*****August 2014 Mummies*****

Yes hun- didn't u say 11lb possibly? U don't look like you've put 2stone on in your bump pics- must b all baby :-)

aww thank you lanny and mum2b :D we just fell in love with it xxx

Evening all, though nearer bedtime. Nice to see tri 3 numbers growing. Hope gtt results come back clear Lanny, mine did and I've put on nearly 2st already. Your weight gain is good, don't let them nag you. Lovely name Georgie, lily was on our girl list too.

Broke a tooth on some pork crackling yesterday, chatting with ladies at work today turns out three of them broke teeth during pregnancies and their teeth haven't been same since. Never knew it could damage your teeth so much. Serves me right for cutting off some crackling while meat was resting and family were busy doing chores for me whilst I cooked! Dentist on weds to see what they can do. Anyone else have teeth probs?

Thanks ladies :). I'm just ignoring them, what with younger sis telling me I dnt look pregnant and elder sisters saying we all need gastric bands I'm doing well. My profile pic is when I'd just lost 3stone 3lb in about 9/10 months.

Get see how big bump is tomorrow at 28 wk scan, I'm expecting a Long baby as u all know cuz of OH height ha ha, they did say at first scan we could be looking at over 10lb eeek.

Kaffee - not had any tooth issues, but have made appointment to register with a dentist - I haven't been in about 6yrs as I'm absolutely petrified - poor OH is gonna realise how bad it is when he comes with me.

Loving the bump pics ladies :)

Good luck for scan today Lanny! Let us know how u go!

Kaffee- I tend to have more sensitive gums in pregnancy which bleed from time to time when I brush my teeth! I have dentist tomorrow also- its my annual check up but I think they may want to give my teeth an extra clean as although I've been brushing it made me feel sick for the first 4-5 months so not been as thorough as I should have been!! Xx

Hello! Wow- number 4! Massive congrats! Hope this pregnancy is treating u well? Xx

Yep, 4th and last!! lol Its not been too bad. The usual heartburn, restless legs, lack of sleep. I get a lot of unexplained pain in pregnancy and painful braxton hicks, but its not been as bad as last pregnancy *touch wood* My mucus plug came away at 25+4 but checks have shown no signs of preterm labour, so it must have just been replenishing. Just a waiting game now, Im so inpatient, but I know I should try enjoy my time before no 4 arrives cause its gonna get hectic! lol xxx

I know what u mean- trying not to wish the pregnancy away but starting to have enough of being uncomfy etc and know its going to get worse!
That must of been a huge relief after the plug scare!
I'm due my second boy- u will have to share tips on how to cope! Lol! Xx

lol I think routine is good for coping. my older boys are now 12 and 9 and they both got into good sleeping routines at an early age. i was a working mum back then as well so the routine of going to nursery and bedtimes just made it all seem so easy. i was made redundant during my 3rd pregnancy and decided to be a stay at home mum and look for work once i stopped BFding, but found out I was preg again so going back to work got put on the sideline. The older boys are very independant and at school most the day but still found it hard work having a baby again, no idea how i will cope with a toddler at home and a new baby! 3rd son will be 18 months when 4th comes along, im expecting tears (from me and toddler) and jealousy but it will be good for the younger 2 to be close in age and be playmates like their older brothers :) Just hoping baby is a good feeder and sleeper, will be so much easier to cope if I get a decent nights rest. xxx

Hello ladies I can finally move over here today :) x

Well been for 28wk scan - no pic as sonographers said it was moving it's arms too much :(. Though me & Oh got to see it's face on screen for he first time so saw it's eyes nose & mouth lol.
It's measuring slightly above the normal range for me.
Abdomen is 252.9mm, femur is the smallest thing on the chart at 52.2mm.
Weighs 2lb 13oz.

Oh yeah baby is breech too :)

Bp 118/78, urine clear.
Had GTT Resukts from yday and she said they were high but still in normal range - well it's either ok or it's not.
I really didn't like this registrar, the one we've seen before is lovely, and the healthcare person was like have u changed ur name as u have caused confusio, nthen kept asking if I was a VBAC - no love it's my first,,.

Back again at 34 weeks for another scan etc :) xx

Yay! Welcome over Zoe :-)

Wenchytoots- my job ended in march and I'm a SAHM now too! My boy will b 2yrs 9 months when this one comes along but I'm also expecting tears and jealousy! He is going to start at preschool in November 2 mornings a week so hoping that will help me cope and come January he will go 4 mornings!..... B lovely for your younger son to have a sibling close in age and I'm sure your older two will be a great help :-)

Glad bubs is doing well hun and great re GTT! .... Some drs aren't v good are they?! No people skills at all! So what if you've changed your name?! U have every right and u shouldn't be made to feel like you've caused problems cause of it- what an idiot! xx

I think I have the list on the front page up to date but do check me and let me know if anything needs amending :-)

Hi ladies hope you are well today
Had my 28 weeks app today bloods taken and book my jak for next Tuesday. Baby is doing great and is transverse was obligue at 25 weeks. I gess they have plenty of time to turn head down. Measuring only 25 so one more than at 25 weeks(24), I think it is due to baby being breach.

Hi Magdalena! Its prob due to position like u say hun- u have def grown!..... My jab yesterday was fine but arm sore all night and today :-/ Hope yours isn't too bad!...... I'm knackered and achy- think I overdid it today :-/

Thanks mum2be what have you been up to today? Here was rainning almost whole day couldn't do much. Hope you can relax now as Ethan is asleep:) I am on holiday next week so should be fine with my jab hopefully will have time to recover.

I went out this morning and did some shopping, had lunch and did some stuff on computer so fine until then but then I went out for a walk with Ethan in buggy (about 45 mins) came back cooked dinner, did the dishwasher and two lots of washing plus clearing out a cupboard to look for something- oh and planted Ethan's sunflower seeds with him....... Back really started aching......just too much at the end of the day I think when I'm tired and felt rough anyway! My own fault really!....... That's good u r on hols next week- u got anything nice planned? Xx

Morning Ladies, how is everyone? Restless legs and heartburn left me alone last night and actually slept 7 hrs straight :) Baby is making up for it though by trampolining on my cervix, god it feels like my waters popping every time lol. Boys off to school and LO away for a nap already so Im gonna be lazy and channel flick :) x
