Loved the sling workshop, the lady is a sling consultant and knows so much. I tried them
all on and decided to go for a stretchy wrap as they are apparently ideal for newborns and for beginners like me as you can put them before putting baby in and you can adjust easily. Once I try it and feel confident and am sure baby wearing is something for me then I will move up to a woven one, gorgeous patterns and fabrics

re the slings in the high street I have heard so many bad things about them re posture and problems with baby spine and hips but I
Still haven't read any solid evidence on it to really convince me they are as bad as some say... The woman has given me a journal article explaining why wraps are better, will have a read later. Having said that the wraps keeps the baby in such a natural position- like a little frog, that I would imagine is more comfortable for them than a baby bjorn. And more comfortable for my back too

the stretchy wraps are £50 which is cheaper than the baby bjorn I bought for just under £100.
Mum2b Aaron coughed and coughed all night I was up with him lots but finally collapsed at 3 am and then slept in... I had 1 minute to make the decision to send him to school or not but he seemed quite upbeat in the morning and keen to go so away he went, hopefully he is better. And the night time feasts do happen here lol as you say it distracts you and you can't sleep til you have eaten.
I hope you are feeling ok?
