******August 2014 mummies******

Aw amazing, one of each again today welcome to team blue Mum2b and congrats on team pink Magdalena! Love this exciting time :) xx

Thanks Weezy! Magdalena is team blue too hun!...... Harspray had a scan Monday and she is team pink :-)

Congratulations on your scans ladies, how exciting for everyone. Can't wait for ours now.

Yay, congrats to both of you, my scan tomorrow, super excited and nervous too. Fingers crossed c

Got midwife tomorrow going to give her a telling off for the scare when we went to hospital and were confronted by 5 doctors all specialist to discuss our complications with my other half having his spleen removed when he was ten. Me and the OH just looked at them gormless! We had been so worried why we were asked to go to hospital and turns out she had referred us by mistake! Omg

I'm hoping she will be persuaded to listen for a heart beat too, I felt movement two weeks ago then nothing in the last week. I'm not overly worried as I have still have been sick this morning. But then I think about it and do worry.

We still haven't bought anything! I keep thinking something is going to go wrong. Does anyone else feel like this after passing the 12 week mark because everyone says I should be fine now. I wasn't like this with my other two.

Aw sorry Magdalena.... Struggling to keep up with everything! Woo lots of baby boys I just can't wait !!
Is it August yet!! :) :)

Team blue is just in the lead today!

Good luck for tomorrow Donnah! Sure it will be fine- I felt exactly as u do yesterday!

Mummy bear- that is outrageous!! What the hell?! That is just awful to go through that all coz of a mistake!!
Its not just u.....I bought the first thing today at 21 weeks after our scan! Xxx

My arm is killing!!

Who's had the flu jab here? What side effects did you have?

When I had it my arm hurt for about 24 hours and then I felt like I had a cold for a few days..... That's about it! X

Yay more team blues, congrats mum2be and Magdalena. Also a team pink harspray, contacts.

Getting lots of indigestion as my latest pregnancy symptom, think I'm going to stop the evening snacks that set it off! Also got some nasty smelling bottom burps at the moment, good job OH is in snug next door playing his new play station game and can't smell them!

Day off tomorrow, but for his mums funeral, family descending on us early, so lots of cleaning and baking a cake for me tonight!

Happy I felt like I had been punched in the arm for about a day, but day 2 I felt like my arm weighed a tonne. Luckily escaped the cold but have had it plenty times since then to make up for it :) x

Eugh it's really hurting. I have a temperature too.

I react badly to the jab I'm really ill for about 48 hours. Starts about 3 hours after the jab. Feel like I'm dying with a fever and hurt from head to toe and can't even get out of bed. I have it every year tho as I'm asthmatic and get bronchitis a lot if I don't so lesser evil kind of thing. Hope you feel better soon.

Oh got home from work and told him what happened at the doc and he reminded me how stressed I was this morning and that could explain the high blood pressure. He has me chilling out now hoping it goes down by tomorrow xxx

Mummy bear I thought I would be relieved after 12 weeks, then pushed it to 14 and 16 and then I think I have been waiting for my scan (today at 14:00) and will hopefully start buying after today!

Happy - I had the flu jab about 3 weeks ago, arm was fine but I am on my 2nd cold since then, grr!

Mum2b - thank you, have hospital this morning for diabetologist and then scan at 2 so hopefully the morning won't drag!

Happy Friday everyone :)

Aw good luck with scan today Donnah, really exciting to see your baby again :)

I have come down with another cold yesterday plus I will be 20 weeks tomorrow and here we go again... Same as last pregnancy, last night I had painful contractions coming about every 2-3 minutes, it lasted for about an hour all together and then it settled again.

Last time I was even sent to the labour ward at 22 weeks , the contractions do not seem to dilate cervix but there is always the possibility that they will; for the rest of the pregnancy I kept getting them on/off and just had to learn to live with them, when they came I just had to drop everything and rest.

I am so hoping last night's is not the start of it again, and that it was just a one off.

Hope everyone has nice weekend whilst I am at work :( xxx

Sorry to hear that mummy_midwife, it sounds like a nightmare scenario having to worry about early contractions. I had a really strong false labour at 36 weeks and that was scary enough, never mind at 20! Fingers crossed it was just a one off xx

Sorry to hear that mummymw, let's hope it is a one off.

I am currently at the hospital waiting to see obstetrician and diabetologist, as I pulled into the hospital there were 3 magpies on the grass! Been seen by the midwife who has put my date back to 2nd August as I have to go by the scan when they did the screening, it is only 3 days but they keep changing it all the time! Roll on 2:00 x

Just seen the midwife and now waiting to see the doc who is on the phone to the hospital. Looks like I'm being admitted. Blood pressure is to high still and protein in my pee. Add the tingly face and general unwell feeling she seemed quite worried. She thinks they will admit me until they stabilise my blood pressure. I'm bricking it now I've got further than I've ever got I can't lose him now :( xxx
