off for a holiday to an island here (Providencia or Old Providence). I will have to go in early and have him give me the drugs in advance. I'm so fed up with long cycles.

BTW, I posted some photos from my weekend away of us sitting in a mud volcano. Very cool. It's actually a volcano full of cool mud. A really strange sensation as you float in it.

Cheers honey apparently stress can effect it too - me stressed - never!!!! I just dont seem to be able to find what is the normal non pregnant level they would expect in the UK - I think it is measured differently in the USA - a bit like progesterone......

Just noticed your post and i remembered seeing this the other day

Prolactin Day 3 < 24 ng/ml Increased prolactin levels can interfere with ovulation. They may also indicate further testing (MRI) should be done to check for a pituitary tumor. Some women with PCOS also have hyperprolactinemia.

Claire men can be real arses at times!! Usually when you really need them I find. Is there anyway you can get a babysitter for the girls and go out just the two of you and talk? Easier said than done I know with little ones but it sounds as if you need to clear the air a bit.

Oh flossy isnt it typical just as you want to see a pattern thats the one you miss out on!!! Not much you can do I dont think - tomorrows should still tell FF if you have ovulated and it will put a dotted line between yesterdays and its temps.

Dont worry too much about it - most of us miss one or two temps.

OK look at my temp today why does it look such a great chart when I know my hcg was less than 1 on 10 dpo!! I havent even got anything in the house to pee on!! and little of chance of getting anything today as its my birthday and my mum is taking me shopping and has eyes like a hawk - after last time and the way she is about us TTC again the last thing I want her to see is my buying tests!! She already told me yesterday again she doesnt think its a good idea for us to try again - we are too set in our lifestyle apparently and she doesnt think Dave will be very supportive!!!

Thanks ROM Oooh id find it hard not to try and test even if i was with the MIL mindue ive had to divert the subject when theyve asked about tests before now thinking were PG when im not even though were obv trying oh lordy if only they knew
Btw if you BD after midnight do i put it down as AM on my chart (sorry thats a daft qu)
