Sorry girls, I have a sick child
Mum2b and Keeptrying , these days they recommend dry Pailing nappies, so I have a bucket with a mesh bag inside that after flushing down the liner I put the nappies in, no need to put any water or anything, just close the lid and when it's washing time ( I do them every 2 days) you get the mesh bag out and into machine.
I then rinse, put half amount of powder so no soap build up on nappies also no softener , wash at 60 and hang them to dry or tumble dry on low.
You do flush the disposable liners so the worst of poo etc goes down the toilet - I have reusable liners too which I did use for the newborn stage, but I like the disposables, as you say mum2b
When out and about I put used nappies on a wetbag and as I get home I either transfer them to the bucket or put straight in the washing machine after loosening the drawstrings and nappies come out the bag in the wash.
I will take some pics if helps, I just don't know how to upload more than 1 pic per post :/ x
ETA rinse meaning a rinse cycle in washing machine x
