Been shopping today, got a wedding on Sat got new dress, shoes and fascinator all in the sale

Libby wouldn't take a bottle at 1 screamed in house of Fraser cafe, but demolished 3oz at 3.30 in no time! No problems at all.

Tambo, please dont beat yourself up. If BFing works, its great. If.it doesnt, its a struggle.
Yes, his nappies will smell more but they will smell when you wean anyway. If they remain green though, i would take him to.the doc, can be a sign of lactose intolerance/CMA.
I only found out my son had it when i started topping up with formula cause its based on cow's milk

I had another killer poop to deal with this morning!!! Just finished cleaning JJ up...about to put new nappy on...and he pooped on me, his sleepsuit and fired a bit at the wall for good measure!! Gross

I haven't rcvd a letter about a 3 month check either xxx

I wasn't sure if it was to do with his hand, but the referral is with another hospital so there wouldn't be anything they could say or do at that appointment anyway. I'll find out next month

I always seem to get the epic poos...I just have to laugh though...I swear he smirks at me while I'm cleaning him!

Rhys is off to get his first set of jags tomorrow...I'm so scared!! 1. Because I'll no doubt cry like a big baby when he screams and 2. There is so much scary stuff out there about vaccinations these days I'll be petrified he has any bad side effects. Will just need to have extra cuddles tomorrow night and keep an eye on him! Hard work being a mum!

Well we had a better night and day Rian inhaler really helped him last night. It was lovely to not hear him weezing.

We have our 6wk check tommorow hopefully my wound is fully healed now. Xx

Glad the inhaler is helping...hopefully you will continue to have easier nights now.

I think it is because there is little waste in BM. When i started topping up DS1, he certainly started having more poos but i guess it varies by child too. I am waiting for an almighty one soon lol. I bet it will happen tomorrow when Australian relatives are visiting.
I have second bout of mastitis as M was snotty and feeding was difficult so on antibiotics now
Good thing is that didnt affect him and he weighs 6,3 kg now

Freddie has to have a three month check because he was in nicu for a week so I think it's standard procedure xxx

How much milk does your little one drink? And how old are they?

The reason I ask is because H can and often does demolish a 4oz bottle and he's only just over 3 weeks! He'll feed every 3-4 hours and 9 times out of ten its the full 4oz! I stop to wind him half way through thinking maybe he's just drinking because it's there, but when I brush his lip with the bottle he'll turned his head and find the teat then drink the rest!

And on top of that when he's having a growth spurt he'll be crying for an extra oz or so only an hour after his big feed. Plus he's on the hungry milk!

I just worry that he's drinking more than he should be and will put on way too much weight. Last week he put on a full lb in 8 days!!

Hey Emma JJ has been on 6oz bottles for around 2 weeks now. Before that, he was taking 5oz for a week...he is a hungry little boy!

My HV told me he was taking too much and I was over feeding, as he had also put on 1lb in 8 days...she said he needed to be weighed every week and monitored closely. It made me feel terrible...

I took him to a walk in centre to be weighed and they told me that putting on 1lb in 8 days is perfectly possible, especially when going through a growth spurt and that I didn't need to take him to get weighed every week - the HV at the centre actually contacted my HV direct to tell her that JJ was healthy and fine and that I wasn't doing anything wrong - yay! She also said that babies DO NOT overfeed. It's truly hard to know who to listen to sometimes though!

JJ is 8 +2 now - and takes between 30 - 36 oz every day. He normally has 7oz for his first bottle at 5am-ish, the rest are 6oz bottles throughout the day and he more often than not finishes each one.

Hey Emma, Ava is 10 weeks tomorrow and is having 5-6oz every 4 hours, she goes from about 7.45pm - 4.30 5am at night. I had the similar concerns, was worried I was over feeding her to, hv said her weight gain has been perfectly fine tho which did make me feel better.

I started weight watchers the over week and so far lost half a stone,which I'm happy with.
Went on a epic walk this morning with my friend to make the most of the lovely weather we think we must of walked about 5k!! And I went to Zumba tonite. Aching a lot now!!
Saturday will be the first time I'm away from Ava for a good few hours ( going to see robbie Williams

I only get 1 poo a day. Had an awful one last week, had to give her an emergency bath!

Been using aldi nappies for a while now and I think thier fab, would def recommend them!! X

Go you pandabear I'm desperate to get my weight back under control! Went to an hour long spin class tonight & it nearly killed me haha! My ass is so sore from that bloody seat lol! Trying to stick with it, it's so hard though lol!

I'll need to try aldi nappies iv heard good things! Asdas little angels have been good for me, really don't like pampers though they always leak!
