I'm a pink! My nhs scan isn't until Monday next week but the private one last week said she was sure it was a girl

Still TEAM YELLOW

Arms crossed in front of face and legs were crossed at the ankles !! Still camera shy as it's starting turn away in the pic.

Measuring top end of scale for everything ( not a great surprise with oh being 7ft 1)
Currently weighs 1lb

Next scan at 28 wks will let you know date - the one plus side to being fat is I get 2 more scans lol.

Good luck to those with scans tomorrow.

Just a quick question
Am I really mental for feeling absolutely terrified of labour ???
I have a good pain threshold, it's not the pain that bothers me I'm scared of what I'm going to be like.
Am I going to be very calm n controlled like my sisters were or am I going be a stark raving mad woman. I fear I will be the raving mad nutter.

I think I worry about it more than I should ha ha x

Absolutely petrified!!! Don't want to be one of these women u see on OBEM screaming and carrying on, I want to just get on with it in my own way but I don't think I will I think I'll be breaking hubby's arm and everything lol

Mum2b my scan pics wee the same, nowhere near as clear as my 13+6 pics, they were pretty awful actually so we only got one!

I am not scared of labour as it is all part of the process. What scares me is something going wrong and knowing there is very little I can do about it/no control.

I am like donnah- scared of something happening to baby :-/ I got through a pretty rough induced labour first time round with an epidural and only screamed in the last 3 pushes with the forceps coz my boys' heart rate was dropping and I got scared.

The midwives will b used to dealing with ladies who shout as well as those who r dead quiet so try not to worry! There is no 'normal' way to labour in terms of 'how u are' I'm sure! Xxx

Morning ladies lovely to see everything seems to be going well a had a quick nosey through this morning to catch up on everything! Lil miss can't believe they put you through all that stress over a small blood pressure cuff! And mummy_ midwife hope you don't have anymore contractions and things calm down until it's time lovely to see everyone having there scans so excited for mine on Monday! Eeek! Wonder what I'm carrying boy or girl? Finally hit 20 weeks today and still feeling like a boxing ring baba is very active in there a lot more wriggles than kicks but it's all reassuring! Bump is well and truly blooming everyone keeps asking me how far along I am too double check! will post a picture later xxx

Anyway I thought I'd just pop in again still no internet at home but am at my aunties for the week so will be on abit more now my house is now looking like home and I can't wait to have baby to make it complete I know still have abit to go but I can get excited can't it! xxx

Thanks mum2b yes pretty much sorted just need to find out what we are having so I can start buying clothes, cot bedding and get my pram think that's pretty much all I need now xx yes the countdown has begun I can't wait! I've waited so along for this I'm wishing my pregnancy away! Xxx hope your all ok Hun? Xx

Nice to hear from you zoe!!. Hitting 20 weeks makes it all real. But cant wait to see your bump i have barely anything. But i do have movement so i can relate to the boxing

glad to hear your results came back brill alan!.

Am i the only person who feels 60 years old. Im all seized up and feel like i cant move!!. Maybe carrying a 10 kilo teething monster round is the root of the issue!!. But the short walk to the hospital may kill me! !

Good luck to all the other ladies on 20 week scan today. im feeling positve!

am i bad for deciding to not be team yellow. Hubby changed his mind a week or so ago. And i agreed with him. Buf im feeling a bit guilty! ( probably been oversensitive)

I'm ok hun, just tired and still nauseous at times! No bleeding since week 18 now and no sickness since 20 weeks! I have a lot of phlegm still but I just think this pregnancy has made my mucus membranes overactive coz its all thin and clear (sorry, bit gross!). Hoping once we have our 2nd anomaly scan they can c the heart properly and we can relax a little bit and start getting everything ready!



Lottie- don't feel guilty hun! No shame in finding out!! I think its the norm now! I do admire those who can wait but its just never gonna happen that way for me and I don't have any shame about finding out early! It really did help me bond last time and made shopping easier! Hope all goes well xxx

I don't think she would mind me posting but for those who remember Eryinera who started this journey with us and sadly lost her baby, has had it confirmed today that she has lost another one at 7 weeks. There is a thread in tri 1 for anyone wanting to show their support. So sad for her :'-(
