Last night I had really bad flu type symptoms - felt awful!! Bloody flu jab!!

Anyone else like a walking dustbin? I just can't stop eating!!! And it's not healthy stuff!!

I went through a patch of eating loads of crap too.......trying to do better now but yesterday wasn't great but had the excuse of it being my birthday!...... Its hard when u crave naughty stuff!!

Happy 19 weeks. Going by the private scan I'm half way tomorrow! At the beginning I thought I would never get here as time was dragging. It's getting quicker now tho.

Has everyone had the flu jab? I didn't get mine, the midwife said it was up to me but was coming to the end of flu season...

Nhs scan in just over a week. Potentially the last time I see my wee girl until she arrives! That's quite scary... My mum has been a star, she visited last week from Scotland and brought loads of stuff down with her. When does anyone intend to set things up ready? I mean the clothes are all away, but things like setting a cot or Moses basket up?

Ps.i felt exacly the same with the scan I thought it is a girl as this pregnancy is totally different and as you I like sweets this time around but with ds I wouldn't touch anything sweet till 1 month after delivery. Just shows how all pregnancies are really different.

I need a maternity dress for a wedding too- will have to have a look in too!

Flu jab for me was back in December so thought it would c me through the season but I still got flu!!

As for setting stuff up I don't have a set idea yet but we are moving my boy to the bigger room in April and then the nursery will be free to sort out so will get the bars back on the cotbed and have a good clean up and touch up the paint etc! Will prob start washing clothes when I'm about 34 weeks and put the Moses basket up around 37-38 weeks.....something like that I guess?! Xx

Can anyone who knows anything about an anterior placenta let me know when I should be able to feel baby move for the first time, just over 21 weeks and I haven't felt anything yet? Thanks x

Yes hun- will hopefully get on computer today and update it (struggle to do it on my phone with tapatalk!)

I'm not sure but think those with anterior placenta start feeling bubs after around 22weeks? Although don't quote me on that! Xx

Hello. Everyone. . Happy belated bday mum2b. I was so wrong about your little blue bundle ha but chuffed for you!

Havent caught up with all these pinks and blues yet!! But congrats everyone!!.

Loads of us have 20 week scans tomorrow. How are you all feeling i admit im scared now!! Havent seen bubba for 8 weeks. Hope they are ok!! Getting ace movements tho. So hoping i dont have anterior placenta this time (coz id like something diffrent ha).

Donnah. I had anterior placdnta last time. I started feeling bubs about 19/20 weeks. But only very low down on one side. And mw said a lot of women dont until 22 ish weeks. So i think that is pretty normal. On the whole i still felt my lo move everyday. But apparently you dont feel as much as someone with a posterior placenta. ( but ive never had one so i dont know how true that is). Ill find out what mine is tomorrow

Have those with anterior placentas been told by a certain time or at a scan or something? Nobody has mentioned mine so not sure what position it's in...

I'm usually a size 20 and have felt some churning in my tummy. Anyone know when I may feel movements on the outside?

With my daughter I never had Brixton hicks at all so don't really know if that's what I'm feeling. I was just sitting in the sofa when I thought oww by tummy hurts then it was gone 5 minutes later is was back and keeps coming and going. Can't say if it's tightening as where I'm overweight I can't feel it but feels sore and like I'm gonna burst then stops :/ thought it was a bit early for them should I be worried? Xxx

Lilmiss- I think everyone feels braxton hicks differently and it sounds like that is what u r having though! I didn't get them til much later first time but had them start the other week and so I had a read- normal from around 16 weeks so don't panic! Sometimes a change of position or moving can stop them. Not the nicest thing to have but totally normal!

Inkfairy- they check your placenta position at 20 week scan. They have to in case its covering the cervix. It should say on scan notes where it is if they don't tell u.....but they usually say in my experience! As for movements everyone is different! I really wouldn't know when u will feel them externally! First time round I started to feel them inside at about 16-17 weeks but think it wasn't til 22-23 weeks til I felt them outside? Can't remember accurately! U will feel them though, don't worry!!

Inkfairy. If you have had ur 20 week scan it should say on the report. If not then have a cheeky ask whilst they scan u! I will be. I dont think it matters babywise at all its just good to know re movement counting later on.

Mum2b its super exciting two have a little bro for your little man! My hubby just text me saying ' love you cant wait to say hi to our lil voy tomorrow'!!! I wish he wouldnt say that. . It worries me. Because i genuinly dont mind. I think im just too lucky as it is! ! Hopefully two beautiful healthy children.!

Lilmiss- glad to hear your ok. Afraid ive never had bh (i dont think) so i dont know. But i have alsi heard people get them from befire 20 weeks! so hopefully all is good with your lil boy too! ! Team blue are very strong arent they!

Yeah she does- she's been working all weekend so I'm hoping she's catching up on sleep whilst her kids r at school!..... Sure your hubby will b fine if its another girl, will just take a little bit of time to adjust to the idea! Xx
